“My usual cat sitter was unavailable for an upcoming work trip, so she passed Jordan’s info along to me, and I can totally see why. She was incredibly kind and took such great care of my cat while I was gone on a work trip. I’d highly recommend booking her to care for your pet!”

“Emily did drop in visits for us this past week and was AMAZING!!! She sent us pictures and daily updates, plus cleaned up messed out cats made. We are so thankful for her and would highly recommend!!”

“Definitely recommend! My dog was happy when I got home after a visit with Patricia. She answered last minute request and I’m so grateful she did! Will be booking again with her 😄”

“Alexander was absolutely wonderful. This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous at first. I have a Great Dane and she is my animal child so, like any pet parent, you want the best for them. My dog was very hesitant at first because she was on guard and protecting her home. I left treats at the door just in case. Alexander was so patient with her and feed her treats to gain her trust. As the days went on, the "check-in" photos made my heart smile. I could see London letting her guard down her guard and that was all because of how sweet he was. I will certaintly use him again!”

“Linda was awesome kitty sitting. Love that she send photos every day. Cats did not come out from hiding but she still managed to get the shots. Will use her again.”

“Julissa did a great work, she followed all feeding schedule precisely and was very flexible regarding visit times. She has a loving heart for animals. Definitely hire Julissa for any of your pet care needs.”

“Noah was exceptional! I have a very stubborn dog who tends to hide from everyone and make it difficult to get out. Noah was great about handling the situation and made it look like a breeze. Cannot thank him enough for taking such good care of my pup!”

“Thank you for going above and beyond by bringing large packages inside for me, and even sending a picture of a UPS notice in case I needed to reschedule delivery while I was away. Really appreciate it, and the cats loved the company!”

About: I have been dog sitting since I was a child and love it! We go on walks every day and have a golden doodle who loves playing with a friend. I am able to give your dog lots of love and care because I am able to be home with them all day! I currently stay at home so I will be available all day and able to give your pet my full attention. I'm available all throughout the week for boarding and walking or drop ins in the mornings and afternoons. We have a very large common grass area for our backyard where they can roam but do have to be on a leash. We can crate your dog if and when needed.

“Kitten does NOT come out of hiding for new people. Rachel sent me several photos where Kitten has come out to greet her. Just amazing. Everything I asked was done and I think my fur baby was happier with Rachel than sitters in the past.”

“Julie did an amazing job taking care of my cat Ozzy when I was out of town. She made sure to give him a lot of love and attention and updated me everyday with the cutest pictures!”

About: Began working in animal hospitals when I was 12… many years of animal care! I hold a doctorate in a public health field, also a degree in animal sciences/pre-veterinary medicine (was accepted into multiple veterinary schools) & a couple masters (all science/health). I recently moved, which is an opportunity to return to caring for fur-babies. I know what it’s like to need someone to care for my pets & provide what I looked for: reliability, responsiveness, & enjoys being with animals. I am happy playing with active pets, patient with those who need to warm up, & love to cuddle the couch loungers. I have experience with animals from birth to senior years & various health conditions. I follow your directions as you know your pet(s) best. From cuddles and walks to surgery and inpatient care - I have experience: professionally & from family pets. In addition to working in pet hospitals, I have had my own pets, from small to very large (other animals in photos… Rover is only for dog/cat/housesitting & I have to abide by TOS). I look forward to bonding with your fur-family members so you can relax with the assurance your pets are in good hands. Hablo español (Costarricense) I am currently 100% dedicated to caring for your fur-babies. My daughter lives on her own (in college), so there are no children or pets in my home. This is my daily & weekly routine :) I follow your instructions for your pet(s). Crate-trained, or ok to roam? Do your pets sleep with you? I am adaptable. There is a mini dog-park here so your dog can run or go for walks, there’s lots of green space! I prioritize housesitting as pets are often more comfortable in their own home. That isn’t always possible so I board small, medium, and large dogs (large on a case-by-case basis). I recently moved to the area so am in an apartment, but also am a homeowner, so understand entrusting your home to a house-sitter. Safety & a good experience for your pet(s) is my priority.

About: I have 4 years of experience with dog sitting for multiple families. I have lived in client's homes and taken care of their pups with regular walking, feeding, grooming as needed, plenty of play time and lots of love!! I have also dropped in to walk dogs when needed during the day for clients who are away from home for several hours including spending a full day at a time dog sitting, keeping their pup company for the day. I love to play with and love on client's pups as if they're my own!! I have a 5 year old goofy golden retriever who loves all dogs! My husband and I both work from home and I run my own business so my schedule can be very flexible during the week days. I live in a townhome in a gated neighborhood near South Park. We have a nice dog park with small dog and large dog sections on our street so it is very convenient. My dog loves it!

“Will was so awesome! Our dog Lola is coming up on 15 years old and is our almost two year old daughter’s best friend. So, we are always apprehensive when leaving her for a trip. This time my younger brother couldn’t sit for her, but Will stepped in and did a wonderful job. We had amazing communication, a good amount of pictures, and Lola was as happy as possible with us out of town. We would recommend to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've grown up surrounded by dogs, cats, hamsters, sugar gliders. For the past five years, I’ve worked as a Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital, where I’ve gained valuable experience in pet care and handling. From learning medical techniques to providing everyday comfort, my work has given me the skills to confidently care for animals in all kinds of situations. In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve been dog sitting for over six years. Whether it’s feeding, bathing, nail trimming, walking, or simply spending quality time with your pets, I treat every animal with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m a proud pet parent to a lovable Lab mix, so I understand how important it is to find a sitter who is not only responsible but genuinely caring. I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I'm currently working Part time which gives me a generous amount of days off. I’m available on some weekdays, but mostly throughout the weekend. If I'm contacted in advance, I may be able to adjust my schedule to fit your needs. I have one friendly dog at home who can keep your pet company if they enjoy socializing. However, if your pet prefers their own space or isn’t dog-friendly, that’s completely okay—they’ll have my full attention and care all to themselves. I'm comfortable with crate training and can easily crate your dog if needed for safety or routine. Above all, I’m always open to any tips or special instructions you have to ensure your pet stays safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care.

From German Shepherds in San Francisco to a high-maintenance English Bulldog I’ve cared for since puppy training here in Charlotte, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all personalities, energy levels, and medical needs. Over the years, I’ve looked after puppies, senior dogs with joint issues, pets with cancer, and animals on special diets or complex medication routines. I bring a warm, gentle presence to every home I enter, maintaining routines, offering companionship, and providing detailed daily updates so you can travel with peace of mind. With a background in both hospitality and theatre, I know the importance of showing up with professionalism, attentiveness, and clear communication. I pride myself on leaving homes in excellent condition and pets feeling loved and well cared for. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets the emotional trust involved in letting someone care for your home and beloved animals, I’d love to chat further. Most importantly, I want to be present for your dog. When it's time to potty or eat or play time, I'm available. It is crucial they get that company and I love just kicking it with animals (as most of us, yes, I have full on conversations with them). I'm a laid back, goofy guy who is just looking to make dogs and their owners comfortable and happy! As a freelance writer, I’m currently looking to fill my schedule with pet sitting and house care jobs. Currently I care for a calico cat and English bull dog 3-4 times a week in Charlotte. While my apartment does allow pets, my experience is fully in sitting for the animal at the respective owners homes. I find this is most comfortable for the animal and helps them stick to their routine.

Hannah R.
“Hannah is absolutely the best dog sitter. She loves our puppies as if they are her own. She is super professional and experienced but most importantly trustworthy. She has been watching our golden retriever and our golden doodle for the past 4 years but we have known her for over 10 years. Since she has started watching them since they were 8 weeks old, we have seen her capabilities to handle all stages: Puppy toilet training, chewing, excitability and the need to exercise them as they grow. She has followed all our instructions for feeding, walking and puppy crate time perfectly. She also gives them extra extra love and attention. Your dog will absolutely adore her.”
