“I simply cannot say enough about what a wonderful caregiver Kim was while my family and I left town recently. She sent daily updates with pictures that allowed us to see how well our kitty was doing. She cleaned up the area and kept him entertained and fed. Her loving demeanor also ensured he was calm and free of anxiety. We have found our “go to” caregiver from this point forward. She is absolutely wonderful!”

6. Emily F.
About: I’ve worked with animals for as long as I can remember! I worked at Dogtopia Purcellville managing 20 to 30 dogs in a playroom by myself. I have a Siberian husky of my own so I have plenty of experience with high energy dogs. I’ve been pet sitting since I was eight, with all sorts of animals. I’ve had birds in the past and currently have a leopard gecko and bearded dragon so I have firsthand experience with that. I would be up to helping pet sit those kinds of animals as well! I will be doing this full-time! I’m available any day of the week to provide care. I offer boarding throughout the week as well with two weeks notice! Pets are treated like family in my household; They are allowed on furniture unless client specifies otherwise for training purposes. Dogs are crated at night and cats are shut in a specific room just for safety at night. I have a relatively large fenced in yard where dogs will be allowed out with supervision!

7. Megan S.

“Megan was an amazing dog sitter! I would 100% recommend her and will be using her again in the future. She kept me well informed and took excellent care of my very old dog and 2 cats. She came through for us on very short notice and saved the day. Thank you Megan!!”

8. Jennifer L.
“Jen is great with all pets and her professionalism is outstanding. She's truly one of the friendliest people I know. She's reliable, consistent, and so eager to care for the animals around her. I've never seen an animal not eager to love and play with her. I can trust her with my dog for extended periods of time. It's clear she not only loves and cares for animals of all kinds, but understands their needs and emotions better than anyone I know, and I couldn't recommend her enough.”

9. Darian C.

“We had an amazing experience with Darian! She did a phenomenal job caring for our dogs while we were out of town. We felt reassured from the moment we left knowing they were in good hands. She went above and beyond—keeping us updated with photos and messages, ensuring they stuck to their routines, and showing them so much love and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared for our pups, and we returned to find them happy and well cared for. We couldn't have asked for better care, and we will absolutely book her again in the future! Highly recommend! 🐾”

10. Cat K.

“Cat is the best! Our dog and cat love her and she’s incredibly reliable. We’re so happy to have her as our pet sitter while we’re on vacation!”

11. Sara G.
About: I currently work part-time and am looking to dog sit/house sit on the side. I am very good with dogs and enjoy playing with them and taking care of them. I take care of people’s dogs as if they were my own. I take them for walks, exercise them, let them out for bathroom breaks, and feed and water them all while helping take care of the owners house while they are away on vacation, work trip, etc. I water plants for the people I have house sit for and can mow grass as well if the mower isn’t a zero turn mower. I’m very responsible and always make sure everything is nice and orderly for when owners return home to their pets after vacation

12. Colleen D.
“Colleen is very good with our cats. We have 4 elderly cats and she checks that each one is well before she leaves. She checks on our cats twice a day while we are away, and send video and picture updates letting us know how they are doing. As we have elderly cats, a lot of them come with medication. She is precise is giving them their medication and keeps logs to make sure all cats are on track. She is friendly and warm with the cats and they all have come to know her and even our shyest cat will come out for her. I highly recommend Colleen as a pet sitter.”

13. Juliet H.

“Juliet was perfect and took amazing care of our two cats while on a vacation. She gave them lots of attention and it was nice to know they were taken care of while away. The rover cards gave us pictures and little updates which were great! It’s difficult to let someone you don’t know come in your house and watch your animals but we felt comfortable and trusting with Juliet and definitely recommend her.”

14. Nikita Z.

“Nikita is a GREAT sitter. Really helped me out when I needed someone to watch my puppy last minute. Also helped in training!”

“As her mother, I've always taught her to do everything to her best ability, be proud and have great work ethic. She is responsible, dependable, trustworthy and a great caregiver to animals. She worked at Creature Comfort Inn till she began an apprenticeship recently. Besides our own two cats, she also loves taking care of dogs and other exotic pets.”
