“It was a good price for what we needed last minute for our pups—they were not as transparent as we are used too (i.e. we did not go inside their house to see where they’d be staying- my dog gets into food and overeats, so wanted to warn and also it’s hot in St. George so wanted to make sure they could stay inside. Communicated with wife and only saw husband, just awkward to know who we were talking to. Each picture of our dogs were outside in St. George triple digit heat, and we worried they didn’t get the water they needed) it felt confirmed when our dogs guzzled almost a gallon of water upon return and one threw up 3 times from too much water. They did respond promptly and were ready at drop off and return. And our dogs are okay! Simple transaction.”

“We had a Great experience. Good communication and very friendly. I LOVED the pics she sent!! I felt very comfortable and safe with leaving my dog and would definitely recommend her. Thank you, Luna!!”

“I had boarded my Great Pyrenees Buddy with Bonnie for two nights. She is amazing - messaged me with updates on how he was doing and sent me photos. She is so great, super nice and kind. Buddy got a long with her pets and family. It was our first time boarding him and he did fantastic. Definitely will be revisiting Bonnie if she’ll have us again!”

“My dog has severe anxiety, and Conrad made sure he was as comfortable as possible. The quality of care exceeded my expectations. It was a very personable experience, and it put my mind at ease. I will definitely bring Dexter back again!”

“Chandra took wonderful care of our pup! She and her husband were warm and helpful when we dropped him off, and Chandra sent photos and updates throughout his stay. Pickup was just as easy and even included a holiday gift! :-) Most importantly, our dog seemed happy and healthy when we got him back. Thank you, Chandra!”

“Shaun always shares cute pictures and intentional updates. I appreciate that my pup always comes home happy, and feels safe while in his care. I know this by her happy demeanor when she gets home. Thanks Shaun!”

“Very attentive to my boy Maximus. Sent me videos and pictures and I loved that he was walked everyday! I would definitely use her services again. Max was happy to have so much attention!”

“Liz was great! She sent me photos regularly and updated me on how Callie was doing. I would definitely use Liz again and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a pet sitter. She responded immediately to any questions I had leading up to the stay and was accommodating with drop off and pickup times. I had no hesitations leaving my pup and will definitely use her again if she is available.”

“The Bestest Family & Sitters around! She is so thoughtful, seems me adorable pics of my doggie. Beam our 🐕 doggie, loves her and muchly. We appreciate her great care of our best buddy 🐶 and pal!”

“Marlon was great! It was the first time Izzy had ever been away from us and she had a little trouble adjusting. He kept us informed of how everything was going and by the second day, she was playing with the other dogs. The fenced in back yard was a definite plus.”

“We left our Doberman, Twyla, with Stacey and couldn’t be happier with the service. Making the arrangements for the stay was super easy. Stacey and her husband are clearly dog lovers and lead an active life with their dog. They even took Twyla for a hike in the mountains, an activity that Twyla can’t get enough of. She sent pictures and an update each day. I have no hesitation in recommending Stacey and would definitely like to board Twyla there again.”
“Amy is great! We have left our dog with her two times and she does a great job sending us pictures and updates. She even watched our dog within an hours notice- thanks again! We will definitely be using her in the future.”

About: I am a stay at home mom to 5 kids. They love dogs and your dog will get plenty of attention. We have a 4 year old soft coated wheaten terrier. She is super friendly and loves to play with other dogs. She had puppies last summer the kids and I are comfortable and know how to take care of puppies and dogs. Unfortunately we can only care for non shedding or hypoallergenic dogs. We prefer dogs who sleep in a kennel at night. I am a stay at home mom so I’m available most times and can let your dog out frequently for potty breaks. I am flexible. We have a fenced yard with plenty of space for your pet to play. I can also come to your home and take care of your pet there.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Springdale
Liz was absolutely wonderful! We had a last minute trip to Zion and really wanted to hike the narrows but be respectful of hotel rules re leaving dogs in the room. However, we recently had someone bring an aggressive dog to our home, which has or may have altered how our big male views other dogs. Not wanting to chance it, Liz agreed to meet us the day before and, of course, everything was fine. The dogs were happy, we were able hike the Narrows without worrying. She sent pictures and was just super. Great communication! She is also conveniently located in town and has a separate room and fenced yard where our pups could be kept if they didn’t get along well. **this was also our first time using Rover. Will use it again!

I was able to book Liz last minute for my very timid/fearful of many things, pup. It went better than I could have asked for! She sent plenty of pics with Phyllis looking happy & warmed up to their household (unusual for her to relax so quickly). I would most definitely use Liz again to safely & lovingly watch my girl. Highly recommend!

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Springdale home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
