My 12 yr old Chi who basically just barks at everyone, actually let her pet her & then went up & sat with her. By the time we got home from the weekend our Chi was like a different dog. She let my grandkids, who she normally wouldn't go near, pet her, & feed her & even went up to them. This is so amazing & we have Debbie to thank for it. She set up their toys and cat furniture to create a new and interesting environment for them. Maurie’s communication with us was outstanding – multiple pictures and communications every day! And from the pictures, it was pretty clear that the cats were enjoying being with her and enjoying life in general, which gave us great peace of mind. Maurie left the house clean and tidy and even cleaned our refrigerator shelves – wow! We whole-heartedly recommend Maurie!”

She understands them. She READS them and allows them to become their best selves. Her ability to train one of the hardest breeds, Huskies, to walk, leave it, stop in their tracks and return (huskies- really!), be comfortable with other dogs and strangers is remarkable. I've seen her work with dogs from tiny terriers to German Shepherds. She uses the characteristics and what drives each dog's passion to get them to connect with the owner, and teaches the owner how to connect with their dog. I grew up taking care of our dogs and their puppies. I also have a Labrador Retriever now. His name is Jockey. He is a big 75 lb boy turning 1. I work full-time but am looking for something supplemental. I am available for overnight stays if needed, but dogs are welcome in my home as well. I’m currently working full-time. My hours change. I am available mornings, nights, drop-ins on my lunch breaks (if local) and weekends. My job is flexible if I need to make changes. Please reach out to me for more info! I live in a third floor apartment in Morristown now with a small backyard (not fenced in). Can provide walks in town. Feed all meals of the day. “Dawn was absolutely amazing with our pups and treated our home like it was her own. She is such a loving and caring person and our dogs could tell from the minute she walked in. The pups are so used to being with someone all day (we work from home) and throughout the stay she was always playing with them or giving them snuggles. I think they hardly noticed we left. Ha. She kept us up to date on everything they were doing, sent videos and pictures constantly! She is responsible and smart and we never worried for one second- that is priceless. I cannot wait to have Dawn back with our babies!”

About: Hello! I am an animal lover who would be happy to help you with your dog (or other pets)! I grew up having all kinds of pets: pig, goats, chickens, cats, iguanas, and of course DOGS!!!! I work from home which allows for flexibility in my schedule + time to play with your dog! If you choose me as your dog sitter, your dog will be in good company all day long! I understand how much you love your dog and will take the very best care of your pet! I am self employed so my schedule is very flexible. I work from home and have a big back yard and plenty of woods to spend time with your dog outside on walks. I will be an attentive dog sitter making sure your dog remains on their daily feeding and walking schedule. I do not allow dogs to go on my furniture in my home but I do have doggie gates so this should not be a problem. I have chickens and a pet snake but each have their own enclosures and will not be interacting with your dog. These animals will be kept separated from each other.

About: I have had dogs all my life. Walking them is a nice way to spend one on one time with your animals. Dogs are awesome I work part time so I have time in-between to let the animals out for potty breaks. And weekends are free so I be available. Putting the dogs needs first. Always making sure there is water and food. I have experience giving dogs medicine. I get along with animals best.

About: I am a small private English bulldog breeder who loves animals and enjoys caring for my puppies after they have gone to their new home. I am a retired family resort, owner, who doubles in real estate and works from home occasionally so I am always available in the home. I have a 10 acre farm at with fenced in yard and doggie door… Beautiful trails for walking the dogs on leashes and far from the road. I have a very safe place for your pet.

About: I have taken care of many friends and families dogs. Walking, feeding, medication and most importantly love and attention. I have experience with smaller dogs such as beagles all the way to Great Danes and anything in between. I do not currently have my own dog but my family has a Great Dane that I take care of regularly. I have 2 cats, Oliver and Tikki I am currently on leave from work for an injury.
