About: Background/experience in veterinary medicine. I am very comfortable with giving medication, taking care of special needs/senior pets. I treat every pet as if they are my own. I currently own my own equine business which means I set my own hours. I am a very active person so including other animal duties into my daily life is not difficult. I treat each pet as if they were my own. I would do everything I could to keep them comfortable in their own home while their owners are away. Even if that means sitting on the floor while they take a nap so they don't feel alone.
About: I have 2 pit bulls currently. My male was born deaf, 95 pounds and 6 yrs old. My female is 10 years old, very sassy and 80 pounds. I work full time but currently have some flexibility in my time.I can go in a little later or leave a little earlier to best fit the schedule needed. Prior Air Force medic, for 5 years, and would house, dog, and babysit for fellow members and leadership. Also, was a veterinary assistant for 1.5 years. I own three big dogs, an kitten and a tortoise, but have had the responsibility of caretaking for pets since I was young. I can schedule pretty much at any time and am willing to work longer hours, if it is needed. I am very flexible. I prefer not to drive over 40 minutes to a location for drop ins and walks, but can if you are unable to find another sitter closer to your location. I do not allow others pets in my own home due to two of my rescue dogs taking a long time to be comfortable around other dogs. I pay very close attention to the slightest changes in a pets mood and can be very reactive in an emergency situation, if it occurs. I am responsible on walks, I will keep your baby safe and not allow others to interfere with them. I will respect your rules and training that you have for your pet in your home and outside environment.
