“I could not be more appreciative of Catherine! She was very easy to communicate with, she kept me updated on when she would be there, and she sent multiple updates and pictures! It was a very last minute booking, and I couldn’t have made a better choice!”

“Emily was great! She did drop in visits for us while we were out of town. She was very prompt in responding back to our messages and sent us pictures of our fur babies which helped put our kind at ease :)”

About: I’ve always had and been around family pets. Pets are such a blessing to each and every family. I’d love to help those of you who may need a little extra help while you’re out making money for their treats and toys I have full time availability. Any hour of any day will work, I just need a heads up. As long as I can have hours for self care, I’m good to go! I will make sure any and all pets are cared for. I’ll be sure to ask questions like if your cat is permitted to be outdoors and if your dog door darts! As well as any special needs they may have or special diets.

“Brandon looked and took care of our dogs as if it was his own. He is also very communicative and provided us daily updates. Also went the extra mile and cleaned after our pups even though he didn’t have to…highly recommend! And def would rebook again!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, and I’ve been taking care of them pretty much since I was able to take care of myself 😂 I love being able to meet new babies and take care of them! I’m currently between jobs, so I have time for taking care of even the most routine-loving pets. Plus, I am able to pop in whenever needed if that’s all you want me to do! I like to think of myself as very good at following instructions, even if your pet won’t 😂 and I like to make sure my job is done right.

“We have never used someone we didn’t know to watch our pets and to have Julia was a godsend. One of our pets had continual accidents while we were away and Julia took it in stride and rolled with the punches. She was absolutely fabulous. She communicated well and answered any questions we had. We also needed to add additional visits and she helped us navigate that. If we have a trip in the future we will be using her again! Thank you so much Julia!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Springboro. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
