About: I am a responsible, reliable, and intuitive dog lover, who will care for your dog as if they were my own. I understand the importance of showing up when scheduled and tailoring the service to your dog's individual needs. I grew up with family dogs since birth, and have cared for my own dogs over the past 20 years. I started my own professional dog walking and sitting business in 2018. I have experience with many different breeds, ages, and abilities. Through my dog walking business, I also have extensive experience walking small groups of dogs off-leash in nature. If you are interested in this service, I have two female golden retrievers who would be thrilled to join your dog on an adventure hike, providing enrichment, socialization, fun, and lots of exercise! I've recently relocated to Strafford, NH so I'm looking forward to building my clientele in a new area! I serve the Southern Lakes Region of NH. Please note: -Boarding and Sitting Nightly Rates include potty breaks in the morning and evening, as well as a 30 minute drop-in visit or private walk midday. Additional time for the midday walk, adventure hikes, or additional walks may be added on at a discounted rate. Dog care is my full-time job and life! Drop-In Visits & Walks: I'm available Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, for walks and drop-in visits, with some after-hours availability on an as-needed basis (please note, after hours requests may incur an additional fee). Overnight Sitting & Boarding: Available 7 days/week. Since I care for many dogs during the week, your dog may be hanging out at home for a period of time while I walk other dogs or run errands. Other than that, I'll be home with your dog! Your dog will be treated the same as my dogs, and that means they will be the center of my attention! Boarding: This is a very calm and quiet household (with the exception of some barking) - no kids. My two female golden retrievers (2yrs & 10yrs) are allowed on our couches, so yours would be too if you allow it. Your dog is welcome to sleep in my husband's and my bedroom, or downstairs in the living room/kitchen if they prefer a cool tile/wood floor. Free-range dogs are welcome and crate training is not required unless your dog is destructive or unsafe when left unattended. Please bring your dog's crate if needed, as well as their bed, food, and any other items they may need. We have a fenced in yard to let them out for potty-breaks and to play with each other as well. Overnight Sitting: I have many years of experience staying in clients' homes with their dogs. In addition to caring for your dog(s), I'm happy to take in mail/packages and water house plants. If you want, I can even bring one or both of my dogs with me to provide socialization and companionship.

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. I now have a 4 year old dog who I've raised since she was 9 weeks old, and an 11 year old rescue kitty. I'm very active with animals, providing love, exercise, basic training, and mental stimulation. I work part time and homeschool my kids full time. I am happy to help with walks, board as needed, and of course do house visits for cats (or potty stops for dogs!). I have a fenced in yard and a one level apartment. “Courtney. Is. Great. This was the first time leaving Albie with anyone outside of family so I was pretty nervous. We went over for a meet & greet and I felt good about her right away. She is super warm and kind and her home was the perfect calm, low-key environment for my old guy. She asked a lot of questions and made me feel confident that she was going to take good care of him. Courtney sent the cutest photos while we were away, it was nice to see how relaxed and happy he was. Albie is our *everything* and I am usually pretty anxious about him... I honestly didn't worry about him at all. I wouldn't have minded knowing more about his day-to-day but I didn't want to be "that" pet parent and ask a bunch of questions. I knew he was in great hands though and I'm sure she would have been patient with my helicopter parenting, haha. So, yes, we would absolutely trust Courtney with Albie again. I highly recommend her (and Frito!)”
