“Tamar’s house is a well oiled machine. She is prepared for all different types of dogs - from temperament to breed/size. I dropped off 2 active border collies and picked up 2 very calm, exercised pups. Very grateful and will definitely be coming back!”

“I’m a repeat client of Chuk’s and couldn’t be happier with the care she provides for my senior dog. She’s incredibly kind, communicative, and always goes out of her way to make sure my dog is comfortable and well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing my pup is in such good hands. Chuk is also very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter!”

About: Thank you for viewing my profile. Please read it in its entirety before sending a boarding request, as a lot of your questions can be answered in the text. The two questions i get the most are am I home all day with the dogs and how many dogs do you watch at one time? I am retired so except for running errands, etc, your dog(s) will be supervised at all times.I DO watch dogs from different households at the same time, having had as many as 8 Rover dogs at once If this is a concern I invite you to come down and meet us, to see how mellow and manageable it is, and how happy the dogs are to be in the company of other dogs. I never watch a dog without meeting it first so this ensures that everyone gets along and it's a good fit. My mom runs a no-kill animal shelter in Florida so I guess you could say it's in my blood. I currently have 2 dogs (the last dog i adopted was from an elderly Rover client who could no longer take care of him) but i've had as many as 4 at one time. Always small dogs, which is what I'm most comfortable with. I've adopted, loved and cared for dogs through all their stages of life, in "sickness and in health", so I'm quite aware of the quirkiness that comes with a dog that has a history. At the moment I’m not boarding puppies because my older dogs can’t handle all the high energy of the youngsters. Nothing brings me more joy than watching these little dogs come out of their shell during the stay. Their tail going from tucked, unsure, "what am I doing here", to full wag! Many owners have told me that when they get to the top of my hill their dog starts getting excited, they know they're coming to my house and they are happy about it. They march right up my steps with zero hesitation. They might not sleep with us on day one, but they almost always find their way into the bed by the time they leave. My goal is to have them feel like one of the pack, loved and secure, safe and happy. I recently retired after 40+ years in the hospitality industry so I will be home with your dog(s) day and night. There's nothing i love more than being in the company of dogs, so watching them is my passion. I will treat your dog(s) like my own. I live in the Arroyo's, a private beach neighborhood in Arbor Heights, West Seattle. I have a gate on the front door so the dogs can't run out if the door opens, though there's hardly any traffic where I live. I have a fully fenced in backyard, perfect for potty breaks and sunbathing. Your dog will never be left unattended in the yard .Inside I have dog beds throughout the house that move with the sunspot. I have cameras to watch the dogs when i'm not home (spoiler alert, they sleep), and WE HAVE AC!

“So so sorry for picking up Lulu late! Was hoping to leave Canada earlier, but wedding fittings took longer than expected. Thank you so much for watching Lu today!!! It was such a long day, but she looked so happy from the photos you sent throughout the day. She’s a happy and tired pup!! Thank you!!!”

“Kyle is wonderful! Gridley loves going to hang out with him and I can tell he's well cared for. A bonus is Kyle is fantastic with communicating, sends updates and photos, is very personable. That makes the experience great for me. We've used him several times and look forward to our next visit. So glad we found him! Gridley and I both give him 5 stars!”

“Milo had a great stay with Christina! He enjoyed playing with her dogs Teddy and Bear. Christina sent lots of pictures and was so good to take him in with only a days notice. We look forward to Milo staying with her again.”

About: I’ve had multiple dogs in my lifetime, and also dog-sit occasional at their home. I don’t believe in rushing animals, nor do I want to take care of more than two at a time. I want each animal to have enough attention to build trust between us. I am currently working part time, primarily remote, and enjoy being out in my yard. The floor plan is pretty open, but can be gated if necessary. I have a house situated in a small neighbourhood with minimal through traffic. I am comfortable with crate trained pups, as well as free roaming. I have two indoor/outdoor cats that have some exposure to dogs. Additionally, I am near the airport with an outdoor parking space available that you can leave your car on and use a ride share service to the airport for a small fee. If your trip is less than a week it’s $25, and if it is over a week it’s $50. The goal of the monies from this arrangement will be put towards getting the yard securely fenced! :)

About: I've had dogs my whole life and had such a love for them. I have my 14 year old diabetic dog, Java, that has taught me much, helped me grow and made me experienced with senior and special needs dogs. Through my love and patience I will provide the best care for your baby while you are away and treat them like my own. I work full time but my schedule allows me to have long 3-5 day weekends. I'm usually home with my dog Java who is on a very fixed schedule to accommodate her special needs. We have a home with A/C that will keep your pets cool in the hot months. We also have a fenced yard so your dog can safely run and play. Our yard also connects to a public park that is great for dog walks.

“Alvin and Simone had a wonderful day at Sarah’s. The entire family welcomed them into their home. Sarah sent pictures updating as to how they were doing and my pups had doggy smiles on their faces. I will definitely use Sarah again.”

About: What truly sets me apart is my calm, steady presence and my firm but kind temperament — pets pick up on our energy, and I strive to create a safe, relaxed, and positive environment for every animal in my care. Whether I’m reassuring a nervous rescue, setting gentle boundaries for an excitable pup, or coaxing a shy kitty out for treats and snuggles, I approach every situation with patience, and warmth. I believe in treating every pet like family, learning their individual routines, preferences, and quirks so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry companions and give them the care and attention they deserve! Since I work from home, pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I’m able to attend to their needs as they arise and provide plenty of attention, potty breaks and walks throughout the day — not just during quick check-ins. I am available to care for your pet in my home or your home depending on the service requested. Whether in my home or yours, I will feed your pet according to their feeding schedule, provide fresh water at all times, engage in play with them and clean up after them. In my home I am able to provide a quiet, peaceful, pet-friendly environment with a large fenced in yard to run around in. Inside I love to draw the blinds and give pets a cozy spot by the window to sunbathe while watching the people, pets and wildlife pass by. It is my motto to leave a space better than you left it so while in your home I will not only follow all routines and procedures as needed but I also like to tidy up after the animals and provide photo updates to put you at ease.

About: Hi! I’m an animal lover at heart and will give your pet all the TLC :) I’ve had a variety of pets growing up and taken care of my family’s dogs for a number of years and have had cats of my own. I have experience taking care of and administering medicine to senior dogs and cats plus love to go on walks/runs with them. I promise to treat you pet with care and attention as if they were my own. Hi! I currently work from home as a contract worker so have a flexible schedule when my schedule permits to give love and care to you animal :) I am a true animal lover and am active so promise to be able to exercise, play, and love on your pet in addition to whatever else they need. I have a fenced in front and back yard as well as a cat at home, so if your pet is not cat friendly I will not be able to host but my yard is lovely for dogs and I have plenty of space :)

About: I have been a dog lover and farm girl my whole life growing up with 8 dogs, 5 cats, chickens, etc. has helped me with a wide range of animal skills and care. From labradors to dachshunds I have cared for dogs of all different shapes/sizes. I would love to meet you and your fur babies and promise to treat them as my own when they are in my care! My partner and I WFH so we have a lot of availablility. We have a sizable deck, backyard, and live right next to a dog friendly park. So your pup will have a lot of space to run around and get their play time in. I am pretty familiar with the Seattle area and will make sure your dogs are well cared for and in a safe environment. I have experience walking my own reactive rescue dog as well.

“Tyler and Alexis are great! Very flexible and responsive, a great space in their home an yard, and most importantly, great with all the dogs. They've done a great job with both of our dogs, both of whom have their quirks and challenges, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Donna was great with our two pups! She is flexible with pick up times, friendly, and sent us lots of updates. We appreciated the level of communication she offered, keeping us updated on both of our girls—especially since one of them can be very anxious when first meeting new sitters. They came home happy and healthy. We’re looking forward to booking Donna & Mushu again very soon!”

“Michael took really good care of our dog. He has a great backyard, fully fenced and secure. He took our dog out for a walk and was great with her leash anxieties. Michael is kind and accommodating.”

Angie was absolutely fabulous in her care for our dog for the day. She watched our dog, Bella, for the day and was very responsive. Angie let us know that Bella had a stomachache and diarrhea in her care and handled it very well even though that is definitely a less than desirable experience. I would definitely recommend Angie to others!
