About: I have a degree in Animal Science, which gives me a strong foundation in animal behavior, health, and proper care. I have fostered dogs and I’ve spent years working hands-on with animals of all ages, temperaments, and needs—from high-energy puppies to senior dogs that require a gentler, more attentive approach. What truly sets me apart is how customizable my services are. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care—every dog is different, so I tailor each walk or visit to match your dog’s energy level, personality, and routine. Whether your pup needs structured exercise, leisurely walks, enrichment based experiences or just a calm, reassuring presence, I’ve got it covered. Safety is always my top priority. I carry a first aid kit with me on walks and stay alert to surroundings, weather, and your dog’s behavior at all times. I’m also comfortable administering basic care and following detailed instructions, so you can feel confident your dog is in capable hands. I take pride in being reliable, communicative, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every dog I care for. My goal is not just to walk your dog—but to give them a positive, enriching experience every time we’re together. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, and I’ve built my schedule to be highly flexible for my clients. This allows me to focus on your dog’s specific needs, whether that’s exercise, enrichment, or simply companionship. I’m happy to work with you to create a schedule that fits both your lifestyle and your dog’s routine, making the entire experience easy and stress-free. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are at the core of how I care for every pet. Whether I’m in your home or out on a walk, I treat your dog like my own and prioritize their comfort, routine, and well-being at all times. In your home, I’m extremely respectful of your space and follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules to medications, crate routines, and house rules. About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, and more. At one point we even had 7 dogs at once! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients have trusted me with their pets. I’ve been boarding and caring for dogs through Rover for over 3 years and truly love what I do. I’ve also spent time learning from professional dog trainers, which helped teach me proper handling, walking, and understanding different dog temperaments and behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two boys, who are now a little older and very used to being around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles throughout their stay. My husband and I are both huge animal lovers, and our home is very dog-friendly and relaxed. We have a fully fenced yard, two friendly dogs, and lots of space for your pup to feel comfortable and at home. I can also crate your dog if requested or follow any specific routines you have for them. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here because we believe pets are family too! I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always do my best to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos during their stay. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, energy level, and routine so they can feel as relaxed and at home as possible. I genuinely like keeping spaces tidy, and I aim to leave your home just as clean or even cleaner than I found it.
“Elana took very good care of my dog, Moose. I would highly recommend her services to anyone using the rover app. She made sure to give my pup treats, and also noticed some hairloss around his collar. I will be continuing to book her for walks moving forward.”
