âSo appreciative of Madison. She is timely, professional and provides excellent communication. Weâre fortunate to have her. She should add professional pet photographer to her resume. Her pet pics are amazing!â

About: Iâve always had a love for dogs, and before I moved to America we owned two amazing high energetic dogs. I loved taking them on walks and letting them explore the environment. I will ensure your dog is having as much fun as I will on his/her walk. I like getting exercise through walking so your dog will be getting plenty of it. Your dogs safety is also a top priority to me at all times and I will ensure that whatever activities weâll be engaging in, they'll be kept safe. I work full time but still have plenty of time in the day to play and love your pup, my husband is also usually home as well and will generally help with care I have a fenced in backyard that I like taking the dogs outside to if they donât need a long walk while they stay. We can also play.
âKatherine is amazing. My siamese cat loved her instantly. She is professional and very caring of each animal she is responsible for. She provides such cute pictures of each visit with your animal.â

âJennifer was excellent. Prompt, attentive, and went above and beyond to care for my cats while I was away. She gave detailed information and sent me pics, which was awesome! Even though the cats were hiding!â

âShelby was great with our dogs and they warmed right up to her. She did everything we asked and even reached out to see if we wanted to modify our plan due to impending rain which was very thoughtful. We plan to book with her again and use her regularly!â

When we came home after vacation, our pets were relaxed and happy. She was easy to communicate with, leave detailed messages on the app everyday. Thank you so much!!â

âKimberly was awesome! She communicated with us everyday and always made sure to send several photos during her visits. It was a pleasure to work with her and we would absolutely work with her again.â

About: Iâve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. Iâve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friendsâ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancĂŠ, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. Iâm currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the ownerâs consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.

Thalia took care of it no problem, sent me photos where I could see how the eye was looking and made me feel at ease. My cat was so happy, healthy and well cared for. I will definitely be rebooking. Highly recommendâ

Jennifer did not just come over and feed my kitties, she bonded with them my giving extra attention, playtime, and love. We came home to two happy kitty cats and could not be more grateful for what she did as it eased our anxiety and concerns. Cat sitters on Rover care for your catsâ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Analomink. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
