About: I’ve just been laid off my job, and prior to that I was a very active sitter on Rover, approx 2017 - 2020 in both Sacramento and Santa Rosa. Now I’m back in Sacramento and have a home with a fenced yard, and we just lost our sweet senior boy so I would love nothing more than to spoil your doggos instead! I’m looking for new work right now, so my schedule is pretty flexible to be able to walk or drop in on your pups as needed! I had a small Maltese-Bishon mix growing up, a gentle but stubborn Pyrenees mix recently, and lots of pitties, shepherds and collies in the family. On Rover and through referrals off the site I’ve been a successful sitter for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays, for all types of dogs but I do have a soft spot for big dogs and or prefer day time or evening drop ins (just no late nights). I can do basic training with your pup if you’d like help with that, and I can administer oral/drop medicines, and basic injections like insulin. I was just laid off my job and would love to spend some extra time with pets while I’m home all the time right now! Im happy to drive to your neighborhood to drop in or walk, or do field-trips! Doggy daycare will be coming soon in our big fenced yard.

About: I’ve had dogs for the past 9 years. Anywhere between 2-4 dogs at a time. I currently have two dogs that are older and pretty tame now. I’ve cared for all sorts of dogs - energetic, dog friendly, not dog friendly, dogs that are afraid of people, old dogs, and young dogs. I have experience giving medications to dogs and caring for wounds as well. I mostly work from home and am usually around to let the dogs in and out. If I were to ever have to be in the field for work, I would either have that day marked as unavailable in my calendar or would let you know. I have a large fenced backyard with lots of grass and trees for the dogs to play in. I currently have two dogs that are older but enjoy going outside to either just sit and enjoy the sun or occasionally chase the squirrels that hang out back here. I take breaks throughout the day from work to hang out with the dogs and when the weather allows, take the dogs for about a 2 mile walk.

About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently have two dogs and understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

About: My wife Erica and I have owned and taken care of pets for over 25 years. Family members, friends and neighbors have relied on us to board, feed and walk their pets during this time. We are are lifetime pet lovers and we love them all like they are our own. Either myself or my wife will be in the home 24/7 so we are able to provide all necessary care (walking, feeding, exercising and bathroom breaks as needed). I have a fully fenced front and back yard with plenty of space for your dogs to roam. I can easily crate your pet as needed. Either myself of my wife will be at the house at all times. I am home night and weekends and she is home days. Someone will be at home 24/7 to meet your pets needs/ Dogs are fed and walked as needed and provided a bathroom break every 2 hours. I also have a fully fenced front and back yard as well as a park down the street for outdoor play.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and they’ve always been part of the family. My home is cozy and dog-friendly, with two large pups of my own and a spacious, fenced backyard they can enjoy through a dog door while I’m home. When I’m away, all dogs stay safely inside. If I’m watching a puppy or a dog that cannot be alone for 4 hours, I can accommodate if my schedule is open. Your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture and will receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime from me and my two dogs and will have free roam in the house. We have a communal toy bin and a spacious, fenced backyard accessible via a dog door when I’m home. When I leave, the dogs are secured inside the house. Until your pup is ready to free roam unsupervised with my dogs, they’ll have a safe, separate hallway complete with a comfy dog bed, toys, and water, so they can still see and enjoy the company of the others for the times I am not home . If your fur baby prefers a crate while I’m away, I can do that only if they genuinely enjoy their crate and look forward to settling in. If your dog enjoys walks, I’m happy to take them for a drive to a nearby park or a friendly neighborhood walk. I care about a harmonious environment, so I can only host dogs that get along well with others. My home is best suited for pups who love to play and mingle, and I currently host up to two small to medium dogs to keep things cozy. We love puppies.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, including newborn puppies. I currently have a cat at home, but she can be easily kept separate if your pet is not comfortable around cats. I welcome dogs of all ages and am happy to provide long walks or trips to the dog park, depending on your pet’s needs. Additionally, my mother, a licensed veterinary technician, lives with me and is available in case of any emergencies, providing an extra level of care and peace of mind. I am available anytime to care for your pet. Someone is always home to care for them during the day and I can offer potty breaks every few hours or so. I am very close to a local dog park. I am more than willing to take your pets there. There is also a dog park onsite at my apartments.
