“Lexie was able to jump in when another boarder had to cancel last minute. This turned out to be one of the best boarding experiences I have ever had. The setup for the dogs is incredible and Lexie took the time to really get to know Ella and accommodate her needs. Ella is the type of dog to get hyper/overly excited when anxious in new places but Lexie worked her magic and I picked up a very happy and relaxed dog. It was clear she had a wonderful time and got to play a lot. I look forward to using Lexie in the future for my boarding needs!”

“Wonderful in every single way! They took the best care of my dog, sent me pictures of her every day, and took her on long walks and runs which she loved. Would recommend and will be booking them again!”

“This couple was very hands-on with Dixie and Zoe . Walks everyday , administered medicine to Dixie and sent pictures daily. Monica is at home all day and loves animals. My girls were very well taken care of!”

“Aika was incredibly kind and considerate with my dog, treating them like their own. I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in such caring hands. Everything was smooth, and I would definitely book again the next time I need a sitter.”

“As always- Whitney and Ryan were awesome. They’re so patient with Henry and Henry LOVES their dogs and little girl. Ryan deserves a massive shoutout because my dog burrowed himself under their back deck for like 3 hours. Ryan army crawled underneath and spent soooo much time trying to coax my dog out (it was late too, around 1130pm when my dog came out). Can’t say enough good things.”
“I would highly recommend Debbie! This was our first time using Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We got updates and pictures throughout our dog’s stay and never worried about him because we knew he was in good hands.”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

“Honey has stayed with Cory and Stacey before and has a great time with them. They send pictures that show that she is comfortable with them in their home. I don’t worry about her, I know she is well taken care of.”

“Kathy was terrific with our pit bull. He's super friendly with people, but sometimes needs a minute to warm up to dogs. Kathy did a wonderful job letting him get adjusted to her animals. He made great friends, got tons of playtime, and lots of love! She also sent us daily texts with pics and videos. Would absolutely board with Kathy again.”

“This was my first time using a sitter for Buddy. Niagara was amazing. Sending videos pictures and text, allowing me to share in Buddys’ stay. I would absolutely use her again and also refer her to others. Niagara thanks for loving, protecting , caring and servicing Buddy and me!! We’ll see you again!!!!”

“Jenny was fantastic. She kept me abreast of things while keeping Daisy. Easy to work with and Daisy seemed to really have enjoyed being there and playing with the other dogs. Will definitely be booking Jenny again next time we travel.”

“Stacey was very accommodating to my schedule and has a bubbly personality. Willie enjoyed his time with her and I could enjoy my trip with not worrying about my fur baby. I will use her again if/when the need raises.”

“I can't say enough good things about Karen. My boy was well taken care of, had a lot of fun. Very welcoming and professional and warm. I will definitely be boarding with her again. Absolutely phenomenal!”

“Nontombe is amazing! She’s sweet and loves on your fur baby as if it’s her own. She communicates and will keep you updated with pictures and videos while you’re away. My Mazi loves her!”

“Nugget had a great time with Kira! I got updates and pictures of him being spoiled. This was our second time leaving him with Kira and would definitely use her again!”

“My dog normally is hesistant of new people but immediately took to Shannon. Shannon taught me about proper intros and health facts around bloating I never knew prior. She not only kept me updated while she boarded my high energy dog everyday she had her, she also was understanding of unexpected car issues i had on the day of pick up. I would recommend Shannon to anyone who needs a safe place for their pet and seeking good communication during whatever service they choose to explore with her. 10000/10 would recommend”

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
