About: Caring for all animals. Fur babies large and small. Young and old alike. Barn animals… horses,mini horses,goats chickens and donkeys. Of course your kitty too. We do reptiles. Finding one’s self with little to do after retirement, caring for animals just fit in so well and what a stress reliever these fur babies are. 😄 I have double fenced in areas, with all sizes of houses. My preference is to care for animals in their own environments. They are Less stressed at home.😉

I believe in the ethical treatment of animals, and I will advocate for them however I can. I have cared for many dogs of my own over the years, as well as for others. I recently lost my beloved dog of 15 years to cutaneous lymphoma, which required attentive, around-the-clock care, including carefully timed medications and a thoughtfully managed diet tailored to his health needs. He was truly a member of my family, and his loss has left a significant space in my life—one of the reasons I’ve chosen to join Rover.
