“Andrew was a lifesaver. I’m an anxious dog mom who was leaving for an international trip over Christmas and Andrew put my mind at ease. My dog has some stranger danger and it took some time to get her comfortable b it andrew was incredibly patient, kind, and full of knowledge re: dog behavior so the adjustment was quick and he got her comfortable in no time! I got plenty of pictures and updates and I know my pup had a great time. My home was left cleaner than it was when I left. THANK YOU, Andrew!!”

“This was a last minute booking, and then the details changed the day before due to a member of my family being hospitalized. Wilfred rolled with the changes and adjusted when to arrive and leave my house in order to give my pup a nice intermission from being stuck at home alone. Very communicative, conscientious, and punctual, with a genuine love and care for animals. Will definitely book again when needed.”

“I felt extremely safe leaving my anxious pup with Thalia! I was updated during the day and was very reassured when I expressed concern about Morti’s behaviors. Definitely going to book with Thalia again!”

“Jen was an outstanding cat sitter. She accepted my last minute request and immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my cat in her care. My cat requires multiple medications throughout the day, and she handled everything flawlessly. She was kind, attentive, and even took the initiative to research my cat’s condition to better understand his needs. Coming home to a clean house and litter box was so nice after a long day of travel. I couldn’t have asked for better care—highly recommended!”

“Tara was a huge help with my anxious dog. Spent the night with my pup andwas attentive to any special instructions I left for my pup. Definitely will be booking with Tara in the future. Thanks fursitter”

“Cristel is absolutely fantastic! Inga loves her and so do we ❤️❤️! She is SO loving to our dog and communicates very well as to how our girl is doing, even asking about our trip! I would give Cristel more stars, if I could!!”
About: I’ve always had a love for dogs, and before I moved to America we owned two amazing high energetic dogs. I loved taking them on walks and letting them explore the environment. I will ensure your dog is having as much fun as I will on his/her walk. I like getting exercise through walking so your dog will be getting plenty of it. Your dogs safety is also a top priority to me at all times and I will ensure that whatever activities we’ll be engaging in, they'll be kept safe. I work full time but still have plenty of time in the day to play and love your pup, my husband is also usually home as well and will generally help with care I have a fenced in backyard that I like taking the dogs outside to if they don’t need a long walk while they stay. We can also play.
“Maurie was great with our dog Finn for a week. She gave many updates and stuck to his routine, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. I would definitely recommend Maurie for your needs and will book again in the future!”

About: I've been around animals my entire life and have always had a love for caring for them. I currently have a fun, energetic 2-year-old Goldendoodle and a 7-year-old cat, so I'm experienced with both dogs and cats and understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine. Growing up with multiple dogs taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and providing plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. As a registered nurse, I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions, administering medications if needed, and recognizing when something doesn't seem right. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule because I currently work part-time, giving me flexible availability throughout the week. I'm able to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits whenever possible. I currently provide pet care exclusively in my clients' homes, where pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I'll treat your home with the utmost respect and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for until you return home.

About: Hi! My name is Deja, and I’m someone who has loved and cared for animals my entire life. I grew up with both cats and dogs and currently have experience caring for multiple pets of my own, including 4 cats and 2 dogs. Over the last 1–2 years, I’ve also gained hands-on pet care experience outside of my own home. As a therapist, compassion, patience, and attentiveness are a huge part of who I am, and I bring those same qualities into the care I provide for every pet. What makes me stand out is the level of care, patience, and emotional attentiveness I bring to animals. I genuinely see pets as beings with feelings, emotions, and unique personalities, and I treat them with the same kindness and respect I would give another person. Being a therapist has strengthened my ability to be calm, observant, trustworthy, and responsive to individual needs, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure around me. I don’t just “watch” pets — I build connection, provide comfort, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently work part-time as a therapist while continuing to grow my caseload. Pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy and intentionally include in my schedule because caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. Since I work part time, I’m able to dedicate focused attention, patience, and quality care to the pets I work with rather than treating it like a rushed side job. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and emotional needs, so I approach each animal with compassion, empathy, and attentiveness. Whether your pet needs playtime, comfort, companionship, or gentle patience, I will treat them with the same love and care I would give my own pets.
About: Hi there! I would love to have the honor of taking care of your fur babies! I have plenty of experience considering I have 9 dogs of my own... yes 9! Two big dogs and the rest are small to medium sized. So I am basically a dog walker at my own house just without the pay, haha. I am a recent college graduate from ESU with a BA in musical theatre but I would love to in the future become a veterinarian someday. My schedule is open and I also have my own transportation! I would describe myself as very reliable, kind, and caring. I hope you consider me to be your pups dog walker, I can promise you they will be in good hands!(:
“Sheila was professional and communicative. She understood some of the behavioral challenges we've had either our new rescue pup and reported that the stay went seamlessly. She sent picture updates and provided good feedback. We would use her again and recommend her.”

If you are training your dog I can continue it so they get all the practice while you're gone. Anything else, feel free to ask with a message! Shanon was great to work with! She was so responsive when we would check in and was very sweet with our cat. He looked very happy and relaxed in all the photos and videos she sent. Shanon was able to help us out very last minute for a holiday weekend and we were so appreciative of that!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Analomink walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Analomink maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Analomink choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
