“I was really nervous about leaving my 6 pound chihuahua with a new person while I went to work during the day. With 3 of 4 legs not working, and a weak bladder, Pinky is quite fragile. Her stay with Madeline was wonderful. She coaxed her to eat, separated her from all dogs except her little terrier, and was forgiving of Pinky’s incontinence. While I hope tomorrow at Pinky’s neurologist visit we can get some answers and Pinky will be strong enough to be left alone after the holidays, if we need daycare again we will definitely be back.”

About: I have had pets since I was 9 years old. I have taken care of my own pets, as well as friends and family’s pets since I was a teenager. I have a dog (curly white dog in photos), but he does not live with me. I work from home all week so can accommodate any needs your fur baby will need. Although I am at my desk most of the day, I am flexible with any pet needs your pet will need. My primary residence does not currently have any pets, so my full attention will be on your animal. I have a small, gated area at the back of my residence that can allow for any quality outdoor time.

About: I have been a dog lover my whole life, and I grew up around big dogs (chow-chows). I am comfortable with all sorts of dogs as I have dog-sat for a variety of different breeds, ages, and temperaments from hyperactive German Shepherds to senior Chihuahuas. I also worked at a veterinary technology center for a number of years where I cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, hamsters, rats, and birds. Because of this experience and my own personal experience with a senior dog, I am comfortable administering medication, and I am familiar with the challenges that come with older animals. I am also comfortable with multiple animals at a time as well as special needs animals—both of which I have cared for in the past. I work full-time mostly from home, though I teach classes (2-4 hours) in person twice a week. I have a pretty flexible schedule, so let's talk about how we can make it work! I live in an apartment with two sets of stairs (one to get up to my apartment and one flight inside the apartment itself). I currently do not have any pets or roommates so I'm flexible with pets who are less social.

“I really want to leave 4.95 stars! Muzammal “Muz” is a gentleman and a scholar…literally! He welcomed my 2 mixes (rescues) with open arms. We did go over some specifics about my dogs at drop off, but due to Muz’s experience with dogs, you can see his confidence. And you know Muz makes a good pack leader when both of my dogs followed him back into his apartment with no problem. No issues for the duration of the dog sitting. My kids and I were in town to watch PSU wrestling and Muz was available! Regular communication throughout the day and the summary report of the visit, with photos! I asked his opinion of my dogs…he was spot on! At pick up both dogs were calm due to Muz walking them about 3 times. He lives within a 5min walking distance to a beautiful dog park! Solid option here for anyone in need of his services in State College!”
