“Abby really enjoyed her time with Susan and her family and I felt completely comfortable that she was well taken care of. From the pictures and the videos we received it was clear Abby was getting the love and exercise she needs. Susan’s girls were so friendly and showered Abby with love and attention from the initial meet and greet. I would definitely ask Susan to sit for Abby in the future.”

“We left our very anxious dog, Judo, with Sarah and Erik for 2 weeks while we went out of state for our wedding. She can really struggle with new people and men, but she warmed up well (it took a few days but that’s just Judo)! I got many updates, pictures, and videos all showing me that Judo was having a good time. I could not have picked anyone better to watch her. She got along great with their dog, Rosie, who was happy to play or just hang out! I would absolutely have Judo stay with them again.”

“Bentley loved staying with Alison & Richard. They took care of him as if he was their own. He loved playing with their dogs and enjoyed the fenced in yard. I will be using them again in the future”

“Jessica was great! Extremely responsive and sent so many pics and videos. I could tell my pup was having so much fun with her pups and was very well taken care of.”

“I can't say enough positive things about my and my pup's experience with Brad. 1. Booking/Communication - From the initial booking, Brad was communicative and responsive ensuring that I would feel comfortable even before I dropped my pup off. 2. Drop off - At drop-off, Brad was extremely attentive to understand the unique needs of my pup especially as it pertained to his medication. In my moving around, I forgot to bring something my pup needed. Brad was extremely helpful in getting it resolved so that my pup's stay would be just fine. Additionally, Brad went out of his way to ask how, and what frequency, I wanted to be updated on my pup's stay. 3. Stay - My pup had a fantastic time staying with Brad and having pup siblings at Brad's house. I'm confident of this not only because, true to his word, Brad was not only communicative about what was going on each day (for the entire ~3wk stay), but he also sent pictures and videos with funny notes! I could see that my dog was active not only outside but inside the home, was playing well with the other dogs, and was being loved and snuggled daily. 4. Pick-up - The day of pick-up, my flight was delayed impacting my ability to pick-up my pup on time. Brad was completely understanding and was communicative to ensure that I had no worries. When I arrived to pick up my pup, all of the things I sent with my pup came home in great condition AND Brad sent me home with a treat that he had graciously been giving my pup as well! I could tell my pup was excited to go home but was sad to leave Brad and his new friends! Overall, we will DEFINITELY use Brad again and recommend him to anyone that is looking for someone to treat their pup like family when they have to go away. Thanks again, Brad!”

Growing up, I had dogs, cats, a pig, and a variety of small animals, giving me hands-on experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. For more than 20 years, I've provided pet and house sitting for friends and family, caring for everything from farm animals to energetic puppies, senior pets, and cats. I'm comfortable with pets who have special needs and have experience administering medications, including oral medications, allergy injections, and insulin shots. I work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide dependable care for your pets. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, drop-in visits, or overnight in-home care, I can accommodate a variety of schedules while making sure they receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care. When you're away, I'll treat your pets and your home with the same respect, patience, and love that I would my own. My goal is to help your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind.
“Kelly did a fantastic job taking care of our cat. This was the first time we hired a pet sitter so we were a little nervous about how our 16-year old Rascal would do. Kelly alleviated all our concerns and did a wonderful job. Having the notification of each visit and pictures is a real bonus. Would definitely hire Kelly again! And rover.com makes everything so simple and easy.”

“Trinity was amazing to work with! Cannot recommend her more. We posted the need late, but we were so fortunate that Trinity accepted the task...of our 4 cats, one of which needed medication daily. She even got our little Pepper to come out from hiding. She took the time and care to be sure they were getting their needs met. Can't say enough good about Trinity.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve had the joy of sharing my home with several amazing cats—Petey, Gus Gus, Olliver, and long-term fosters Stormy and Odie. Each had their own unique personality and quirks, which taught me how to connect with cats of all temperaments. Whether it’s a playful kitten or a reserved senior cat, I understand the individualized care they need to thrive. Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve worked professionally in the pet care industry. At Banfield Pet Hospital, I designed educational training coursework for veterinary practice employees, which gave me a deeper understanding of feline health, behavior, and best care practices. This, combined with my volunteer work fostering kittens for the Oregon Humane Society, has helped me develop skills in administering medications, providing enrichment, and creating a calm, safe environment. I know that every cat has a distinct way of showing affection and independence, so I always tailor my care to fit their unique needs. Whether it’s engaging playtime, gentle grooming, or simply offering companionship, I’m here to ensure your feline friend feels safe, comfortable, and well-loved while you’re away. Let’s connect and discuss how I can care for your furry companion!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Stanley
“Always happy to see river. Gives updates and after daycare updates. Clear communication. I would use her again and have used her several times. I like that she has a big yard and a dog for River to play with.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, caring for animals isn't just something I do—it's part of my daily life. My family homestead is home to dogs, cats, and a thriving garden, so providing attentive, compassionate care comes naturally to me. When your pet stays with me, they become part of the family. Unlike traditional kennels, pets enjoy a comfortable home environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I have a large fenced area for safe outdoor time and exercise, as well as multiple levels within my home that allow me to accommodate different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your pet loves to socialize or prefers a quieter space to relax, I can create an environment where they feel comfortable and secure. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and quirks so their stay feels as close to home as possible. You'll receive regular updates, photos, and communication throughout your pet's stay because I know how important peace of mind is when you're away. My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, loved, and treated like one of my own. I'm a teacher currently home for the summer, spending my days building our family homestead. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily routine, from tending to our dogs and cats, to working in the garden and enjoying life outdoors. Because I'm home and actively caring for my own animals throughout the day, welcoming boarding pets into my home feels like a natural extension of the life I'm already living. I have a fenced yard, lots of room indoors, and multiple levels to give pets the quiet or fun they desire. I have routines to care for our animals and will be glad to follow whatever your pet is used to!
About: Hi! My husband and I are both hybrid workers, so we’re home often and have flexible schedules that allow us to spend quality time with the dogs we watch. We live in a two-story home with no kids or pets of our own, which means your dog will have a calm, quiet environment with plenty of space to play and relax. Since there aren’t other animals or distractions, we’re able to give your dog our full attention, lots of love, and care tailored just to them. My experience with dogs goes back to when I was 3 years old, and had my first family dog that I grew up with like a sibling! From that moment, I always treated dogs as part of the family. I rescued my second dog while I was in college from a shelter, and I also spent many years pet sitting for my neighbors, which was truly a dream job because I got to spend all day long playing with dogs. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, gentleness, and routine they often need—whether it's administering medications, helping them up stairs, or just giving them a peaceful spot to nap. We work full-time, but have hybrid schedules where we work from home most of the week. We make sure to rotate our in office days so one of us is always home. We are able to provide potty breaks every hour! For exercise, our neighborhood is suitable for long walks. We also have a yard where we can play with your dog, as well as several nearby trails.

About: What sets me apart is my ability to take pet care seriously without taking myself too seriously. I’m patient, observant, calm, and respectful of routines. I’m especially great with independent pets, seniors, shy animals, and anyone who needs a gentle, steady presence rather than chaos. I’m naturally nurturing, detail-oriented, and calm. I believe animals deserve consistency, patience, and kindness. I’m the type of person who talks to pets like they understand (because… they do), celebrates small wins like a voluntary cuddle, and never rushes trust. I take pride in being reliable, warm, and easy to work with. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule intentionally, allowing time for feedings, check-ins, play, and quiet companionship. I’m consistent, punctual, and flexible, and I never treat pet care like an afterthought. Its something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I treat every home and pet with respect and care. I follow instructions closely, double-check doors and routines, and keep environments calm and secure. I prioritize cleanliness, safety, and your pet’s comfort at all times. Trust matters to me! Both yours and your pet’s and I work to earn it every visit.
“This was my first time using Rover to find someone that would look after our pup for the day. Christina was very upfront answered all my questions and concerns. When the day came to meet and drop off our dog, after talking with Christina I felt better. She sent pictures throughout the the and texts to let us know what she and our dog was doing. To make a long story short, things went so well that I asked Christina if she was available for a later date. Our dog liked her that’s all that mattered.”
“Frances was great! She provided several updates via photos and texts during Junie’s stay and that made me very comfortable and appreciative. She seems to really love the animals like they’re her own. We will definitely book her again.”

“Katie has always done a wonderful job taking care of Nym! Her dog Winston and Nym love playing with each other and I look forward to giving them many more play dates in the future.”

I am a teacher and on the weekends and in the summer I am home and ready to love on your dog! I have a fenced in yard and a dog who loves other dogs. My yard is fenced and all areas of my home are open to dogs. Dogs will be fed separately and I can have toys available or not depending on temperament. I am currently working full time, most of my days are work from home. Your pet will get the love and care they deserve. I have a huge yard and love walking around the neighborhood. “My Husky is so loved and well taken care of with Jennifer and Matthew. I work long days, and can trust that she's gotten all her zoomies out and is super happy when I pick her up. That's a huge relief for me knowing she gets her needs met while I'm working.”

About: Growing up, my family always had dogs. Once our children started playing high school and college sports, we became too busy to have a dog of our own. For the past several years, we have taken family and friends dogs for long weekends, week-long stays...whatever we could do to get our "dog fix". It was a win for us and a win for our family and friends. My wife and I take lots of walks in the Charlotte area and we always love to stop and pet friendly dogs! I work remotely from our house, and would love to have some company while my wife is at work. And, it would be a great excuse to get up and go for a walk a few times a day. Your dog would get lots of attention and love while they are here. I could also stop by your house to let your dog out and go for a walk. Really do love dogs and miss having one around. We would be doing each other a favor!
“Kritika was absolutely amazing! She got us in on a last minute request and I’m very grateful she did. She also responds super fast which I loved. Winston had such a blast with her family! He was so happy and so tired after an eventful day with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, she’s pretty great .”

“Vanessa was amazing. She took my dog when I was in a last minute pinch. She made sure to meet up first to see that our dogs would get along. She checked if there was anything Lucy needed to attend to her special needs. Lucy came home happy and well exercised.”

“Robert has been taking my dog, Craig, for walks on a weekly basis for about six months now. I highly recommend him as he has been very friendly, dependable, and reliable. Robert took really good care of Craig and made sure his needs were met during each visit, especially during times when Craig wasn’t feeling well. However Amelia and Grant were so accommodating and genuine, that I was very quickly set at ease. I received multiple pics every day where Archer looked settled and happy, so i knew he was in good hands! Highly recommend Amelia and Grant and glad to have found them on here!”

“Florence took great care of our dog Rowdy while we were away for 3 days. It was his first time being boarded, but he felt right at home with her. We truly appreciate the love and attention she gave him and will definitely use her services again in the future!”

“Bri was a great dog sitter! She was super responsive and took my dog in last minute notice. She sent pictures right away letting me know my dog was doing good from the beginning. She has kids, and she is very respectful of shy and anxious puppies with the kids, making sure they don’t overwhelm your dog and just made for a super easy hand off. Would always let Bri watch my puppy!”

“Happy pups!! 🐶 Frances took great care of my babies as well as kept me posted on their well being throughout their stay. I couldn’t be more pleased! I will definitely continue to contact Frances when I need a pup sitter for my fur babies in the future!”

“We are truly grateful for the exceptional care Lipika provided to our dog during his stay. From the very beginning, it was evident that she treated him with the utmost kindness and attention, as though he were her own. She ensured he was well-fed, took him on regular walks, and kept him engaged with toys and play. We also greatly appreciated the thoughtful updates she sent us, including photos and videos, which allowed us to see how happy and comfortable he was throughout the day. It was a pleasure knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. We highly recommend her services.”

“This was the first time I have left Buddy for a week. Amanda was amazing with sending updates with pictures When we had our meet & greet Buddy was so comfortable with Amanda and Her house. When I picked Him up, Buddy seemed like He didn't want to leave, which is Great for Amanda and was a little sad for Me lol. I would recommend Amanda for all your needs, She is now family to Us and Buddy.”

About: We’ve both been around dogs our entire lives, and caring for them has always been a natural part of our home. We’ve also fostered dogs, which gave us experience welcoming dogs with different personalities, routines, energy levels, and comfort needs into our family. We currently share our home with Winston, our friendly French Bulldog, who loves having new friends around! We understand that every dog is different, so we take the time to learn your pup’s normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and what helps them feel most comfortable. We’re comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, including dogs who need medication or a little extra patience and attention. Whether your dog loves playing in the yard, going for a walk, curling up on the couch, or simply being close to people, we want their stay to feel as much like home as possible. Most importantly, we know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. We’ll treat your pup like part of our family and keep you updated with plenty of photos so you can relax knowing they’re safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our everyday routine! Between the two of us, we have flexibility in our schedules that allows us to give our four-legged guests plenty of attention throughout the day. Our days already revolve around our own dog, Winston, so potty breaks, backyard time, playtime, meals, and lots of attention are part of our normal routine. We have a fenced-in backyard that makes it easy for the dogs to get outside frequently throughout the day, whether they want to play, explore, or just enjoy some fresh air. When your dog stays with us, we’ll do our best to keep them on the routine they’re used to at home—including feeding times, medications, bedtime routines, walks, and any special instructions you provide. We want their stay with us to feel like part of their normal life, just with a few new friends and a little extra spoiling! Your dog’s safety and comfort are always our top priorities. We have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, and we never leave guest dogs outside unattended. We take introductions with our dog, Winston, slowly and supervise interactions so everyone has time to get comfortable with one another. We understand that not every dog wants to play or be social all the time, so we’re happy to provide separate spaces when someone needs a little quiet time to relax and decompress. We also have crates available if your dog is crate-trained and feels most comfortable having their own familiar space. Inside our home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They’re welcome to relax with us, play, snuggle, and settle in just like they would at home. We follow each owner’s instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medications, potty schedules, walks, sleeping arrangements, and household rules so we can keep your dog’s routine as familiar as possible. We also believe trust means keeping you in the loop. You can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during your dog’s stay, and we’ll always reach out if we have a question or notice anything unusual. Our goal is for you to feel just as comfortable with your dog staying here as your pup feels being here.
“Michael was very easy to schedule with. I am so happy he was available for a last minute trip. I particularly wanted him to watch my pup as he works from home (as I do) which allowed Libbie to feel love and attention at all times. Yes, we all like to spoil our pups!! I have already scheduled my next trip with him as I know she will be well taken care of, exercise is awesome with her own playmate. When I picked her up she was happy and well cared for.”
