Experienced Dog Handler
I’ve been working with dogs for three years and I truly love what I do. Please note that I cannot provide cat care as I am allergic! I’m currently part of the team at Good Dog Paws, a facility that has been voted Best Pet Training in the Tri-State area for 2023, 2024, and 2025 — and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of such a trusted and respected organization. At Good Dog Paws, I handle a wide range of responsibilities that have helped me become confident in working with all types of dogs. I bathe dogs, manage feeding routines, administer medications (including oral and topical treatments), and closely supervise group play to ensure every dog stays safe and happy. I’ve learned to read body language, manage group dynamics, and handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally. In addition to my work at Good Dog Paws, I’ve also volunteered at the Washington County Humane Society as a dog walker. That experience helped me become more comfortable with dogs who may be shy, nervous, or still learning basic manners, and I’ve developed a gentle, patient approach to building trust with animals who need a little extra love. I’ve also provided pet sitting and house sitting services for both family and my boss. These experiences have taught me how important it is to follow routines closely, keep pets comfortable in their own home, and maintain regular communication with pet parents while they’re away. Whether I’m taking care of a senior dog with special needs or entertaining an energetic pup with tons of personality, I take pride in offering reliable, compassionate care. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities.

Adriana took care of my dog and my home while I was away for five nights. She left my home better than she found it and my dog happy, healthy, and well cared for. I will definitely continue to use her for both routine walks and vacations.
Adriana made going oversees for the first time so easy. She was organized and kept us up to date each day on how our two pups were doing. She also took great care of the house for 10 days. We are so so grateful for her help, and we will definitely rebook!

Unfortunately, this experience was not what I expected or what I felt was discussed at our meet and greet. I booked from noon on Monday through noon on Friday. We departed for vacation at 10:30am Monday, at 4:30pm I saw from our security cameras that Adriana hadn't arrived yet. When I texted her she informed me that she was out of town and would be flying back in that evening. Even stating that I should ask a neighbor to let the dogs out to potty. She did not arrive until 8pm. Not only did we have to call on someone to drive 40 minutes to care for our dogs, but had I not looked at our cameras I would not have even known. An 8 hour late arrival should have been communicated. There were several small items that we saw on camera that gave us concern at the level of engagement the dogs received. While I am grateful she came to feed them, allow for potty breaks and stayed overnight with them I don't feel it was the level of care I had hoped for. Given our meet and greet and her all 5 star ratings this was unfortunate.

Such as thunder, vacuums, etc. - What comforts them.
