About: I have a combination of professional animal-care experience and a genuine lifelong love for animals. I grew up with cats and dogs and have been pet sitting for family, friends, and others since I was a teenager. I volunteered with the ASPCA as a teen and later worked with Barn Hill Preserve, caring for multiple exotic animals at a time while traveling and helping teach children about animal care and conservation. I’ve also cared for three indoor bunnies who had their own dedicated half of the house! Most recently, I spent 9 months working at a veterinary hospital, where I gained experience caring for pets with many different personalities and needs. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and comfortable following detailed care instructions. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, elderly, or simply needs some extra love and reassurance, I’ll treat them like family and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available throughout the week, including weekends, and can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m happy to work around each pet’s individual routine and needs, and I enjoy having the flexibility to give them plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship. As my schedule changes in the future, I’ll make sure to keep my availability updated so I can always provide the level of care I promise. I believe the best pet care starts with understanding each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, playtime, and any special care their pet requires. I also pay close attention to behavior and look for anything unusual so I can keep owners informed. For pets in my care, I provide plenty of attention, affection, play, and companionship while respecting their boundaries and comfort levels. In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same care and respect I would want for my own home. My veterinary experience has taught me to be attentive to small changes in a pet’s behavior and wellbeing, and my goal is always for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their people are away.
