“Sheryl is SO good with Ace! He doesn’t typically like strangers but he took to her from the first visit. Sheryl’s communication is outstanding and friendly. She always sends multiple pictures and lets us know how he is. Excellent service!”

“Really appreciate all the help with Stella and Ripley! Prompt, thorough, friendly, followed instructions given, great and super prompt communication!! First time using Rover, easy process, would book Emily again!”

“My dogs adore Alyssa. She has a special way of connecting with all animals. I don’t worry when I leave them in her care because I know they are not going to be stressed and are well cared for along with getting some extra scratches and kisses. I also know that if any problem comes up, with all of her experience, she will handle it. I feel lucky to have her help!”

“Amazing, nothing else to say. I had a birthday vacation planned for a couple of weeks and realized that I had no one to watch my cat. Moe showed up at the correct time. Every single day sent me pictures and updates every single time she visited and when I got home today I could tell that my cat was well taken care of! I’ll use no one except Moe from now on, 12/10 would recommend!!!”

“Jenn took incredible care of our pups! I’m grateful she was able to help us last minute and cannot thank her enough for the love and attention she gave our sweet girls. The happiness they portrayed in the pictures she sent us says everything!”

“Our dogs, Sammy and Bentley loved Jennifer P! They had a wonderful time together on the drop in visits. She came at the requested times, took care of them, gave a report and pics after each visit. Great job! We felt confident being out of town with Jennifer caring for our dogs . thank you!!”

“Heidi was on time and followed directions for the drop-in visit. She took great pictures and gave awesome updates! She is responsive and professional. I will be booking with her again.”

“Kristin was very pleasant and easy to talk to about our pups. I really am looking forward to her sitting with our dogs. Our dogs were very receptive and positively responsive to her.”

“Kelly was AMAZING!!! Her timing was prompt & she went above and beyond my expectations. Working long shifts in healthcare leaves me so stressed knowing my furbabies are at home alone & knowing they got such good care from Kelly was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Seriously, I can’t thank her enough. For taking the extra time to walk her, making sure she got multiple potty opportunities, and the photo updates. Highly recommend 🤩”

“Kira is wonderful! Our puppy loves her and gets so excited to see her. Kira was also excellent with our older dog who recently passed away. She’s very kind and passionate about caring for animals. Highly recommend!”

“Claire is awesome and put our family at ease. She was great with communicating and went above and beyond taking care of our indoor and outdoor cats. We will definitely definitely be using her services again.”

“Katie was amazing with our two crazy dogs! She was kind and respectful to our house and our routine. She cleaned up an accident for us and she came over to meet the dogs prior to the drop ins, which is super important! I would love to use Katie again in the future and I highly recommend her!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
