“Theresa did a fantastic job caring for my two fur babies, Loki and Thor. She helped them settle in quickly, which was especially important since Loki struggles with separation anxiety. She kept me updated with frequent pictures, reassuring me that they were both happy and having fun. I would absolutely trust her with them again—it was like a vacation for them too!”

“When I picked up my furkids, they went straight to sleep. I guess that is a good indication that they had way too much fun at Tarina’s doggie playhouse. Will definitely be coming back. Tarina agreed to have a meet and greet prior reservation. Thank you, Tarina and Tony.”

About: Love many different types of animals and have pet sat for many people in my family over the years. From my experience every dog has liked me. I have minimal knowledge in training dogs. And can adapt my environment to fit the personality of the dog. Im currently in college, so Mondays-Thursdays are busy for me but I am almost always available Friday-Sundays. On the warmer days I like to go for a walk around the neighborhood and back. I have a fare sized fenced yard. A 8-year-old yorkie, he is very sweet and friendly with other dogs, not much of a barker. Two other reptiles locked in their tanks, the will never be a concern with them they are very small.
“Ashley&jerrell was GREAT, it was our 1st time leaving our pup for a couple days and they made it soooo easy, and comfortable for all of us. Too sending us pictures and videos and quick response when we wanted to know how he was doing. Overall just Great 🫶 thank you”

“She had done greet with our dog lili she is about a year and six months old no issues at all very knowledgeable of dogs in their situations as well as understanding their behavior with no issues she took care of my dog and my dog played with her dog so now my dog has a friend they went to the park together and everything and she bought my dog back, clean safe and sound no issues Thank you very much once again for watching her for the five days. It’s been great. We definitely use her again just for dog play dates. Also she’s amazing. Don’t hesitate.”

“Jessica was extremely accommodating and communicated regularly throughout our stay to make sure we felt comfortable and reassured. Our dog had lots of love and adventure and was tuckered out when we picked him up :)”

“Melissa was great with Lilly and very accommodating with our small change in the number of days that she was needed. She sent pictures so that I could see that my pup was getting along well with the other dogs that she had which I was worried about. It was clear that she loves dogs and had a good command of discipline them. I will use her again and recommend her to others. A big thank you!!”

“Jessica was great with my baby. She sent me pics. My baby looked happy from the meet and greet even when he went back 2weeks later like they never missed a bit. Jessica was attentive n lovable. Big thanks Jessica, he will be back. ❤️”

“Allison D was a great care giver for our Cricket. She played with, cuddled and entertained her and told us Cricket was well behaved and welcome to return if we needed care provided again in the future.”

“Thank you so much for taking such phenomenal care of Snoopy! You completely put our minds at ease from the start. The daily photo updates were great and put our minds at ease. It was clear that he was in good hands. Snoopy came home happy and relaxed and we will definitely be booking again!”

“My 6 year old Siberian Husky just had his first stay with Lynn "Beauty". I can't say enough good things about her. My dog is extremely shy and skiddish especially when around new people. She took the time to acclimate him to the new environment and allowed him to do what he needed to do to stay comfortable on his own terms. She sent me updates at least twice a day along with personalized photos which was very comforting to me as I always worry about my boy while I am gone. Their yard and home is amazing and perfect for boarding. If you are looking for a pet sitter that you can trust to take exceptional care of you dog, I strongly recommend Lynn "Beauty".”
“Wonderful experience! Julia and Jacob are quick to communicate, they sent pictures or videos every day, and our pup got tons of attention. He loved staying with them! We will definitely work with them again!”

“Chrissy continues to do a great job taking care of Sophie and adjusting to her medical needs. The past few visits Chrissy continues to provide incredible care for our fur-baby.”

“I've got two special needs dogs, both with vision problems, and one with epilepsy. Andrew took wonderful care of the dogs, was very communicative and sent pictures and videos where they looked happy every time. Can't recommend him enough.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Street
Megan and Vincent are truly amazing. As a large cane corso puppy with extreme energy, they did great with her and treatedher as if she was one of there own. We can tell she really enjoyed her stay. Thank you for watching Echo for us while we were on vacation. We will definitely be using them again! We were updated with multiple videos or pictures daily too.

We enjoyed the peace of mind that comes from knowing your 4 legged family member is supremely cared for, sleeps well and is having a blast in a mini farm like setting. These owners are experienced in dog, cat, bird, old, young, medicated pets and anxious pets. Highly recommend and will use again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
