About: Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. My Grandma was very influential in teaching me to love and care for them and how to read their body language. I started pet sitting when I was in elementary school, when our neighbors would go on vacation I would care for their cat and fish. I have had many beloved pets growing up, including; cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, lizards, hamsters, and a mouse. Currently, I have a previously feral, cow cat named queenie. I have taken a veterinary science course at hcc, where I studied animal anatomy. I also worked as a volunteer and fostered at the humane society , a non-profit no kill organization that works with Petsmart, to get animals into forever homes. I am currently in school to get a Bachelors Degree in Biology, with a focus on Zoology. My goal is to study and work directly with wild animals in order to preserve them! :) If you guys have any questions feel free at ask! About: I grew up in a dog-loving home—there was never a time we didn’t have a furry friend in the family. Since my very first pet, I’ve enjoyed caring for animals. Now as an adult, I have a dog and a cat of my own. My pup is a high-energy guy that I’ve raised since he was a puppy. We went through all the training together—lots of patience, consistency, and treats!—and now he’s a well-behaved, happy companion who keeps me on my toes. In my home, I provide a calm, secure environment with a fully fenced yard that offers plenty of room for pets to run and play safely. We also have sidewalks throughout the neighborhood perfect for walks, a puppy play pen for supervised fun, and plenty of space to crate pets comfortably if needed. All areas are pet-proofed to prevent accidents, and I carefully manage food, toys, and any medications. When visiting a client’s home, I follow their routines closely to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I make sure doors and gates are secure, hazardous items are out of reach, and I maintain open communication with owners about any special needs or behaviors. Building trust with pets and their families is important to me, so I take time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs.

About: I've always been around animals. Whether it was family pets or animals I showed in FFA, I've always had animals near and dear to my heart. Currently I'm working part time and have lots of time to devote to your fur babies. I'm available for house sitting, drop in visits, or dog walking (they can help me get my 10,000 steps in) I understand all things routine involving fur babies, I can walk them when needed, play and take care of them so you have peace of mind while you're out.

About: I am the go-to with friends and families to take care of their fur babies. I have the ability to teach your fur baby basic tricks. I am flexible with whatever needs. About: Hello, I’m Kirsten. I have been actively dog sitting for the last 5 years in and around thurmont and the surrounding areas. (Mount airy, woodbine, Frederick, smithsburg, Hagerstown. etc) I do both overnights in your home and boarding opportunities in our home. I can work from home most days which allows a very flexible schedule. I am willing to accommodate for what ever needs are present and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. About: I grew up caring, training and assisting in raising German Shepherds since I was 5 yrs old. I trained my first German Shepherd at age 11 and placed second in obedience and showmanship competition. Have also grown up with having a cat. Been in charge of taking care of neighbors dogs, cats, horses and cows since I was 12. Throughout the years I have taken care of dogs from birth to elderly. I also have one year of experience working at a vet clinic and have been a certified barn manager (I didn't pay to renew my certification). Thus, I am familiar with various care and prevention strategies for all kinds of animals. I am currently an occupational therapist; thus, I am mainly available on the weekends with a semi-flexible schedule. Reach out to me and we will discuss the details and see if there is something that can work for both of us. If I am unavailable for the weekend, I try to have it updated on my calendar. In taking dogs on walks I am careful to avoid walking near other dogs and observe surroundings that may cause an issue. I also pay attention to behavior factors such if the dog is showing beginning signs of getting hot or tired.

About: I'm Hannah! I have two boys, ages 3 and 7. My kids are great with dogs as we have been doing Rover for over 6 years. We are dog lovers and we would love to have your doggy in our home while you are away! I can offer as much or as little outside time that’s needed. Your baby will be in great hands while you’re away and you won’t miss a beat with all the pictures that are sent your way.
