About: After loosing our family dog, Sophie, who was 15, I decided to pursue pet care in place of getting another dog. I love the opportunity to provide excellent pet care and have met some wonderful families through Rover! I have a lot of availability to care for your pet. I am a patient person with a relaxed personality and will remain flexible to meet your family's needs for pet care. While I do not have a fenced in back yard, we live on a dead end road with no thru traffic. I provide walks 4-5 times a day and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, love and attention! About: I have pets at for many years. I also worked at a dog kennel so I'm used to all different shapes sizes and breeds. I enjoy training my own dog. I also worked on a farm so I have some farming knowledge as well. I enjoy being an active person and taking pets out. I want pet Care to be able to be my full-time completely integrated daily routine I take care of my own animals but I would like to be able to take care of other people's full time. I do however start my program of study sometime in August. About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.
