With 5+ years of pet-sitting experience and professional experience at Bear Brook Kennels, I’ve had the opportunity to care for a wide variety of animals and gain hands-on experience with pets of many different breeds, personalities, temperaments, and needs. At Bear Brook Kennels, I cared for dogs, cats, and exotic animals, learning how important it is to understand each pet’s individual routine and personality. I’ve also had experience caring for police K9s while they were boarded, which gave me the opportunity to work around highly trained working dogs and taught me the importance of following specific care instructions, routines, and handling requirements. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets who needed everything from daily walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship to extra patience, attention, medication administration and individualized care. I’m comfortable working with energetic pups, senior pets, shy or nervous animals, and pets who need a little extra time to feel comfortable with someone new. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
