About: I have over five years of experience caring for my own dog and grew up around dogs as well. When I was younger my family had two dogs, so I’ve been around animals for most of my life. I’ve also helped watch and care for family members’ dogs when they needed help, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I’ve developed strong skills in feeding routines, walking and exercise, recognizing basic animal behavior, maintaining a clean environment, and providing attentive care to keep pets safe and happy. I’m attentive to pets’ needs and behaviors and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being As an Animal Science student, I’m passionate about animal care and enjoy spending time with dogs of different personalities and energy levels. As a college student, my schedule is flexible and allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I plan my classes and responsibilities so I can dedicate time to walking and spending quality time with pets. I’m available on weekdays and can work around your pet’s routine to make sure they stay comfortable and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I would follow the pet owner’s instructions closely for feeding schedules, walks, and any special needs. I’ll also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. My goal would be to create a calm and welcoming environment so pets feel at home while their owners are away.

Your Pet's home away from home. Taking care of your babies is important, by providing a Pet friendly neighborhood with a park a block away and a fenced in backyard for your pets to enjoy. My experience in Pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I'm currently working from home full-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets. I'm availble weekdays and weekends from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. I have a fenced in back yard and I'm an empty nester so can provide your fur baby with all the attention they need. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

Robert has been taking my dog, Craig, for walks on a weekly basis for about six months now. I highly recommend him as he has been very friendly, dependable, and reliable. Robert took really good care of Craig and made sure his needs were met during each visit, especially during times when Craig wasn’t feeling well. He also took the best dog photos which were a joy to receive in the middle of a work shift. I’m very satisfied with his services overall!

About: I love caring for dogs and have experience with all ages. I currently have a Redbone Coonhound and French Bulldog. They’re both very friendly, get along well with other dogs, and love to play, so I’m comfortable caring for both energetic and laid-back pups. I work hybrid and I live very close to the office. So it’s no problem being available to make sure your pet is taken care of. My dogs would love to keep your pet company throughout the day! They enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch, and spending time with other dogs. Whether your pet loves to play or just wants a companion to relax with, they’ll feel right at home.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love, patience, and attention I give every animal in my care. I currently have a Husky, a Pitbull, and a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. From active dogs that love long walks and playtime to cats that need a calm and caring environment, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ve also cared for many cats over the years and know that every pet has their own routine and unique needs. I treat every animal like family and focus on providing reliable, loving care while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. My passion for animals truly shows in the patience, care, and attention I give to every pet I meet. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals is something I truly enjoy. I work full time, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the attention, walks, playtime, and care they need throughout the week. I’m also available on weekends, which gives me even more time to focus on providing quality care and companionship. As a pet owner myself with a Husky, a Pitbull, and a cat, I’m already used to maintaining feeding schedules, exercise routines, and giving pets lots of love and attention every day. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm environment, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved whether they are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in their own home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions from the owner. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. In my home, pets will have a clean, safe, and caring environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Since I have experience with both high-energy dogs and cats, I’m comfortable handling different personalities and energy levels. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel relaxed in their familiar environment while also keeping the home clean, secure, and well cared for. I provide updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and in good hands.

About: I have had my fur baby since 2012 and so far she is perfect. I really don't have professional experience but I have tons of personal experience from taking care of my fur baby, my friends and family fur babies. I have tons of love to give to any fur baby. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed! I am currently doing this full time for a short period of time. Unfortunately I can't do boarding or day care but will do Drop in Visits and Walking. I am a US Navy veteran and a dog lover! I can take them out potty regularly during the day, treats after each potty break, will take them to the park for walks. Fur babies can get on the couch with me, enough dog beds and blankets to go around for naps. Food and water available. (owner should bring own food so diet is not changed). I have a 9lbs dog who is 9 years old, she is a lap dog, very calm, loves naps and likes to play. She doesn't do well around extremely hyper dogs but she will play with active dogs. She gets along with any size dog but I prefer small dogs as my mom has a fear of big dogs.

About: Hi y'all! I've been a pet owner for about 3 years- I have two cats Jake and Abbie and a hamster named Charlotte. While I was growing up, my family always had a dog. I learned from a young age how to take care of them. I always loved taking care of our pets and learned quickly what they needed. I'm a great dog walker and love giving puppy love and snuggles! I've been a pet sitter for several years for friends and co-workers. Our family dogs always loved to play, so I'm good at engaging a dog to play fetch, tug of rope, etc. I have a loving heart and thoroughly enjoy taking care of animals! I'm also great with cats and other animals. I've had a few hamsters over the years and enjoy taking care of them as well!

Our girl Bailey loves Jessica. Bailey is usually territorial when meeting new people inside the house for the first time but Jessica was very patient with her and now they are best friends. It’s nice to have peace of mind knowing that Bailey is so well cared for when we cannot be home.

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
