About: My house has been full of the pets since the day I was born. Dogs, cats, turtles, fish, hermit crabs, you name it. There hadn’t been a time in my life that my family didn’t have a dog or dogs until this last summer when my dog Jack had to be put down. I’ve always felt I have a unique relationship with animals, I hardly ever even eat meat. Most of my experience outside of my home has been with relatives and neighbors, but I do have a little slightly more professional experience. When I was doing a work trade in Hawaii one of the main parts of our agreement was taking care of and playing with the animals there. They had a dog, cats, goats, chickens and even a cow. It was obviously a little different than your everyday household pets but it was an experience nonetheless and I think it goes to show that I really do enjoy being around animals and that I’ll be a responsible caregiver for yours. No matter the temperature outside, whether it’s dog sitting or going on walks I can assure you your pets will be in good hands. I can’t wait to meet them! I’m looking to start doing this full time so I’ll be available around the clock for whatever your pet needs! Weekday or weekend, day or night. Your home will be in good hands while you’re gone. I’ll clean up after your pets and I everytime and things better than I found them. I am responsible, organized and careful, especially in others homes.

“Jen stayed at our home to care for our two dogs and cat while we were away for a week. They were all in excellent hands with her and we will ask for her help again. One of our dogs is older and requires medication twice a day for arthritis as well as food supplements and our younger dog is very timid and sometimes startled by his own shadow. Jen handled all of it. We even got regular picture updates with how the scaredy-dog was warming up to her, so I know she was taking extra care to make sure all three of them were cared for and loved while we were away. Also, I'm pretty sure my kitchen was cleaner when we got home than when we left!”

About: After growing up with dogs and cats when I was young, to living with 3 mini-dachshunds and a cat currently, I have years of experience with these animals. I'm patient, kind, willing to stay and play with your pups, eager to go on walks, and I'm used to cleaning up messes! I am semi-retired, so I am available during the day and evenings. I typically work 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., and only a few hours on weekends. We have a fenced in yard for our dogs, and take them on regular walks. After feedings, I would play with your pet(s) and then put them outside to do their business after a reasonable time. If you have a fenced in yard or would like me to take your dog on a walk, I would find this to be enjoyable!
