Bean is a really social cat, compared to previous cats I've had, and Bo is great at listening to what Bean needs each visit and communicating how he is doing when I check in. Also really great at pictures! It's always great to be able to check in with the photos later when I am 5 hours ahead and missed a check in, to see a silly photo of my cat playing.”

For two years now I have thoroughly enjoy helping friends, family, and neighbors with their pet needs while they’re away by checking in, feeding them, cleaning after the pets, and playing with them. I am currently working part time on weekends, only picking extras shifts at the hospital periodically during the week, so I have plenty of time to check-in and take care of your beloved pet. I often times can stop by before or after work as well should it fit your needs. I always start by letting pets warm up to me while offering g a treat or favorite toy for break the ice. I make sure the front door is closed behind me while keeping an eye on pets to ensure they don’t get outside when coming and going. I train dogs to be Service and Assistance dogs for our veterans and special needs families in our local community. I love all Animals, especially Dogs and Horses. I personally have German Shepherds. I have yet to meet an animal that did not either take a liking to me instantly or come to trust me over time. Some are that broke and have been failed so horribly, my heart weeps for them. I ONLY use fear-free, marker-based positive reinforcement training methods. I am a disabled veteran myself and working with dogs is a labor of love for me. Because of COVID and being a disabled vet, I am currently only training dogs, and Horses on special occasions. COVID has made our rescue efforts difficult as my rescue runs on a foster home model. These can be done anywhere as we are utilizing zoom for our meetings. I have cared for just about every type of dog in a myriad of situations, good and bad. Typically the dogs that already have a loving home are pretty easy to figure out. Their basic needs are usually met so any issues going on are not too hard to figure out. I treat every dog as if it were my own. I am a dog lover and truly enjoy watching, caring for and finding ways to enrich their lives and making things easier for them while their family members are away. It can be stressful on animals when their family members are away. Some notice a 5 minute absence, other maybe a day or so, but all miss their normal routine. I am currently in school Monday through Friday but on the weekends I am willing and available to tend your animal needs. I have a part time job on sundays but can work around. If gone for longer than a week I am willing to see through the week. Due to having my own animals, I will only be visiting homes to walk or play with.
