Latasha looked after our kitty (Lazare) and house for a week in July. She was very professional and courteous. She took the time to write down instructions on our meet and greet. Lazare loved her! I appreciated her communication and photos and she also took good care of the house and plants. I wholeheartedly recommend Latasha.

About: Hi! I’m Gaby, a full-time professional pet sitter and lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals isn’t a side job for me, it’s full time job and passion! One of the biggest benefits of booking with me is that I do this full-time, which means your pets receive far more attention, companionship, and supervision than they would with sitters who work traditional 9–5 jobs or are in and out all day. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches of the day, and their comfort, safety, and routine will always be my top priority. I have professional experience working in daycare and boarding environments, including Kennelwood Animal Resort and Y Bark Alone. Through that experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable administering medications (both oral and injections), handling puppies, seniors, and special-needs pets, and recognizing signs that a pet may be stressed, anxious, or unwell. When I watch your babies, they aren’t just another booking. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the individualized care they deserve. You’ll receive tons of pupdates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in caring hands. My goal is to become the sitter you can rely on whenever you need help, a trusted person who treats your pets like family and provides the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own! I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies!🐶🐾 Rover is my full time job at the moment so my schedule is very open to give your pet the proper time and attention they deserve. How I care for your fur baby is completely contingent on the owner. I follow all guidelines they have set in place whatever those may be. But you can trust they are always in the best of hands.

About: Cai has been providing in home pet care since she was a teenager and began boarding pets when she started grad school in 2020. Joe has been boarding cats since around 2019 and has began boarding dogs since 2024. My partner and I work from home and provide full time care, meaning that, unless discussed beforehand explicitly, your pet will not be left alone and you can rest easy knowing they have our full attention. We only accept more than one pet at a time if they live in the same house and we are pet free right now, so you dont have to worry about how they might get along with any other animals. We have a fenced in yard for your pup to run around in and we live minutes away from Tower Grove Park where I love to take walks.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a kid. Most recently raising a German shepherd for the last 10 years! I love long walks with the pups and tending to their needs. My days start and end with walks, so the pup will accompany me on all of those or spend time in the backyard while I garden. I have a fence where the dog can have ample space to run around and roam free. Or they can relax inside during the hot summer days.

About: I have years of experience caring for pets and understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your furry loved ones while you’re away. I’m a registered nurse, which means I’m detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable following specific care instructions. I’m happy to help with feeding schedules, routines, medications (if needed), and keeping you updated so you can have peace of mind. I offer loving, reliable care in your home, including drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and house checks. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to make them feel safe and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I would love the opportunity to meet your pets and provide the dependable care they deserve! I offer flexible scheduling for pet care visits and can work with pet owners to find times that fit their pets’ routines. I am available for drop-in visits, feeding, litter box care, playtime, and companionship while owners are away. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I make every effort to provide dependable care and keep owners updated with messages and photos during visits. I am available for scheduled daytime visits and can discuss specific needs, routines, and availability with each client. Your pets’ safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so I can provide calm, dependable care. I care for pets by treating them with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs. I believe pets do best when they have a consistent routine, a safe environment, and plenty of love and companionship. I make sure pets are fed according to their owner’s instructions, have fresh water, a clean space, and time for play, attention, and comfort. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, or energy levels so I can communicate any concerns quickly. With cats especially, I understand the importance of respecting their space, earning their trust, maintaining litter box routines, and providing gentle interaction based on their personality. As a registered nurse, I’m trained to pay close attention to details, follow instructions carefully, and recognize when something may not be right. I understand how important it is to communicate clearly and provide updates so you know your pets are safe and cared for. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own. I focus on creating a safe, comfortable environment where pets feel secure while their owners are away.

First time user and was very skeptical to have a stranger come into my home and care for my doggies. I am so happy and very pleased that I found Jennifer. She is very kind and my puppy who is normally barking and fearful of strangers warned up and kissed and played with her. Will be using her again and always. Dogs look happy and safe. She even snapped and sent some of the very cutest close up photos of our fur babies during her check-ins.

About: I have taken care of so many different dogs and cats and other pets since I was 10 years old. I have watched for friends and family and really enjoy spending time with pets. I work on reduced time at amazon so I work on Sundays, Monday and Tuesdays and then on thursdays and fridays I work at a dog boarding facility. I take care of pets in the clients home just because my dogs don't get along with other pets. But I give the pets 24 hour love and attention. I love taking dogs on walks and playing fetch with them. I also love when the dogs sleep with me at night. I can also take care of pets that have medications too.

About: Hey friends! I graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2019 from Muscatine, Iowa. I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2020 and I absolutely love it. I have a large passion for animal care and know that they deserve as much love as people do. My family and friends have always had animals as well, so I’ve helped with them here and there. I’ve done quite a few jobs on here and it’s always been a great experience! I am CPR trained for both cats and dogs and know how to give various medications in various ways. I worked at Northgate Small Animal Hospital in Collinsville, IL for over 2 years and recently quit this year due to my CF, but I still keep up to date with my licensure! I can work with dogs, cats, and small exotic animals including hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc. Don’t worry, you can trust me with all of your fur babies!!! As previously mentioned, I quit working as a Vet Tech in 2023 do to hardships with my Cystic Fibrosis. I still do Rover jobs, so feel free to ask me if you need me! I had a baby earlier this year in April, so my schedule will depend on him and that of my hubbys! Other than that, just let me know and ask me! I don’t watch animals at my home due to our dog, Chief, being dog aggressive but I’m always happy to come to your home and visit your pets! I’m happy to follow a schedule or do whatever you need while at your home!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
