About: i have two small dogs (dug and diesel) and absolutely love animals! senior dog experience and super flexible hours. lots of love to go around for all kinds of pets :) i currently do commercial cleaning for KBW Cleaning so my hours are super flexible and usually are pretty short i also do doordash but that won't be an issue getting in the way i'm willing to do just about anything from walks, appointments, play dates, and more. i have 2 dogs i take care of on a daily basis and they are always looking for new friends

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, growing up on a family farm in southwest Minnesota with sheep, horses, hogs, dogs, and more than a few barn cats. As a dedicated 4-H and FFA member, I gained hands-on experience in showmanship, agility, obedience, and daily animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as an animal care technician for the Richmond SPCA in Virginia and Companions Animal Hospital in St. Cloud, MN, caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. My duties included walking, grooming, bathing, administering medications, and providing enrichment. I hold a Silver-level Low Stress Handling certification with 20 hours of specialized training. These days, I care for my two senior English Springer Spaniels, maintain a community fish tank, and regularly watch my family’s pets and farm animals. About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: Long time pet owner, trainer, and sitter. Experience with many household pets. Verified assistance dog raiser/sitter with Can Do Canines. Previously owned mastiff, bully breed dogs, hounds, huskies, also cats, gerbils, rats, zebra finches, fresh water and saltwater tropical fish. About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am pet CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.

About: I'm familiar with several different sizes and breeds of pets. Some dogs, some cats. I'm used to always having a pet around. I enjoy spending time with pets. I'm currently doing what I can for work on my own. I'm hoping pet care can become another thing I do. Let me know what you need accomplished and when. About: Through either the companion animals my wife and I have welcomed into our home, or through the work I did at the local animal shelter as both a kennel attendant and volunteer, one of my few passions in life is providing care to and spending time with animals. For a number of years, I lived with companion rabbits—our time with them taught me a lot of patience, and gave me a heightened sense of when something might be wrong with their health. For a few years we lived with a special needs cat, and we currently are living with an Olde English Bulldog—all of these animals are of course different, for myriad reasons, but they also have a number of similarities in the personalities that if you spend enough time around them, you'll grow to see and understand. The time I spent as a volunteer and attendant at the shelter was a great lesson in how to be efficient and effective in tending to a number of animals at once—sometimes upwards of 20 cats that all needed their areas cleaned, food and water refreshed, and sometimes given medication. As a volunteer I worked with especially shy and frightened animals who had recently been surrendered and were not adjusting well to life at the shelter. This, like my own time living with rabbits, was the chance to learn more patience, and work with an animal until they open up more. I am, like, very available to care for your animal. Friday and Saturday I have a commitment in the morning, but would be ready to check in on whomever after 11 a.m certainly, and I would like to think that overall, I am relatively flexible and can manage time well. In my own home, I more or less put an animal's needs ahead of my own. If I were to check in on an animal of any kind in someone else's home, I would be respectful of their house rules, and also try to get to know the animal within their own space and interact with them there.

About: I’ve loved dogs as long as i can remember, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, had a Labrador Retriever growing up. My passion really began when neighbors would start asking me to dog sit for them. I always knew I wanted to do something with animals (mainly dogs.) a family friend told me about Rover & I immediately knew I had to become a sitter. I am very trustworthy and reliable & easy to reach! I currently do not have any pets in my home which makes me a great sitter if your dog isn’t a fan of other dogs/animals! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs & care for them. I currently only work 3 days a week for 4 hours so I’m VERY flexible! You can always count on the fact that your dog is SAFE. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, I will keep your dog leashed unless you say otherwise!

About: I have owned both cats and dogs, and I love the care that comes with owning these selfless creatures. Whether it’s playing string with cats, or going for long walks with energetic dogs, it’s a joy to interact with each of their unique personalities. I’m a dog park regular, a cat favorite and have experience with dogs from training puppies to working with elderly dogs. My schedule is, at this time in my life, rather open. I’m not in school right now, and I am lucky to be able to do pet-sitting as a steady means of work at this time in my life. During the week, I typically have a few consistent dogs that I walk for, as well as a few overnight pet-sitting jobs a few times per month. I’d love for you to be one of them! Because of this, it makes it easier for me to stay with the pet for a majority of the time, if desired. If I need to leave, it’s usually just to go home and cook my husband dinner, do a few errands or to walk/check on another pet. It all depends on your pet’s needs and habits. Feeding, bathroom and attention are the basics, but besides that I can be extremely active, going for long or several walks/day and lots of playing with toys, to more relaxed, following your animal’s needs. Hanging out with pets is as much for me as it is for the owner I’m working for and their pet. I find lots of fulfillment through spending time with animals, whether it’s my own or Rover clients. I have met many families on here that were strangers at first that eventually became a consistent friend/client.

About: I’ve taken care of small to big dogs for almost 10 years now. I have a dealt with a handful of reactive dogs as well as plenty non reactive dogs, I was taught how to read dogs body language about 6 months ago and I’m still working on improving! I have dealt with scuffles as well as dogs that were very persistent. Currently I am at a doggy daycare Fridays and Saturdays taking care of daycare and boarding dogs. Sunday thought Thursday I am at home taking care of my own dog by continuing his training, taking him on walks, playing with him, and watching him play with his sister. In my home I care for my pets by making sure I give them attention, exercise, mental stimulation, fun outside time with bones and toys, as well as making sure my puppy stays rested after a long day. When taking care of clients pets I treat them the exact same way and I make sure I follow the owners instructions to ensure the best care for the best pups!

About: I have owned a dog for the last 15 years and have taken care of all ages/types of dogs for family and friends! I am home during the week and on weekends. I have a 4 year old yellow lab who is extremely friendly with other dogs and is used to being around them. I have an acre fenced in yard in town with lots of room for the dogs to run around safe. We have the summers off and are very flexible during the week. We are also available most every weekend for weekend stays or week long stays. We have a large fenced (One acre) in yard and a four year old yellow lab named Earl who loves to run around. Our yard is very dog friendly!

About: I am a fourth-year Animal Science major at the University of Minnesota wanting to pursue vet school. I own a dog, two cats, and one horse personally. I grew up on the same 20 acres that my grandfather's small animal and equine veterinary practice resided so I am well versed in the vet-med functions. My grandma also bred Miniature Aussies when I was a kid so I am very comfortable with puppy-age alongside the energy of herding dogs. I have overnight pet sat for numerous friends and neighbors alongside just check-ins throughout the day. These animals have ranged from cows, horses, goats, chickens, and dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with numerous different personalities as I have watched a friend's boarding kennel for numerous different weekends. I usually go home every weekend so am typically just available Monday-Friday Morning as I am scheduled to work at home alongside wanting to see my own animals. I try to follow their usual routine in their own home which can range from feeding them at their usual time and going outside for walks or potty time. I also allow them to sleep in the bed with me if that is what they are used to. The least abnormal day for them is the goal.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 9 years old and have always helped family and friends with their dogs when they went on vacation, overnights, etc. I now have 2 dogs- a 6 yr old Beagle/Dachshund mix and a 2 yr old German Shepherd. I also have 2 kids, ages 11 and 12. I treat my dogs like family, we adore them! Dogs are just better than people! I’m currently working part-time so I would be available according to that schedule. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can work from home at times. We don’t have a fence right now but we will once the snow melts and my husband can put one up. We live in Randolph, MN. I love animals, I’m always talking to mine and loving up on them- lots of cuddles and fun. We do dog puzzles, frozen enrichment bones, play fetch or my Kacey’s favorite, “chase me!”
