“Valerie was absolutely wonderful!!! She FAR exceeded my expectations! She responded to my request within an hour and had excellent communication with me the entire time. My son is out of town and she went to his apartment to check on his cat, Luna. Luna is extremely shy and rarely comes out for anyone — she barely comes out for me — but Valerie was so patient and gentle with her. She stayed with Luna, sent me photos and updates, and even cleaned out a very unpleasant litter box that I truly didn’t expect anyone to deal with. That alone meant so much. You can immediately tell she has a genuine love for animals and such a kind, caring soul❤️. Valerie is recently retired and clearly does this because she truly loves animals, and it shows in the level of care she gives. I cannot say enough good things about her!! I will absolutely be using her again and again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and incredibly kind with their pets. 🐾❤️❤️❤️”

About: My family has owned dogs my entire life and I got my first cat when I was 10. My friends and family know me as someone who is passionate about every type of animal and have trusted me with the care of their own loving companions for 9 years. I currently work part-time and have a very flexible schedule so I can easily provide services as short and sweet as walks and drop ins, to services like house sitting and boarding after communicating with you about what will work for both of our busy human schedules and what works best for your fur babies. While I don't have a fenced yard, I live in a very dog friendly community where potty breaks are short walks with my own dog Maggie who will be your dog's best friend and playmate. After that there are snuggles on the couch with my cat Coraline.

About: As a dedicated vet assistant, I have immersed myself in understanding animal well-being. I handle a variety of different animals varying in shapes and sizes at work. I am well educated on animal temperaments and proper care. For eight years, I was the primary caregiver for a senior dog with a heart condition. He sadly passed away in October of 2023 after living a long happy life of 20 years! Prior to having my little dog Prince, I have had various pets throughout my entire life, everywhere from puppies to birds to reptiles. I now share my home with my two rescued cats, Doja and Marble, and a rescue dog named Abe! Abe is friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I have a large gate in the home to separate the cats from the dogs, so there will be no stressors for any of the pets who stay with me. Having cared for animals with diverse medical conditions and temperaments, I am adept at recognizing signs of discomfort or distress, and I am well-prepared to handle unexpected situations with care. With my experience in veterinary medicine, I also offer nail trims for an additional cost! Please reach out to me if you would like this included in your service. My previous dog had a strict medication and vitamins routine so I am no stranger to a pet with extra needs. About: I have been caring for animals since I was a small child. I’ve cared for fish, frogs, Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, etc. I have plenty experience dog sitting and dog walking a variety of breeds, ages, and plenty of fun quirks. I’m currently available Tuesdays and weekends, and I’m happy to work with pet parents looking for consistent weekly care, especially midday drop-ins. Building a routine and getting to know your pet’s personality is my favorite part of pet sitting! I always make sure the fur babies have fresh water and food if need be. I try to include a little play time of some variety along with plenty of cuddles.
