About: What does your cat need? Food? I know I'm little more than opposable thumbs that know where the kibble and treats live. Play? I'm fully prepared to run around with a string and congratulate the kitty on catching me. Meds? Swaddle. No matter what is needed, I will read the cat's behavior to respect their boundaries. I pet them only when invited to do so by the cat. Hissing can be waited out or skirted around. I have no desire to make a cat's day worse.

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I try not to have more than an hour of meetings in a row, and regularly take breaks throughout the day to play outside. I have a fenced yard and a 1.5 year old Australian cattle dog mix, Pepperjelly, that wants to play and nap with your dog! About: I have taken care of my family’s pets as well as friends and neighbors pets for most of my life because of how much I love animals. I worked in a pet grooming salon for a few years and besides leaning the skills of grooming pets, I also learned to treat their owners with the same amount of care. About: I’ve always grown up with pets in the house and we’ve had dogs in all ranges from chihuahuas to siberian huskies! I trained all three of our huskies to sit, shake, lay down, pray, roll over, etc. They are also all leash trained. My cats are fed twice daily so I definitely understand the importance of keeping a routine with pets! We are fortunate to have an automatic litter box, but I truly don’t mind cleaning litter boxes/picking up after pets. My cats have been trained to stay off furniture in my home and are leash trained to go on walks with me. I am working part time and taking online classes so I would love to get out and go for walks or have dogs come hang out with my and my puppy (Juno)! We have a nice size backyard that is all fenced in and another friendly dog to keep your dog company! Our dog was used in evaluations for new dogs at her daycare, and gets along with everyone!
About: I have worked at a boarding facility for three years. I currently work at an animal emergency facility and have been here for 2 years. I love animals and caring for them is my calling. I am well trained in dealing with emergency, animal nutrition, can trim nails and do basic grooming of pets as well! I am very flexible and am able to juggling my responsibility as needed. I do work as a veterinary assistant but I have a set schedule that allows me to be work another job. I have a create if needed. I have cat and dog proofed my home. I have a quiet room for birds and rodents if need be that away from the fur babies. I leash walk dogs only. I am willing to leash walk cats but only by request. I live by the Jackson Frazier Wet lands so walking dogs there is always a nice walk for them and me.

About: Animal care has been a part of my whole life. I've always had a pet, whether they were cats or dogs. No matter the size, age, or breed of the pet, I understand to respect their boundaries and be mindful of their safety. Spoiling and playing with pets is the easiest task on the planet. I'm a part-time college instructor. My hours are extremely flexible, so I can happily take a break from grading to pop in for a pet. I first and foremost will defer to the owner's instructions and requests. For pop in care, I will check basic needs first: food/water/litter box/potty breaks. Then comes socializing or any other request from the owner. Weather permitting, I like to take dogs out for fetch, chase, tug-a-war, or casual walks. What we do is sometimes determined by the breed of dog. For cats, I understand that play is up to them. I'm happy to engage in any way they prefer. My own cat is a fiend for a string.
About: Whether your pup is young and full of energy or on the older, calmer side of life and likes to lounge, I am your woman! I currently provide daily care for my friends 7 year old Shih Tzu mix, as well as my neighbors 4 year old Husky. I would say I definitely understand Dogs more than I do people. I love talking to them, taking them for long walks, playing fetch and teaching them new tricks. I am also a Cat lover! Whether that means multiple potty breaks, long walks, playtime, medication, or overnight house sitting, my goal is to keep their day as normal as possible while you're away. For house sitting, I can often spend the majority of the day with your pet if that's something they'd benefit from. If I'll need to step away, I'll always communicate that with you beforehand so there are no surprises. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Before every booking, I take time to learn their normal schedule, favorite activities, medications, feeding routine, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable while you're away. I'm especially patient with shy or nervous pets and understand that some animals need a little extra time to warm up to someone new. I never rush interactions and always let pets build trust at their own pace. During walks and visits, I'm careful about securely attaching leashes before opening doors, checking gates, and paying close attention to my surroundings. In your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, following your instructions carefully and making sure everything is secure before I leave. You'll also receive regular updates and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
