About: Hello, I’m Kirsten. I have been actively dog sitting for the last 5 years in and around thurmont and the surrounding areas. (Mount airy, woodbine, Frederick, smithsburg, Hagerstown. etc) I do both overnights in your home and boarding opportunities in our home. I can work from home most days which allows a very flexible schedule. I am willing to accommodate for what ever needs are present and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I do have a fenced in yard, no restrictions at my home as far as where the dog can go, they can sleep in my bed if they would like.

About: I have grown up with pets of all kinds my whole life. I have owned dogs, cats, small reptiles, rabbits, fish. I have over 25 years of Petcare/animal experience. I have professionally cared for animals for 15 years. I have worked in Petcare in a pet store caring for the in-store animals: fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, pockets pets, insects. I have volunteered at an animal shelter. I have worked my adult career in a primary veterinary clinic, and a specialty veterinary referral hospital. I have lots of experience with cats and dogs. I have pet sat for many friends and family. I have personally rescued several senior pets- cats and dogs, and I am very comfortable with medication administration, physical ambulatory assistance, and incontinence support. I have established and maintained many personal aquarium & terrariums of my own, as well as for family & friends. I work full time at a veterinary referral hospital and am available Saturday-Sunday (all day), and currently Monday & Tuesday Evenings. I live with a senior dog, and 2 cats. They are all spayed/neutered, nails trimmed, and fully vaccinated. My cats keep to themselves, and my senior Cavvie, Frannie LOVES the company of other dogs!!❤️ I have a fenced in back yard, and I am only a minute walk away from a big community park.

About: I took care of my shih tzu for 12 years, he recently passed of old age. I had dogs growing up but Oreo was the first that really attached to me. He whined if he couldn't get into the bathroom with me. He slept in my bed with me until he got too old to be that high up without supervision. I gave him embarassing mom haircuts for 10 years because I knew he hated the entire experience of going to the groomers and I wanted to spare him the discomfort. I was always looking for ways to make that dog more comfortable. I have experience in caring for senior dogs, so you can rest assured I will do everything I can for your senior furbabies' comfort. I'm currently working part-time weekdays caring for children but my weekends are open for watching your fur babies!! I usually wake up around 10-11am so I can be available any time after that Friday-Sunday! I always check the water after being gone to make sure there's still enough in there and that it's clean, and feed the cats 3 times a day when possible. Some days just twice usually when I have work. I am happy to follow whatever feeding schedule you have for your fur babies! I also try to brush the cats once a day to cut down on shedding. If you have brushes I am happy to give your pets all the brushin's! We also play with chew toys, cat wands, laser pointers, and socks! Whatever toys you have I'm sure we will have a blast!

About: **please note I have a day job that takes me away from my house M-F from 5:30am until 4:15pm…all boarded pets will be let out to potty immediately upon returning home ** I have been taken care of dogs for over 15 years. My first dog 2 when I adopted him and I cared for him until he crossed over the rainbow bridge when he passed at 10yrs old. I also raised two puppies from 8 weeks until they crossed over as well. I work full time away from home Monday thru Friday, so your pet would be alone for about 8hrs week days. I will make sure they are let out before I leave and let out again immediately once I return home. I am able to walk dogs / check in on family pets after 4:30pm on week days. I have a deck and a 6ft tall fenced in yard. I do not have small children in my home. I also do not have any other pets that may not get along with another dog. I will always care for your pet as if it were my own.

About: I grew up caring, training and assisting in raising German Shepherds since I was 5 yrs old. I trained my first German Shepherd at age 11 and placed second in obedience and showmanship competition. Have also grown up with having a cat. Been in charge of taking care of neighbors dogs, cats, horses and cows since I was 12. Throughout the years I have taken care of dogs from birth to elderly. I also have one year of experience working at a vet clinic and have been a certified barn manager (I didn't pay to renew my certification). Thus, I am familiar with various care and prevention strategies for all kinds of animals. I am currently an occupational therapist; thus, I am mainly available on the weekends with a semi-flexible schedule. In taking dogs on walks I am careful to avoid walking near other dogs and observe surroundings that may cause an issue. About: I have experience, taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens. I am willing to take care of smaller animals, such as hamsters, birds or guinea pigs as well. During the summer, I am home most days of the week. I am a full time teacher so I am off during the summer. Therefore I am very reliable and flexible with times. I have a fenced in yard that’s big enough for dogs to get some exercise. I have two kids who enjoy seeing and meeting new animals.

About: I am 24 year old animal lover and a manager at a dog boarding facility and care for dogs there regularly. I medicate, bath, walk clean kennels and much more.
