Emily was so kind to have us over for a puppy play date so we would feel comfortable with our pup staying there for a week. Immediately, our dog felt right at home! It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands while we were away. Her fenced in yard is perfect for lots of outdoor play, and her home is set up ideally for caring for dogs. While we were out of town, she responded quickly to my messages asking about how he was doing, and we so appreciated all the updates and pictures. I can tell he had a blast, and we are so happy to have found Emily on Rover! We definitely recommend her, and we will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you!”

“Marah was a dream! I had to leave the state for work and then a vacation for almost three weeks. My typical sitter was unavailable and I reached out to Marah in a pinch. I can’t say enough great things! She was amazingly helpful, communicative, and welcoming. When I arrived to drop off Obi, I could tell how much knowledge she had about dogs, especially ones that may be a bit nervous with new people (like my Obi). She made me feel so comfortable, talking to me about her typical schedule, when she sends pictures, that I can reach out whenever, and about what she was noticing in my dog’s behavior as he was warming up to the new environment. She has such a warm personality and attention to detail which set me at ease. She waited with me and Obi outside until he seemed comfortable, calm, and interested enough to enter her home. This spoke SO much about her patience and ability to care for the animals she sits. Throughout the time I was gone, I received multiple pictures of Obi each night which helped me to feel at ease and was almost immediate to respond when I reached out to check in. When I picked him up, Marah gave me a wonderful synopsis of my dog’s experience with her as well as some things she noticed about his behavior (for example, she noticed he wasn’t as territorial with food as I thought he may be or how friendly he was with new people). I could tell how tired and happy my pup was from running in her large fenced in backyard with the other cute dogs she was watching. He clearly loved his stay. We will definitely return to Marah in the future. I feel so lucky to have found her!!”

About: I love animals and have lots of experience taking care of them. I have three furry members in my family--two cats and a dog. All of our animals were adopted from shelters when they were under one-year-old, so I have experience taking care of puppies, dogs, and kittens. I have volunteered at animal rescues, and so also have experience taking care of cats. Of course, I will take care of the basics like feeding and walks, but I will also make sure that your pups and cats are engaged and comfortable in our home. I will treat your furry family member with the same care I give to my own! I am home all the time! I will be available to take pups for walks, or attend to cats who need some play time, whenever I am needed. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to play in, and a large house for cats to run around. Our pup is about thirty pounds and very friendly. The cats stay in the house but have the run of the whole house, save the basement and the attic. I live very close to a dog park and can easily take dogs there.
