“We were staying in an Airbnb out of state and were in need of a Pet Sitter for a family wedding and, after reading reviews, we found Carla. Carla came a few weeks before her scheduled time to stay with our golden doodle and we felt immediately at ease with her. She was easy to reach and communicative throughout the whole process. When the time came for her to watch our pup, she arrived in ample time so that we did not feel stressed about leaving on time. She immediately began playing with our dog. Throughout the stay she sent pics and we felt very at ease. Our pup was happy and had a lot of play time. Upon return, the house was clean, bed was stripped and everything was in order. If we were to return to the area, we would absolutely book Carla again in a heartbeat!”

About: Life has given me a huge respect and love for dogs after years of living with them on farms, and in homes! As an avid hiker, runner, and photographer 📸, I will have a blast keeping your dog healthy, while supplying you with tons of photos of your dog (with your permission of course)! Looking into a career working with service animals, and would love the chance to continue having dogs in my life on a day to day basis. My schedule allows me alot of flexibility. I work seasonally in Bar Harbor, and am free for the next few months! I am capable of walking strong, excitable dogs. Long walks are not an issue. Typically available for two hours at a time for walks, check ins.

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. Dogs and I in particular share a strong connection. I’ve never met one I didn’t fall in love with! In my care, your pup will be treated as a member of the family and maybe even a bit spoiled. Being with animals gives me a sense of peace and brings me so much joy. Animals should be treated as nothing less than family and be shown the same love, loyalty and devotion they show us. I am also a nurse so I know how to administer medications such as insulin and antibiotics and keep older or ailing pets feeling safe and comfortable. The will get frequent potty breaks, lots of playtime and tons of love and attention with me! I feel lucky to be able to do something I am passionate about and enjoy when I am caring for pets. I’m not sure who is happier at the dog park- me or the pups! I am currently doing pet care full time and your pup will have my full and undivided attention. There are no children in my home and I have full availability to take them for walks, frequent potty breaks and shower them with love and attention while they are in my care I do not have a fenced in yard but live in a beautiful, safe neighborhood where we can go for lots of walks. There are also a few nice parks close by and walking trails so your pup will still get plenty of exercise in a safe environment. There is one small cat in my home but she is very sweet and friendly and adores other animals.

About: I have volunteered at my local humane society for 3 years, walking dogs and cleaning their kennels. I grew up with three dogs, and farm animals, and have always loved animals. I am currently a freshman at Umass Amherst, with availability Fridays, Monday and Wednesday mornings until 2pm, and occasional weekends. I am available to do check ups if given enough time to plan and respond! While I cannot house sit in my own house, I can in the client's home. I will follow specific directions given, and make sure the pups are fed, played with, and let out.
