“Nontombe made me feel so wonderful about being able to leave my pet in her care! She was wonderful, took several pictures and kept me updated on how she was doing. I’ll definitely rebook with Nontombe :)”

“A great sitter! Went above and beyond, kept things tidy and spent quality time with my cats over the course of 3 weeks. Definitely the sitter you want!”

“Thank you so much for watching Pumpkin! The updates and photos were so comforting and you took such good care of her! We truly appreciate it.”

“Christina was wonderful with Presby! She goes over and above to allow Presby to sit in the screened-in porch during the visit, Christina picked up a package that was delivered at the front door and even took our recycling bin to/from the alley on pickup day, which we truly appreciate. Presby has been a contented kitty under Christina's care! We feel Christina deserves a 6-star review!”

“Merrell is the best! We always ask her first! Our cats are getting familiar with her - so important!”

“This was Meghan's 2nd time watching after the kitties, and we were thankful she was able to help us at the last minute. she gave us updates all weekend, brought in our mail, and took great care of our 2 cats☺️”

“Sean took excellent care of our cat! He had great communication and I could tell Blitz was well taken care of. I knew that Sean was patient and kind because our skittish cat was sitting in his lap and asking to be picked up after only a few visits! I would definitely hire Sean again to look after our cat!”

“Becky took excellent care of my boys while I was out of town for several days. She communicated all concerns and let me know how they were doing each visit. She provided lots of photos and made me feel better about being away from my pups.”

“Lexi went above and beyond while caring for Machi. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was in such attentive, loving hands. Machi is usually full of sass and pretty particular about who she warms up to, but she really loved Lexi, and that says everything. The updates were thoughtful, detailed, and full of charm, just like Machi herself. I could tell Lexi genuinely cared and treated her like family. I’m so grateful for the love and attention she gave my girl while I was away.”

“Heather is so great! She took wonderful care of my two cats and gave them so much love and attention. She always detailed the visits with pictures and comments. I have one very shy cat, but he was able to get him to warm up to in her by the second drop-in. That’s a gift to be able to do that so quickly.”

“Moe is the BEST! It was obvious she cares a lot about my cat and did above and beyond. She sends daily pictures and even played with his favorite toys. 10/10 recommend.”

“I needed someone last minute and she responded quick. Very good pictures and great updates!”

About: AVAILABLE for 2 dogs Easter Weekend. Dogs MUST be house trained and good with cats. Rover says "What sets you apart from other sitters?" My answer is simple. Geriatric and Special Needs Care. While I will happily accept ALL dogs under 30lbs, I specialize in elderly pets/special needs pets who don't do well in boarding situations and need extra care throughout the day. I'm well versed in administering oral medication, injections, and even subcutaneous fluids as needed. I am available 24hrs a day for potty breaks and medication routines. I am currently the only sitter in Columbia certified through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council, a 3rd party certification. This means they do not offer any classes or teaching, only offer the test which costs around $400. I am also a member of the International Boarding & Pet Services Association, and the International Association of Canine Professionals. I carry Pet Sitting Insurance as well. All in all, I love pets of all ages and sizes. The older ones, the smaller ones and the ones who need just a little extra care have my heart a little more. I have open availability for the following pups: all pups under 30 lbs, elderly pets of any size, and special needs pets. I am home most of the day; when I am not, my husband is available to feed/medicate as needed. Please note - I am only available for 30-minute Drop-In services during the following hours: 5 a.m.—5:30 a.m., 11 a.m.—1 p.m., and 7 p.m.—9 p.m. I am only available for 1hr drop-in services during the following hours: 11 am - 12:30 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm Next, Rover asks me how I care for pets in my home. My home schedule: so you can know how pets fit into my daily or weekly routine! I work 35 to 37 hours a week at a pet facility I have managed for 9 years. My 2 daily shifts are roughly 4 hours each, with a 4-hour break between, getting me home around 6:15 pm each day. I can do drop-in appointments during that break and after 6 p.m. Tuesdays - Saturdays. Sundays and Mondays are my typical days off work, meaning I can do more drop-ins on those days! I typically have extra availability on Wednesday afternoons as I have a short work day. I am a homebody, so whenever I am not at work, you can usually find me at home relaxing with my dogs in our 'dog' room watching Netflix, reading a book, or visiting with my chickens on the farm. Your pup would be right there along with us, relaxing and getting all kinds of love. I offer overnight stays in my home specifically for: elderly pups, pups under 30lbs of all ages, and pups with special needs who would not do well in a boarding facility. Your pups would be the center of attention in the house while they were here. They would -not- interact with my younger/larger pups, as I have some rambunctious youngins. They may interact with my cats if they are comfortable with cats, as well as my smaller, calmer pups for company if your pup is comfortable with that. I have a 'dog room' at home with a large couch for relaxing and reading or gaming/watching Disney+ on our large screen TV, an echo dot that will play calming classical music while I am out of the room, and a padded, carpeted floor. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade. If your pup is fairly mobile and enjoys water, I also have a water feature on the property that we can walk down to and enjoy. Meal times are at your pets schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to a drop-in or being caught in traffic from work, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated, or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food.

“Rini has been watching my dogs and cats when I go out of town for the weekend and vacations for the past 3 years. Being a Veterinarian, I have many pets! All of my dogs are Geriatric and are on several medications daily. Rini is very conscientious and pays meticulous attention to their feeding and medication instructions. When I got hit head on by a DUI driver in 2001, Rini was quick to jump in and get my gang to the Kennel that she manages and took meticulous care of the old ones for the 6 weeks that I was hospitalized. Rini has tremendous knowledge of how to care for animals and never hesitates to text of call with any and all concerns and if needed will get my kids to the Veterinarian if needed. I highly recommend Rini for all you pet care! Patricia L. Meiser, DVM”
