“First time using Ashley for doggy day care and it was an amazing experience! From the moment she opened the door Stitch was so excited to see her. Thank you again for everything!”

“I don’t know who was more anxious about our first doggy daycare experience, me or Sofia. But Judy and her daughter were so sweet and understanding. I felt comfortable leaving Sofia with them and Sofia was pretty chill when I picked her up. Which is saying a lot considering her separation anxiety.”

“Ashley was great! She was really responsive and flexible, which we much appreciated. Our dog loved her, and we could tell from the pictures he was having a good time. Will definitely be back :)”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13 (now 36) from dog and cats to lizards and snakes. I don't discriminate. When I was younger I only took care of friends and family but now I found rover I am currently on hiatus from my employer so I have ample amount of time to take care of and play with your fur baby. I have a very large fenced in yard for your dog to run and play. I also have my own fur baby to help keep your baby company. I don't crate my small French bulldog but i do have a large crate big enough for a 70 pound dog just in case your dog needs it.
About: I am a great care giver, I will run with your dog for an exceptionally long time. Your dog will get tired before I do. I'm athletic, very sympathetic, I'm also in love with dogs. I had a Yorkshire who sadly passed away from old age, so I would love to continue passing all of that love and nurturing that he recieved. I took care of my dog for over 14 years now and have given these services for over 6 years, so I'd say I'm pretty skilled in dog sitting and dog walks. You won't regret choosing me. I'm available anytime after 4 from Sunday to Thursday and am available all day on Friday and Saturday. Taking care of dogs is one of the things that I simply just love to do. I feel that a bond can be created just by saying, "You're a Good Boy/Girl!" Thank you for choosing me! I am currently working full time at a substance abuse and mental health rehab center. This means that I work 5, 8 hour shifts out of the week during the morning shift from 7:30a-4p. However, I have another person that assists me at home to care for the dog while I am absent and they are as responsible as I am. I do not have a fenced yard. I have a lake outside my door and I will take your lovely pooch out for walks around that lake. If you do not have a crate, I can provide one.

“Heather was absolutely amazing! 🤩 We’re new to this Rover App but we had a sudden family emergency & needed a caring & reputable dog-sitter for the day. I decided to take a chance & reached out to her after reading the rave reviews she received & was immediately impressed with her response time. She was accommodating from the start and always responded quickly to any questions/concerns we may have had. She kept us in the loop throughout the day on how our little Westie, Daisy was doing, which certainly helped to put our minds at ease. From the pics, we could see that Daisy was adjusting well. We would highly recommend Heather & her hubby, to anyone seeking the services of a great Pet Sitter. We’ll definitely be repeat customers. 🤗”

“Nya is amazing! I was in town for a week for work and needed help with my sweet, smart, & slightly skittish little dog. She watched him for 3 of my longest & busiest work days. She responded quickly to messages. It became clear from our conversations that she takes training seriously (with her own pup) and understands the value of exercise & play in building trust and giving my pup a full and joyous day. Nya is so sweet & patient, which is exactly what my pup needed. If I’m ever back in the West Palm Beach areas Nya will be my first call. I highly recommend her!”

Judy and her daughter were very pleasant, and I received plenty of pictures and updates of my pup throughout the day. She is very responsive and understanding of your dog’s individual needs. Thank you!

Gipsy y su familia fueron muy amables . Cuidaron de mi Luna muy bien . Su vivienda colinda con un enorme parque para pasear perros. Luna regresó muy relajada! Gipsy and her family were very kind. They took excellent care of my Luna. Their home borders a huge park for walking dogs. Luna returned very relaxed!

My dog Obi had a great time at Arianna’s! She was very accommodating and willing to meet beforehand to make sure Obi and I were comfortable, and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay. Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
