“Absolutely wonderful. Never had to worry about what my girls were up to to or how they were doing. Rachael kept me well informed while I was out of town. Definitely, I will schedule again.”

“Absolutely amazing! This was my first time trying Rover and I look forward to using it again! Christina was amazing and responded quickly to my very short notice request. She was loving and caring to my 2 cats and my crazy high energy German Shepard. 10/10 would book with her again and will recommend to any fur parents I know in the future!”

About: My own furry family consists of 3 wolverines (chihuahuas), 1 pit/boxer mix, 3 horses, 2 cats and a gaggle of happy, laying hens. As a lover of ALL animals, you can trust your furry family members to my care. I currently work in healthcare, and I am very blessed to work three days per week, leaving me with abundant free time to enjoy the outdoors. With a wide variety of animals, caring for them is of utmost importance. I remain knowledgeable in animal behaviors, wound management, illnesses and preventative vet care.
“Our kitties loved Tim, and they were very happy and calm when we returned home. He provided lots of play time for the younger cats, and lots of photos while we were away. I think they were disappointed it wasn't Tim when we walked in the door!”

“We love Ky!! She is very communicative, thoughtful, timely, polite, and amazing with our (crazy) puppy! Our pup loves when she comes over, she spends good quality time with her, and communicates very well with us throughout her visits. We will continue to book with Ky as long as she’s available! Highly recommend ⭐️”

“Kayla was great! She was friendly and immediately loved on our cat during our initial meet and greet! She was prompt with her drop ins and kept us well informed while we were away! Her report cards were fun to read and she always included great pics to let us know the cat was well taken care of!”

About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.

About: I’ve house sat, animal sat, and dog walked since I was a teen for friends and family. I grew up on a small farm in middle of nowhere Alaska, so I have gotten to experience taking care of multiple different types of animals. I love all furry friends and even have a cat of my own, her name is Nina she is 3 years old and my best friend. If you choose me to look after your fur pal, I promise to love and care for them as if they were my own! About: Although I am newer to professional pet sitting, I have always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for them. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to making sure pets feel comfortable and safe. I’m happy to follow any routines or instructions owners provide, whether that includes walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or giving extra attention to help pets feel at ease while their owners are away. I currently live in West Des Moines! But I’m usually running errands literally everywhere so I am super flexible! Ankeny, Des Moines, Pleasant Hill, Altoona, you name it! I am currently a student at Mercy College of Health Sciences, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I have availability during many weekdays and evenings and I’m happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their needs. I’m dependable and will make sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for every pet I care for. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and routines. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and comfort to ensure they feel safe and happy. Cleanliness, supervision, and respect for your home and your pet’s wellbeing are always my top priorities.
“Kal was amazing with our three dogs (and garden)! They came beforehand to meet the pups and us, and get familiar with the situation, which gave us such peace of mind during our trip. Then communicated during their multi-daily visits with texts and pictures. We'll definitely be booking Kal again and would recommend them to local friends/family!”
