“Mason was exceptional. She allowed me to book her literally last minute and said she could visit the pups without me home (emergency work trip). She was prompt and took great care of my pups, asking me any questions she had to best care for them. She sent me plenty of pics and the pups loved her!”

About: I have had dogs all of my life. From a German Shephard, to Labs, Goldens, Huskies, Shih Tzu, I have had them all. I have experience giving my Red Fox Lab, Big Boy Butters insulin shots, since he is diabetic. My Goldens, Maggie and Ollie, love playing tennis ball and going for walks. Daisy, my Shih Tzu, thinks that she is a Doberman even though she is only 15 pounds. They all love to wrestle. I have a fenced in yard where they can run freely. They enjoy their treats and all of the rubs they can handle. I also have experience with salt water/fresh water fish and reptiles. Just love animals. They are always happy to see you and they enjoy being loved. I am working full time but have an open ended schedule and am willing to make anything work. I can either come to you or willing to have your pets stay with me. I have 3 teenagers that also love dogs that are willing to help out. Your pets will not be ignored and will get plenty of attention. I have a fenced in yard. I have two goldens, a lab, and a shih tzu currently if your pets would be coming here. I can also stay at your house to take care of your pets. Can make anything work. I have had dogs/cats/fish and reptiles for over 50 years so I have plenty of experience. Butters, my Red Fox Lab, is diabetic so I also have experience with medication and insulin shots.
“Madison did a great job with our cats, Misty and Fae - they were in good hands. We received good communication and enjoyed the pictures. We hope she can care for our kitties again!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple different animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and bunnies. I have experience with young kittens, even syringe or bottle feeding. I’m a fast learner and love all animals and I would be happy to take care of your beloved pets! Home from college for the summer with all the time on the world to take care of your animals! Any day or time works for me! I will play, pet, and cuddle your pets all day long! I love going on walks and enjoying the fresh air with your furry friends!
About: Love many different types of animals and have pet sat for many people in my family over the years. From my experience every dog has liked me. I have minimal knowledge in training dogs. And can adapt my environment to fit the personality of the dog. Im currently in college, so Mondays-Thursdays are busy for me but I am almost always available Friday-Sundays. On the warmer days I like to go for a walk around the neighborhood and back. I have a fare sized fenced yard. A 8-year-old yorkie, he is very sweet and friendly with other dogs, not much of a barker. Two other reptiles locked in their tanks, the will never be a concern with them they are very small.

About: I have always loved taking care of dogs and helping my neighbors by dog sitting, so I have experience feeding, walking, playing with, and giving lots of attention to dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, and good at making animals feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. As a college student home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Since I don’t have a strict daily routine right now, I’m able to work around different pet care needs, whether that includes morning walks, afternoon check-ins, evening care, or overnight stays. I enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care fits naturally into my routine and gives me something I genuinely enjoy doing while I’m home for the summer. I make sure any animal feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I follow any instructions given by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and overall routines to help pets feel more relaxed while their owners are away. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while keeping their environment clean and safe. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, so I always try to be patient, attentive, and caring with each animal.
“Kaylie was a wonderful dog sitter. One of our dogs can be cautious with new people, and Kaylie was patient, caring, and attentive, which helped our dog feel comfortable. She communicated very well throughout our time away and sent many pictures that were reassuring and appreciated. We’re grateful for the thoughtful care she provided and would happily book with her again.”

“We hope that Danielle can continue to help us out with our dog. She was very responsive to our inquiries and made our first time using Rover a breeze. She took great care of our dog and we felt at ease going away for the weekend knowing Danielle was watching our pup!!”

“Rachel was super wonderful with our pups for our trip away. We have one high energy guy and one special needs pup and she was extremely attentive. We'll definitely ask to use again.”

“Keren helped us out in a bind with very little notice. Having her come to let out and feed our dogs was extremely helpful while we were away for a wedding. The dogs quickly adjusted to her and we highly recommend her!”
“Louis was able to help me out last minute with my elderly/special needs cats. He understood directions quickly and left things better than he found. Grateful to have the help.”

About: I stand out because of my lifelong experience growing up with animals of all kinds, including horses, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. I also worked at a pet hotel, where I cared for puppies and anxious dogs who missed their families, so I understand how to keep pets calm, comfortable, and happy. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with different temperaments and needs. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, giving me even more hands-on experience with a wide range of animals. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily schedule because I’m currently taking a year off before starting grad school. This gives me plenty of time and flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care. I’m available Monday through Sunday, and can accommodate visits throughout the day to fit your pet’s needs. I provide care through in-home visits, as I do not host pets in my own home due to my cat not being comfortable around new animals. In my clients’ homes, I focus on keeping pets in their familiar environment and routine to reduce stress. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, playtime, and any needed exercise. I’m also very attentive to their behavior and comfort, especially for shy or anxious pets, and always make sure they feel safe, calm, and well cared for while you’re away.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Street stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Street choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Street with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
