“Hilary was communicative by sending a message when she was going to be about 15 min late to a drop in which is no big deal because we didn't need exact times, but I appreciate her letting me know, regardless. She was also flexible when I needed to push our first drop in time back a few hours because we left later than we thought. Our dog and cat were well taken care of despite the fact that our animals were a bit gruffy about having a stranger drop in. The only thing I would change is I wish we got more pictures, but that is something I could have communicated more before we left, so it's no big deal. I also appreciated her doing a meet and greet beforehand and she was very sweet with our pup during that time. Thanks so much for watching them - especially with all the snow we got!”

About: I have had animals my entire life! Mostly dogs that have lived well into their teens, but also cats. Most recently I had my dog Bella for over 12 years and the last 3 we traveled the country try between Seattle and Miami by car. She unfortunately passed due to cancer and not ready to own an animal, but still love having them around . I am great at playing with animals to keep them engaged and teaching commands. I also can accommodate animals to their needs if they need medicine or special assistance. I work from home for an agency based in Los Angeles. This means that your animal wouldn’t need to be locked up all day if they stay at my house my flexible schedule also also allows me to add walks in the day and play time so your dog isn’t in a crate all day. I also have a yard big enough for throwing sticks for added fun! I do have a fenced in yard that would allow for your dog to run around. I also wouldn’t mind going to someone’s house if I needed to as well as I am mobile.

About: As cliche as it sounds, taking care of pets isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. Since I was little, I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds – from snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and dogs of all sizes, to fish and cats, including elderly pets.🐶🐍🐰🐢🐱 I’ve been there for potty training, administering medication, grooming, scheduled feedings, and maintaining teeth hygiene. To me, animals are pure and down-to-earth, and deserve the same respect ❤️ I don’t do this just for the money – I do it because I genuinely care about animals. I’ve heard too many sad stories about boarding pets somewhere, not getting the care they deserve, and the excessive costs involved, and I want to change that. This home is as much theirs as it is mine. I offer a six-foot fully gated yard, big enough for several animals to bask in the sun or play with toys.🌤️ I have several dog beds (and furniture) with enough space to care for your babies. Even the smaller critters or pets that aren’t cats and dogs! I recently used Rover myself and was initially skeptical, worried, and just overall leery about the situation. 😅But it turned out to be a wonderful experience, and now I want others to have the same peace of mind and enjoyment. I want pet owners to feel confident that their animals are in good hands so they can truly relax and enjoy their own vacation, knowing their pets are having a great time too.☺️ And if I could, I’d give myself five out of five stars, rated highly by Forbes ⭐️for providing top notch safety and security to help ease your pet’s separation from you while you’re away. It’s a big decision to make who you can trust your animals with, and I am happy to help 🫶 The question is how do I fit pet care into my routine- but I don’t “fit it” into my routine. I follow my animals routine, and what they need to be their best self. I am make it a priority on managing potty breaks, feedings, treats, and everything in between. It especially helps that I am home most of my days, and wouldn’t mind more company ☺️ It’s not that I just want to “provide care.” I feel like anyone could do that, but it’s more of bonding with that animal. It’s learning their needs, routine, and having patience with them. My goal is for them to not view me as a complete stranger, and more as a good friend to have 💕With that being said- I would love to take your dog on a walk, feed them, grooming, playing, and giving all the love they deserve! If there is good communication and understanding, I would be happy to help with proper medication or medical needs as well 🩷

About: As someone who works in the pet care industry and has three dogs of my own, caring for animals is a huge part of my life. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to senior dogs needing extra comfort and attention, and I always strive to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I work full time in the pet care industry, so caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life! With at least a week’s notice, I’m able to make my schedule flexible to best meet the needs of your pet and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I currently offer care within my client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I know how important consistency can be for animals, especially for shy pets, seniors, or pets who may become stressed in new environments. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, personality, and comfort needs to help them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. About: My love of animals led me to start volunteering at a veterinarian‘s office giving baths and cleaning cages when I was 15. I have fostered dogs (of all ages, sizes and breeds) and cats (mostly kittens) for animal rescues. I volunteered at a large animal rescue helping with horses, goats, donkeys, and cows. I have a passion for animals! Personally, I have had Guinea pigs, chickens, cats, dogs, fish, and a horse. Currently I have a pug, a cat, and a very lazy guinea pig. I have a nice big fenced in backyard for off leash playtime and a good neighborhood/trails for longer walks. I have two children who have grown up around all manner of animals and enjoy interacting and playing with dogs and cats in particular. I work a 8-5 job Monday through Thursday. Fridays are a short day for me so I’m able to take boarders starting Thursday evenings. Friday they’d be alone for 6 hours at the longest. Saturday and Sunday they would only be left for a couple hours at the most as I am home during the weekends. I have a large fenced yard with a tall fence. My cat is acclimated to dogs and does well with other cats. My kids have always had animals in their life and know how to interact with new animals appropriately.

About: I’ve had pets around for as long as I can remember. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I even have training experience with puppies. I have also taken care of special needs dogs before, including an epileptic dog, so I have lots of experience with animals that have special needs . I also worked at a wildlife rehab this past summer so I have experience with proper administration of eye meds, oral meds, and SQ injections in mammals. My family fosters dogs so I am familiar with all sorts of dogs. I’m currently a college student home for break. I’m majoring in fisheries and wildlife at UNL and plan to work in an animal related field in the future. I will have lots of time to care for all of your pets. I do have my own kitty at home, so I just need to make sure I have enough time to take care of him twice daily. I will mostly be focusing on your pets and what they need as this is my main summer job for now. I have house sat for clients and family/friends for years. I will be sure to do whatever it takes to fulfill your pet’s needs while you are away, keeping them happy, healthy, and safe.
