About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 friendly dogs (lab and border collie mix) to keep your furry loved one company! I also play music often for myself and for the dogs. I find it helps soothe some anxiety for them as well!
About: Taking a break from being a pet foster to pet sit again. I was a vet tech for 8 years and I have owned pets for 30 years. I can administer any medications needed. I will also watch dogs that have behavioral issues and I have no breed restrictions. My schedule provides the ability to watch puppies and provide them with the frequent play and bathroom breaks they need. I can also take your pet to any appointments they may have while you are out of town. I am unable to watch pets in my home. I will take your dog on hikes with me if you want or will take them on a stroll in your neighborhood. My work allows me to work from home so when I am pet sitting, I am able to spend a lot of time with your pet. When I am taking care of someone's pet, I treat them as if they were my own. I know that keeping their routine helps to minimize any stress of their owner being away.

About: Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I've had cats since birth, cared for large dogs for the past 10 years, and have owned snakes and other reptiles for more than 20 years. This experience has given me a great understanding of the unique needs, personalities, and behaviors of many different types of pets. About: I have always loved animals! I have grown up with dogs and cats in my house my whole life and cared for them. I have dog sat, taken dogs on walks, volunteered at shelters, etc! I will never do something I feel uncomfortable with and this includes keeping the safety of myself and your pet as the main priority.
About: I have been dog sitting for my neighbors and family members for around 2 years now. I love taking care of animals and making sure they are being well treated when being cared for. I'm great with walking all kinds of dogs weather they are older and need to walk slower or fast past hyper dogs. I'm also great at looking after cats feeding and playing with them. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
