“Jennifer came to save the day when I needed a last minute booking (less than 24 hours in advance). She came in, let my puppy out to potty and then played with him for a bit. She sent a couple pictures and a video to let me know he was doing well. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Experienced and caring dog sitter with a passion for pups. I provide a safe, fun environment for your dog, ensuring plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles. I’m also skilled in training and can teach your dog any tricks you’d like. Reliable and attentive, I treat every dog like my own. Working Monday to Thursday until 5pm Other than that I am free I don’t know what to write else but I still need some words. I will care your dog in my car. I don’t have any harnesses or cages to secure the dog. So that should be provided. Safety first :)

About: I’ve been raised with many pets, and started caring for others than my own a few years ago. I’ve looked after senior animals, babies, and all in between! I’ll be your pets favorite human (until you get back)! I’m currently home from college for the summer and have a free schedule! I have my own car and am free all day for check-ins, play time, and walks! I also have experience with overnight care as well! I’ve pet-sit and house-sat for many satisfied families in the past, and follow any instructions given! I’m sure your pets have a favorite hangout spot at your house or around the neighborhood, and I’m happy to accompany them!
“Dorothy was a life saver with our nervous pup. She was patient and understanding and let our dog get comfortable with her. I really appreciate her good dog sense and great communication. Thank you Dorothy!”

About: How owners want there furry friends to be loved is how they will be expected and treated the best way possible! They will be cared for in the best way possible. I let out or walk dogs in the morning and during my lunch time I walk them again and right after work I walk them again. And right before bed I walk them again. How ever the owner wants me to take care of there furry friend I take care of them how they are expected to be loved
About: I grew up with pitbulls, blue heelers, and cats. I currently have two fur babies named Theodore and Jax (who are living a 5 star luxury life 🐾). My friends reach out to me if they need help with caring for their doggies. I’m trustworthy and will respect your instructions! I will not do anything or give anything to your pup unless it’s specifically stated beforehand or I ask you first. I do not have children so it’s easy for me to be flexible in caring for your baby! I will provide loving care, and most of all, keep you updated and send plenty of photos to give you the reassurance that your pup is safe and cared for. I currently do not work. I mostly tend to my fur babies or my garden most days. I am doing college online but it is very flexible. My schedule is pretty flexible! Unfortunately, I cannot take care of animals in my home. We are renting and our lease states we have to have prior approval and charge a fee if another animal will be residing with us. My corgi (Theodore) is a bit of an introvert as well and does not enjoy other animals (other than Jax) in his space. I am able to drive and take care of your pet in your home! I don’t mind taking multiple trips if that will put you at ease about your pet!

“Amanda was GREAT! She was so caring and text promptly to let me know how he did after their first walk. She even took the time to come meet Cooper beforehand. Will use again!”

About: I've had pets my whole life! Currently we have 2 dogs(husky/lab mix and a black lab) and 5 cats who are all very all loved! I currently homeschool 3 girls 10-16, so I am home for most of the day. That gives me the opportunity to be able to let your pet go potty when needed or go for walks. I have a fenced in yard, and my animals are use to fostering and helping socialize other animals. I will follow your lead on your pet, your rules on how much bed snuggles, crate training, obedience, etc
“Lindsey is the best! She has come over to walk our dog multiple times and had done a wonderful job. She always responds quickly, arrives on time, and sends the funniest photos of our pup! We rebook over and over again with her!”

About: Making sure fur babies are comfortable is such an important thing to me. Pets have ALWAYS been such a big part of my life, I can’t remember a time in life when I didn’t have a loved fur companion. I love all kinds, and as long as they are friendly I do not mind helping out the owners because I know how pricey it can be else where. I have two cats cat who are more like my children and their needs are always taken care of. Taking care and being around pets is more of a stress reliever then a job or a task. I hope you will trust that I will be a great pick for you and your fur baby! I work full time, but I work from home so I am very flexible when it comes to breaks to be able to leave and bring my work with me if needed! I don’t have a fenced yard but I live next to a big neighborhood that has shaded trails and a park! I don’t mind getting out there and walking them. Also work from home so constantly able to monitor your dog or cat!
“Sachiho is so communicative and I really trust her with my pup! My apartment was testing fire alarm systems when she happened to be there this week, and my dog was terrified. She reached out to me to let me know what was going on and stayed until the tests were complete. Fantastic person, I'm glad I found her!”

I currently have a cat named Scarlett who likes to play fetch..a kitty named Watson who was feral and we have convinced that life with us is way better than life on the streets..Miles..who is true orange boy and a FIP survivor. I also have a pup named Marley that wandered into our yard 11 years ago and won us over with his kisses and snuggles under the blankets. Can’t wait to work with you and your family! I can work around a vast amount of drop in schedules to make what you need happen! I am off every weekend and every other Friday. Typically off by 5pm every day. But like I said- I can be flexible. I do have a fenced in back yard (privacy fence). I have a few different rooms within my house and can be flexible on the care that you want for your baby

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I currently have a 60lb dog and cat in my home with my parter. I have experience fostering and caring for my family members and friends pets as well. I’m currently working full time with a flexible schedule. I’m off most weekends and available to care for pets in my home with full attention. I have a dog park at my gated condo with a dog wash station and very gentle and willing to take time to build trust and care for your pets.
About: If your pet could choose their sitter... they would pick me, every time!!! I don’t just care for animals, I genuinely connect with them. I believe every animal has their own personality, and I like to take the time to truly connect with them. Whether it's playful adventures, calm companionship, or gentle reassurance for those shy pets. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel loved, comfortable, and excited every time they see me. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I build my schedule around it. I currently work part-time, which allows me the flexibility to give pets the time and attention they deserve without feeling rushed. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, or simply keeping a cat company, I make sure every visit is calm, attentive, and tailored to each pet’s personality. My goal is to create a relaxed and comfortable experience so pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. The safety and comfort of every pet is my top priority. I prefer caring for pets in their own home whenever possible because it allows them to stay in a familiar environment with their normal routines, which helps reduce stress—especially for cats. During each visit I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and plenty of attention based on their personality and comfort level. I’m also careful about keeping doors secure, monitoring their wellbeing, and making sure the home environment stays safe and calm. Pet parents can expect reliable communication and updates so they always know their pets are happy and well cared for.

“Grace was patient with our dogs and a lifesaver as we were out for an extended period of time each day. Thanks for the services and thanks for providing comfort in knowing the dogs were being cared for in our absence.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
