About: I have been dog sitting and caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I have a huge passion for animals and have been volunteering at my local humane society for the past few years. I have animals of my own and am actually about to add a new puppy to my pet family! I am willing to walk, bathe, and feed your animals and make sure they get the care they need while you’re away! I am actually a full time college student and am looking to give pet care in between my classes during the week. I would be available on T/Th all day. On M/W/F I am available anytime after 12pm to come care for your pets. I am looking to be doing home visits rather than dog boarding because I am currently living in an apartment and do not have the space needed to provide quality care for your pets. I am willing to do drop in visits and in the past am used to doing that type of care for my clients.
“Keri and her daughter were very friendly and helpful with taking care of our cat for a week. The pictures were great to see and she was responsive in answering questions. We appreciated them and their service!”

About: Can help take care of big dogs, and can play with dogs all day. Cats I can give them their space or play with them as needed. Rover is a summer side job for me to fund my college and stay active. And I love playing and being with dogs and cats. When it comes to walking or at home care, I have the experience and care to work out all sorts of trouble or problems with dogs and cats.
“Jill was WONDERFUL!! So nice to be able to have the puppers/kitties stay at home and not be worried the entire time we were away. Jill sent lots of pictures and updates and even cleaned the cat litterbox which was unexpected, but certainly appreciated!! I would use Jill again in a heartbeat...the dogs miss her already!”

About: Experienced pet care provider with 10 years in veterinary medicine, boarding, pet sitting, and grooming support. Comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, temperaments, and needs, with a strong focus on safety, patience, and compassionate care. ❤︎ Currently attending dog grooming school with expected graduation in September 2026! While attending grooming school full-time, I maintain a structured schedule that allows me to provide reliable morning, evening, and weekend drop-in care for pets needing consistent check-ins and attention. Your pet’s safety is my top priority during every visit. I carefully follow all care instructions, use secure entry/exit practices, and make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and settled before I leave. I also provide daily photo updates during drop-in visits so you can feel connected and at ease while you’re away.

About: I have had between 2-4 animals in my house since I was a kid. I have been pet sitting animals from kittens/puppies all the way up to 16 years old for the past 4 years consistently. I am good with helping animals take their meds and will interact with animals at their pace. I am currently working a part time job and starting full online classes so I can get my masters. This means that I will be free most of the time and will be able to make my schedule fit around my clients needs. In my clients home I will make sure to follow instructions given to me, ensuring I am familiar with all details to give the animals the best care. I will take any animals that enjoy walks for those in the area or to a park if they need to get energy out, play with them outside, or play with them inside. I follow a routine for feeding and for any meds they might have to take, while also checking to make sure they have full and clean water daily. If I am cat sitting I will make sure to check and scoop the litter daily as well if needed.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have three dogs ranging from 6 pounds to 60 pounds. I’ve been looking after pets since I was a child and have experience with all kinds of companions. Right now, I share my home with three dogs—60 lbs, 25 lbs, and 6 lbs—so I’m very comfortable managing different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve also cared for cats, birds, fish, gerbils, and even snakes. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive, reliable care throughout the day. Let me take something off your plate, whether it be dog walking , dog sitting, drop in’s or boarding. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule to help to care for your pet. I’m available on weekdays and weekends with a little bit of notice! 🐾 I’m dependable and safety-focused, and I’ll care for your pet the same way I care for my own. I have three wonderful dogs and a fully fenced backyard, so safety is always top of mind in my home. I’m happy to follow any specific routines or precautions you have in place to make sure your pet feels secure and well cared for. 🐾
“My cat Daisy and I had another fantastic experience with Jenny! She worked her magic on her drop in visits to care for Daisy while I was away and my typically stranger shy kitty was happy to come out to visit with her. Jenny shared many photos so I could see my girl was doing well and I returned home to a very well cared for and happy cat.”

About: I’m the go-to sitter for my siblings, coaches, and friends, which speaks to the level of trust people place in me when it comes to caring for their pets. I genuinely love dogs and have a passion for making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for whether that means staying active with them or providing a calm, comforting environment. I have a soft spot for all dogs, but especially dream of one day having two golden retrievers of my own. Until then, I love any opportunity to spend time with and care for others’ pets as if they were mine. I’m currently on a clinical rotation at Athletico as part of my Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Washington University in St. Louis. With some time off from school this summer, I’m looking forward to helping out families who need reliable, attentive pet care. As a former SIUE women’s basketball player, I bring strong time management, discipline, and professionalism to everything I do. You can count on me to be responsible, communicative, and fully committed to giving your pet the best care possible. Pet care fits really well into my weekly routine. I’m currently on a PT clinical rotation Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, which allows me to consistently offer drop-in visits and walks throughout the week. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I’m available for visits after 3:30 PM for afternoon/evening walks or check-ins. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have availability in the mornings before 10:00 AM and in the evenings after 6:00 PM. I do not offer overnight stays, but I’m very reliable for scheduled drop-ins and walks. I’m also typically available on weekends with a more flexible schedule, making it easy to accommodate multiple visits if needed. With my background as a student-athlete, I’m highly organized, dependable, and committed to sticking to a consistent routine for your pet. I can come and let your dog out or take them for a walk whenever! I am very good with dogs and am willing to come over and meet them before to get accustomed with them!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and many other furry and feathered companions. I firmly believe that a house isn’t truly a home without a four-legged friend. Over the years, I’ve provided pet care for family and friends, caring for up to five dogs at a time of varying breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I also have experience caring for cats, including both indoor and outdoor pets. My background is in nursing, which has given me valuable experience with responsibility, attention to detail, and caring for animals with special medical needs. However, my love for animals has always been just as strong as my passion for helping people. My family and I recently relocated from St. Louis, Missouri, to St. Jacob, Illinois. My husband and daughter share my love for animals, and our home is currently filled with the company of our three beloved cats. Earlier this year, we said goodbye to our sweet dog, Roxy, after 17 wonderful years together. Her absence has left a noticeable void in our home, and we miss the sound of her sassy little feet following us around. While we take our time deciding when we’re ready to welcome another dog into our family, I’ve decided to return to pet sitting and expand my services. Caring for animals brings me joy, and I would be honored to provide loving, dependable care for your pets while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, medication administration, or vacation care, you can rest assured your pets will be treated like family. I'm currently a stay at home mom and can offer plenty of flexibility for your pet's care needs whether that is drop in visits, walks, or boarding. We live on a 2+ acre lot with lots of room to run/walk around the property. We do not currently have a fenced in yard so dogs would need to be on a leash to ensure their safety while staying with us. We have lots of walking paths in our area that we can offer for exercise. If your dog likes a quiet place to rest, we have used our laundry room as a quiet area for pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
