“It was a good price for what we needed last minute for our pups—they were not as transparent as we are used too (i.e. we did not go inside their house to see where they’d be staying- my dog gets into food and overeats, so wanted to warn and also it’s hot in St. George so wanted to make sure they could stay inside. Communicated with wife and only saw husband, just awkward to know who we were talking to. Each picture of our dogs were outside in St. George triple digit heat, and we worried they didn’t get the water they needed) it felt confirmed when our dogs guzzled almost a gallon of water upon return and one threw up 3 times from too much water. They did respond promptly and were ready at drop off and return. And our dogs are okay! Simple transaction.”

She is super friendly and loves to play with other dogs. She had puppies last summer the kids and I are comfortable and know how to take care of puppies and dogs. Unfortunately we can only care for non shedding or hypoallergenic dogs. We prefer dogs who sleep in a kennel at night. I am a stay at home mom so I’m available most times and can let your dog out frequently for potty breaks. I am flexible. We have a fenced yard with plenty of space for your pet to play. I’m currently doing school online, so I’m home and able to give dogs a lot of attention, playtime, and care. About: Hello, I’m Sam! I offer pet care in the Kanab area of Utah! I’ve been petsitting and dog walking on and off for about 17 years and have experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve also been working in Dogtown at Best Friends for about a year and a half now. I have four herdy dogs of my own plus three cats and two horses- a full house. But there’s always room for a guest or two. I’m a big believer in doing what the animal likes best- whether that be hanging out sunbathing, watching tv on the couch, playing with toys, going for a walk or training for some treats. I’m familiar with all breeds, temperaments, sizes and energy levels. I can also give meds if needed and most other special requests. Traveling with your pets? As long as they're friendly, I don’t require a meet and greet! For boarding and daycare guests: I have a spare, cozy guest room set up for dog guests they can stay in, plus access to the rest of my house while I'm around. They will likely only interact with one of my dogs, but will have to be ok with cats. They will only see children if the kids are out in the yard. My yard is technically fenced in, but 3 of my dogs don’t follow the rules, so I’ll probably keep guests on a leash. I’m a dog care specialist at Best Friends so I am pretty busy up there, but can stop in before or after work, as well as on my lunch break if needed! My days off are Tuesday and Wednesday, so I’m available anytime during those days and can even take your pup(s) out for a longer hike! Weather dependent, of course. I care for your pets like they’re my own! I like to keep things fun, do what they like to do, and give them a positive experience.
