About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! I'm a trusted caregiver who can handle animals of all sizes, ages, abilities and temperaments! I love getting to know each animal's personality and how to best take care of them! With several dogs and a cat at home, I am always in pet care mode (and know how important it is to find a trusted sitter). Whether it is a drop-in or a boarding situation, I treat each pet like they are my own. (Also, our cat has his own "wing" of our home so he is not interacting with any visiting dogs.) We have two friendly, large dogs, Tennessee & Tucky who have been foster brothers to over 75 dogs of all sizes and ages. Having fostered so many dogs, I recognize that each animal is unique and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and how to best care for them. Whether the animals are in my house or their own, I will follow the owners' instructions and manage expectations so there are as few surprises as possible. I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pet(s) in the care of another, and I pride myself on making sure the animals are taken care of and enjoy themselves.

About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

About: Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods of time. I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and energy levels... from a senior dog who became blind and deaf, which taught me patience and gentle, consistent care, to my current puppy, where I focus on training, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement for high-energy needs. I also have two cats with very different personalities, so I am very attentive to body language and always respect each pet’s comfort level, allowing them to warm up at their own pace. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously and always care for pets as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended for long periods of time. Because I work remotely, I’m able to be present throughout the day to monitor behavior, provide regular potty breaks, walks, and attention, and ensure pets are comfortable and relaxed. I keep my space clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards, and I’m careful to follow any household rules provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. About: Taking care of pets has always been my utmost passion! I was an elementary school teacher in BROWARD county for over 25 years. In 2020, I made the difficult decision to take an early retirement from teaching in an effort to pursue my life long passion and goal... caring for pets in a loving, nurturing and trusting manner. I am available to love and care for your pet/s when my services are needed. I cater to you and your pet’s most convenient needs. I am available to stay in your home or mine. If your needs don’t include overnight stays, I am gladly available to see your pets for feeding, walking and play times. I’m very flexible and am here to meet your needs. About: I love dogs and what they bring to our life! Your pup will hang out with a friendly and energetic 5-year old Golden Retriever, his name is Tango and he is great with other dogs! We have a large fenced in yard and we spend lots of time playing ball and chasing squirrels. I work from home and have plenty of time to take care of your pup. I only host one family at a time to make sure I give plenty of attention. I live in a neighborhood with lots of pet friendly walking areas. I have a large fenced in yard and pups are welcome in all living spaces at the house. They are allowed in beds and couches. If your pup is used to sleep in a crate, please bring it with you! For the safety of Tango and other dogs I do require a copy of vaccine records as well as flea, tick and heartworm preventive all being up-to-date.
