About: I have loved animals my whole life. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger, but my foster life didn’t give me the chance. I spent two years raising birds when I was younger and every home I’ve lived in has had multiple cats or dogs. We currently have one dog that is an ESA for my youngest daughter. He is the most tolerable kind dog I’ve ever met and loves playing with other dogs. I have no breed restrictions. I’ve had experience with dogs, cats, birds, and horses. I’m also open to caring for cage critters and snakes. Feel free to ask! I work a lot of hours but I am self employed so I can take breaks at a moments notice. I am very flexible in my schedule but also have a routine. I prefer to have at least 2-3 days notice for returning pet parents and 1 week notice for new parents to adjust my routine, have time for a meet and greet and make it work for everyone. I have a large fenced backyard and one extremely playful and loving pup. He is a Husky/Golden Retriever mix that doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. My dog sleeps with my kids, particularly my youngest as he was adopted as an ESA for he’s severe nighttime anxiety when she was younger. At this time I am not boarding due to restrictions. This may change later. If I am caring for your pet at your house, I am happy to bring mine along as a playmate or I can leave him at home.

About: I cared for my 2 sweet black Cocker Spaniels as a child and as a young adult I had a Coon Hound as well as a Chihuahua. I am retired and have plenty of time to care for your pet. I only leave for short grocery runs, but if asked, will not leave your precious pet alone. I have a medium sixed fenced back yard for exercise, sunshine, and lots of fetch games for you precious small dog and a cool home during the hot months.

“Colleen was great with our two dogs, Brodie and Sara. She came over prior to the trip and met both dogs and reviewed our wishes in detail. She was prompt each day and we received a report on each visit to include a picture of both dogs. When we arrived home Brodie and Sara were happy and playful unlike when we pick them up from the kennel and they look emotionally and physically beat down. We will be using Rover and Colleen for our future needs.”

About: I have stayed over night for multiple days for different individuals over the years. Been able to assist in giving medication to dogs. Help with potty training puppies. I work remotely from home for a pediatric clinic as a receptionist. I am on the phone and computer most of the day. I am able to take breaks at my discretion. Only work Monday-Friday and some weeks I only work 22 hours. Have fed the pets, taking them for walks few times during the day, if needed gave medications. Can play with the pets during my off the clock time.

I make sure your pets feel safe and relaxed, and I always send updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your dog’s needs—whether they’re full of energy and need a brisk walk or prefer a slower, sniff-filled stroll. Safety is my top priority, and I make sure your dog gets quality exercise, enrichment, and a calm return home. I always make sure water bowls are topped off before I leave and that your pup is settled and happy. Consistency, kindness, and communication are at the heart of how I care for every pet. 🐾

About: I’ve always loved Animals! I’ve had a dog since I was 7. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t get along with me. I always felt like they gravitate towards me! I also currently have two dogs, who are my world! I am a stay at home mom, who also works retail part time! With my dogs we play and cuddle whenever I can! I also walk my doggies 3 times a day, depending on the weather! So my schedule is flexible to take care of your fur babies! I will walk your dog as much as I’m instructed or as needed! I do have a large kennel if they have to go in or one isn’t brought from home! As long as you tell me your dogs schedule (if they don’t have one , that is fine!) we should be fine!

About: We have been caring for dogs, cats, donkeys, goats, and pigs for well over 10 years. We have recently moved to Athens and bring with us that experience to offer to you! We have helped birth and raised numerous dogs, numerous cats from birth, to include bottle feeding both dogs and cats. I have worked at horse ranch as well. My wife and I have grown up around and cared for animals all of our life. I currently work full time and I'm home by 5pm, but my wife is a stay at home mother, so someone will always be available for potty breaks, feeding, watering or play time! We are able to do drop in visits, boarding as well as dog sitting! We currently have 4 very friendly dogs that get along great with any animal we have had over or around, so plenty of friends for your pup to play with! We also have a large fenced in yard, and a shop with concrete flooring for shelter if needed.
