“Amy was very kind with my 13-year old dog sending me multiple pictures with details of his daily activities. I appreciated that she took him for regular walks. Amy was also timely with communications regarding drop off and pick up time changes. I will definitely use Rover again and have Amy take care of my dog in the future.”

“Rich and his family treated my dog child like one of the bunch! I was so happy to know that my fur baby got to play with Rich and other doggies. He was well cared for and obviously enjoyed his time! I received daily photos and updates. Thank you so much Rich and your family for caring and boarding my dog child! I will be booking again next time I need it.”

“Lindsay was amazing!!! Our 5 month old puppy stayed with her for over a week and it was the best experience. She worked with her on some basic training, got her to sleep in a crate and sent daily pictures and updates! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Ashley and her family took great care of Diana, especially with all the long walks, making sure she took her medicine, and sending us so many updates and pictures to let us know how Diana was doing. We will absolutely be checking Ashley's availability next time we head out of town.”

“Tina was fantastic. My little Archie had a blast exploring in her fenced backyard and having company with her dogs. She also kept me up-to-date with pictures 😊 I couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you so much, Tina! 🫶”

“We actually came up from Twin Falls to stay for the weekend and couldn’t find one and Bob and Vicky took care of Duke. They were very thorough in their questions to make sure Duke would be comfortable in their home. They sent lots of pictures and videos and always responded promptly to our messages. They were awesome!”

“Karen watched my dog Nico for about two weeks and was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely responsive and friendly, willing to work with me in an odd situation as well. Nico adored her and I will absolutely recommend her.”

“Colleen and her family were amazing! They took my dog in for a whole week as part of their family. I think my dog enjoyed herself so much that she slept for almost two days for recovery. She made drop off and pick up easy and it was overall a great experience!!”

“We loved our first experience with Jillian and her family and we are now repeat costumers. Thank you Jillian for loving our furry friend and caring for him while we were away.”

“Brought our dog home after her first multi-night stay. She appears healthy & happy! Emily sent frequent photos of Nikki doing the things she loves to do. She also said she took her for evening walks, keeping her routine similar to the one we have for her at home.”

“Christopher and MJ come off as dog lovers immediately, and I received updated everyday. My dog loved swimming in the pond even if by accident. She came home happy and fulfilled (sleepy). Thank you”

“There aren't enough good things that I can say about Chad and his family! Not only was he super responsive, but I definitely felt like my dog was in good hands. Throughout my trip, I received many photo updates, usually when my dog was out and about playing with other pups. Having someone that you can depend on is paramount and I hit the jackpot with Chad. THANK YOU!!! P.S. Jovie says hello 🙂”

“Gabrielle took great care of our large dog for 2-1/2 weeks and allowed us to add an extra day to her schedule at the last minute, which we really appreciated. She has dogs of her own, and sent pictures of our dog having lots of fun playing with his new friends in her fenced yard. We highly recommend Gabrielle and would book with her again.”

“Colby and David are the bees knees , no lie! :) Lovely little family with a lovely home and a whole lot of love for animals. They took such good care of our fur baby while we were out of town. “Katelyn was great with my Layla & Ginger! She was very responsive and sent pictures. I could tell from the pictures my dogs were being well cared for. I will certainly allow Katelyn to keep my dogs again!”

“Melissa was so patient with Cooper. He was so scared and sad that we “left” him and gave Melissa a hard time the first day. She won him over the 2nd day and I was so relieved. We were thinking of coming home early, but she was so patient and kind Cooper was fine the rest of the time letting us enjoy Thanksgiving and our granddaughter’s first birthday party on Saturday. Thank you so much Melissa for taking good care of Cooper and Sandy too.”

“Thank you so much, Lerin for taking such a good care of our precious Luna during her stay with you. Luna was welcomed into your home and we could tell she was comfortable in her new environment while making new friends with your adorable pups. Thank you for staying in touch and sending us daily updates. We loved the pictures and the funny narratives. Luna came home happy and stress free. We will certainly be reaching out again in the future!”

“Elise was fantastic!! This was my first Rover experience and Elise made everything super easy, was very accommodating, responsive, and sent me updates on my dog Laika! Laika had such a blast and is looking forward to the next time she gets to hang out with Elise!! Thank you!!”

“First time meeting Beverly was amazing. Our cat Bella is very shy. Bella came out while we were talking and was looking at Bev, taking it all in. It was such a comfort to have Bev here with Bella. I was more relaxed knowing Bella wasn't alone. The house was immaculate. Bella's bathroom was clean. Beverly is just a wonderful and caring woman. She is a keeper. My husband and I highly recommend Beverly.”

“Aaron is absolutely amazing! He is kind, caring, and a great caretaker to any animal. Aaron stayed with my kitty, Paris for an entire week (which is the longest I've ever been away from her in 14 years) and things could not have gone better. He showed up promptly when he said he'd be there. He sent me updates and pics throughout the day ever single day even on days I told him I wouldn't have service. It was so nice to open my phone and have updates from the day before even though I wasn't expecting them. It was an even better feeling knowing that Aaron truly spent a lot of time with Paris as she is old, sassy, and needy for attention. Aaron was even there when I returned home in order to exchange keys and answer any questions that I had while I was away. It's obvious that Aaron truly cares about his work and his love for animals. I would absolutely book Aaron again and you should too!”
“Audry was great checking in on my two cats. They are scared of most people but they clearly started to warm up to her. She was great with communication and clearly wanted to do what's best for them.”

“Kristi was a great. We needed someone immediately due to a sick family member in the hospital and Kristi came over and loved on our pups in our absence. She was a great help!”

“Amy was the best! Not only did she take such great care of my dog, she also went above and beyond to allow me to drop off a little early and pick up a little late. 10/10 experience with her!!”

About: My wife and I love dogs and are excited to have the opportunity to care for your small to medium breed non-aggressive dog(s) under 35 lbs. (Please be advised that our experience has shown that the high energy cattle/sheep dogs, shepherds, etc., are generally not a good fit for us). We both have had dogs all of our lives. We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We generally accept only one client at a time, so we can give your dog(s) lots of attention and love. We do sometimes allow an overlap with another client's dog, but only if we know the dogs involved get along well. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. Just click on our profile pictures to see our "Doggie Hall of Fame" photos which show our care of our clients' dogs. We will follow your instructions, including for special needs, to make sure of your pet(s)’ total care and safety. We have a large and comfy single level home with 24/7 access to a large secure backyard and a doggie door. We will give potty breaks to those dogs that don't want to use the doggie door every couple of hours or as needed. We also have 24/7 video surveillance both inside and outside for their safety. Your dog(s) will have access to the entire house and is/are welcome to cuddle on the furniture, and can sleep in our bedroom in a doggie bed or crate, whichever your pet prefers. However, we do not allow dogs to sleep on our bed. Please let us know if you have any questions or special needs for your dog(s).

“Champ had a fun time with Sam and Genna! I plan on bringing him there again. He was worn out by the time we took him home! Thank you guys so much for having Champ yesterday.”

“Twin had a great time and was well cared for. Thanks for taking care of our pup on short notice. Appreciate all the communication as well. We'll book again next time we're in town.”

“This was a great experience!! He really listened to the needs I expressed and I felt really good about leaving my dogs with him. So much so that I booked another week.”
“Sarah was very considerate to my lil' puppers! She kept me updated through out the day with messages, pictures, and videos. They have a yard so my Tambi also had the chance to run around. They have one other dog that was very amicable towards my little one and overall I felt very comfortable leaving my Tambi with them for doggy daycare. Will definitely seeking their care again in the future!!”

“First time using Beth to dog sit and she is such a sweet lady and loves dogs! Extremely responsive and flexible. She’s so knowledgeable and attentive. And for our 1.5 year old German wire haired pointer - so patient! Highly recommend her!”

“Very easy to work with and she did everything to make our little one comfortable being at the sitters the first time. Truly wish she was in our area (we were traveling for this event) because we would absolutely use her again.”

“Phedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. She’s done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her again”

“Bre was great with both of our pups. They were worn out from playing so hard both days we picked them up. We will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we’re in the area & need a pup sitter. Thank you!”

“Had to find a last minute sitter for Blue during a roadtrip stop and Elise came through for us right away. LIFE SAVER. Blue can be a lot of energy and sometimes I feel guilty leaving him with someone because of that - but Elise was so welcoming. Blue practically jumped into her arms and she just laughed. Made me feel better immediately (and so welcomed). He played with some other dogs, she kept me updated throughout his time there, and I picked him up smiling, wagging his little tail, and tired out (which, YAY). Would book her again and again if I lived in the area!!”

“Skye and Nolan are fantastic! They took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved all the attention. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!”

About: I recently graduated with my MBA and, while I figure out what comes next professionally, I’m currently home full time. That means I’m able to spend plenty of time with my dogs and any dogs staying with me rather than being gone at work all day. I’ve always had dogs in my life, starting when I was a child, and I truly cannot imagine my life without them. Everyone knows that person who walks into a room and says hello to the dogs before the people. That’s me. I’m absolutely that person. I currently have four dogs of my own, so dogs are a pretty big part of everyday life in our house. I have a Pomeranian, a Husky mix, and two Chocolate Labs. My dogs love other dogs, and having dogs ranging from a little Pom to large, energetic dogs has given me plenty of experience with different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. My Pom is 17 now and has definitely earned the right to take life at his own pace. These days, that often means being carried around by me rather than walking everywhere himself. He also has his own smaller fenced area within our large fenced yard so he can enjoy being outside without having to deal with the bouncing energy of the bigger dogs. If a visiting dog needs a little more peace and quiet outside, they are welcome to share his area too. Not every dog wants to be in the middle of the action all the time, and that’s perfectly fine here. For the dogs who DO want to be in the middle of the action, there is plenty of room in our large fenced yard to run, play, explore, or just hang out. And if your dog needs daily walks, I’m your girl! Mine insist on them, so walking is already part of my everyday routine. My Pom makes it about half a mile, my Husky gets around 2.5 miles, and my two Chocolate Labs need at least 3 miles. I walk all four separately, so everyone gets individual time and a walk that actually fits their needs. Adding another walk or two for a visiting dog is no problem, whether they need a long walk to burn off some energy or a short leisurely one to sniff everything along the way. Your dog will fit right in. Inside, there are dog beds and blankets throughout the house, although our dogs are also welcome to sleep with us. Basically, they sleep wherever they decide they are most comfortable. I want a dog staying with us to feel comfortable too, so I’m happy to follow what they are accustomed to at home as much as possible. I also take mealtimes seriously. Our Husky and Pomeranian eat separately, while our two Labs are comfortable eating together. Visiting dogs are typically fed separately from our dogs so everyone can relax and enjoy their meal without competition or unnecessary stress. Depending on the dog, that may be as simple as eating across the room or having a baby gate between them. I adjust based on the individual dogs involved because their comfort and safety matter more than having one rule that every dog has to follow. Some people might say my dogs are spoiled rotten. I prefer to say they are extremely well loved, and that is exactly how I treat the dogs who stay with me. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs, from seniors who prefer a quieter pace to younger dogs with energy to spare. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs who may need a little extra attention. Whether your dog is staying for daycare or boarding, I know how important it is to feel confident about the person caring for them. When a dog stays with me, they aren’t treated like a guest I’m watching. They’re treated like part of the family until their family comes back to get them. I am currently home full time, so I have lots of time to spend with my dogs and yours! My life is sincerely built around the happiness and comfort of my babies, and yours when they are with me. Our days already include individual walks, outside time, playtime, meals, plenty of attention, and, of course, lots of lounging and snuggles. Because I’m home, I also have the flexibility to adjust my routine to what your dog is used to. If they normally eat at a certain time, need multiple walks, take medication on a schedule, need more frequent potty breaks, or simply want someone nearby, I can accommodate that. Your dog doesn’t have to adjust to my schedule. As much as possible, I’ll adjust my schedule to theirs. We have a large, fully fenced yard with a smaller fenced area within it for little dogs or dogs who just want some peace and quiet. That way, if the big dogs are running around playing and being their usual goofy selves, the smaller or less energetic dogs don’t have to worry about getting run over! Visiting dogs are welcome to use whichever area makes them most comfortable. We also have multiple dog doors, so dogs can come and go as they need or want rather than having to wait for someone to let them outside. Since I’m home full time, I’m here to keep an eye on everyone throughout the day. I pay attention to each dog and what makes them comfortable. Dogs can be together when they enjoy each other’s company, but I also have plenty of space to separate them when someone needs a break. Meals are typically separated as well, either with physical space or a baby gate, so everyone can eat comfortably and safely without worrying about another dog getting into their food. My own dogs range from a 17 year old Pomeranian to a Husky mix and two Chocolate Labs, so I’m very accustomed to managing different sizes, ages, energy levels, and needs under one roof. I don’t expect every dog to behave or interact the same way. I’d rather adjust the environment to the dog and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’ll follow your routines and house rules. My goal is to keep things as familiar as possible for your dog while you’re away, because sometimes the best way to help them feel safe is simply to keep their world as normal as possible.
About: I have 20+ years of experience caring for dogs plus cats, goats, birds and small animals. I previously owned Bon Jour Pet Sitters and managed a Veterinary Hospital for 7 years. I am comfortable administering medication and loving on special needs pets. I am home all day if you are boarding your dog with me, I won’t take any jobs outside of my house so I can give your babies all my attention. I have a large fenced yard with lots of room to play. I also have 2 pug pups that LOVE having new dog friends! My dogs can have as little or as much interaction with your dog(s) as you would like. Your dogs are also welcome to hangout on the couch and watch tv if that’s more their speed.

About: For more than 40 years, I’ve loved and cared for dogs and cats of my own. After my last Boxer passed away in 2022, I found a new way to share that love by caring for—and spoiling—the pets of others. I’ve provided excellent pet- and housesitting services on TrustedHousesitters in the Boise area for the past year, earning 20 five-star reviews. Many of my sits have been with repeat hosts, which reflects the trust and dependable care I provide. My experience includes dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, fish, reptiles, and even beetles. Before moving to Boise, I spent 14 years fostering dogs and providing pet-sitting services in the Atlanta area. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to follow instructions carefully while providing plenty of attention, patience, playtime, and affection. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked as a project manager in the technology industry. As I transition into a more personally fulfilling career, I’m excited to devote more time to animals and give your pets the same thoughtful, reliable care I would want for my own. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and thoroughly spoiled while you’re away. I currently work full-time as a pet sitter, so caring for pets is my primary focus. I’m able to organize my schedule around each client’s needs and your pet’s established routine. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and overnight stays. I offer flexible availability throughout the day and night, including 24/7 overnight care, and I’ll work with you to create a dependable schedule that helps your pet feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I care for every pet as if they were my own, with a strong focus on safety, trust, and consistency. I carefully follow your instructions and make sure your pet’s individual needs, routines, feeding schedules, medications, and preferences are respected. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home, taking them on a walk, or enjoying outdoor exercise together, I remain attentive to their surroundings and comfort. I take safety precautions during every visit and activity so your pet can feel secure and relaxed in your absence. You can count on me to provide dependable, thoughtful care while treating your home and your pet with the same respect I would expect for my own.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for years. As well as house sat for a friend who owns a farm, caring for her numerous animals. Hi! I currently work at 9 AM to 5 PM job and can make it home around 12 PM to 1 PM for a lunch break to take the dog to the bathroom and/or a walk. I am fully available on Fridays, as I work remotely. This would make it so the dog will go 4 hours between potty breaks Monday-Thursday. I have full availability on the weekends. I have a beautiful fenced in backyard with plenty of space for a dog to run around safely. We board dogs often and have puppy proofed it for safety.

“Wendee was an amazing sitter/walker. She’s friendly and communicative! We needed a drop in visit while we were on vacation in the area and Wendee did an amazing job! I could tell our pup really enjoyed her company. 10/10 would recommend!!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, and more. At one point we even had 7 dogs at once! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients have trusted me with their pets. I’ve been boarding and caring for dogs through Rover for over 3 years and truly love what I do. I’ve also spent time learning from professional dog trainers, which helped teach me proper handling, walking, and understanding different dog temperaments and behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two boys, who are now a little older and very used to being around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles throughout their stay. My husband and I are both huge animal lovers, and our home is very dog-friendly and relaxed. We have a fully fenced yard, two friendly dogs, and lots of space for your pup to feel comfortable and at home. I can also crate your dog if requested or follow any specific routines you have for them. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here because we believe pets are family too! I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always do my best to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos during their stay. I’m a stay-at-home mom with two young boys who are now older and very comfortable around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. Your pup will get lots of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. We live a pretty home-based lifestyle and don’t travel often, so I’m able to provide a consistent and reliable environment for the dogs in my care. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and two friendly dogs who love having company. I’m experienced with different dog personalities and always do slow introductions to help everyone feel comfortable. About: With previous volunteer and dog boarding experience, I have substantial hands-on experience in pet care, including training, playgroups, and medication administration across both young and senior stages. I am excited to offer dedicated and compassionate care for your pets, treating them with the same love and attention I give my own. PLEASE NOTE: My young daughter, who is nearly 3 often accompanies me on bookings. She’s gentle and used to being around animals. About: Growing up with a variety of dogs and cats, I’ve always had a hands-on approach to caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience in everything from basic care and grooming to managing special needs for both puppies and senior pets. What really sets me apart as a sitter is my background in dog training—while raising puppies of my own, I completed training courses to ensure they developed good behavior and essential skills. Whether it’s reinforcing commands, managing energy levels, or providing gentle care for older pets with unique needs, I’m comfortable adapting to each animal’s personality and requirements. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where your pets can thrive while you’re away! As a full-time college student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to devote to your pet’s care. I attend only one in-person class for 50 minutes twice a week, with the rest of my classes being online and remote. This allows me to be home for most of the day, ensuring your pet gets the attention and care they need. I'm also an active person and make it a priority to get outside for walks every day, so I’m always happy to take your dog for a stroll or play with your pet in the yard. Whether it's feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, pet care easily fits into my daily routine! When caring for pets in my home or yours, your pets safety and your trust in me are my top priorities. At my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure spaces for your pet to explore and relax. I keep hazards like toxic plants, choking risks, and dangerous chemicals out of reach. My home is calm, clean, and cozy—perfect for a pet to feel safe and at ease while you're away. If I’m caring for your pet in their own home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain their routine and environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure. I keep open communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos so you can trust that your pet is happy, healthy, and well cared for at all times.
