All of my pets have lived long, healthy lives based on excellent feeding, grooming, and regular medical care. I genuinely love animals and have a very watchful eye on their well-being. I am a retired school administrator with a 36-year history of creating productive learning environments and protecting the lives of thousands of school children. Care-taking is my thing. Now, I have a very flexible schedule/calendar, and I am wide open to opportunities to meet and care for animals of all shapes, sizes, and colors. About: I been around animals my whole life. I work from home and can be available for all your pet needs. I have a large fenced in back yard! I work from home and hardly ever leave the house during the day. I take breaks throughout my work day to play in the yard with my dogs. About: What sets me apart is that I actually stick to your pet’s routine and pay attention to the little things. I also don’t mind helping taking care of exotic pets because I am trying to be an Exotics/Wildlife Veterinarian and have always had a passion for exotics, so I’ll be more than happy to help! I’ve helped with puppy training like potty reinforcing basic commands, but I am always willing to learn any crate training or potty training. I’m also comfortable with senior pups and making sure they get extra patience, slower walks, or medications if needed but I will need to learn how to administer your pup’s medication. I always send updates and photos so you know your pups are happy and taken care of. Pet care fits really well into my routine since I’m mostly available in the afternoons. I usually plan my classes and responsibilities earlier in the day, so afternoons are open for walks, drop-ins, feedings, and playtime. It works out great because I can give pets my full attention without feeling rushed, and I’m able to stay consistent with their schedule. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free.
