About: I’m reducing my current job schedule to part time as a mental health therapist in order to engage in my passions. With this in mind, I would love to direct my empathy, patience, and connection towards any animal(s). I currently own 3 cats and would want nothing but the best for them if I were to be away and so I will use this as my guide when keeping care of your pets. I have been around animals most of my life and have taken care of dogs, and cats primarily for family, friends, and strangers throughout my career experience. About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. During the school year, I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. This means that my summers are very open and free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

About: I’ve had a furry friend my entire life, and have looked after animals that need immediate or intense care, or are in need of a home for 12 years. I work from home and am able to take breaks as needed to care for pets. I have most things delivered and rarely leave home for more than an hour at a time. I have been on Rover for a few years now and have experienced alot so far but I am sure that I will still get a surprise here and there! I try to take all surprises with grace and just learn from them! We have: bones, hard yak cheese sticks, frisbee, balls, soft stuffy toys, rope toys, bubble machine, dog pool and pounce sprinkler, lick mats, sniff mats, puzzle toys, we do some arts and crafts (typically on or near holidays), homemade frozen enrichment bowls, if you request a bath for your dog I have multiple deshedding tools. Blankets, crates, extra bowls and diapers if needed. I am investing a lot into my doggy business. I recently made a small indoor gated area that has mats layed down for optimal comfort during indoor play and sleeping. I am in the process of creating an additional fenced in area in my yard that will feature a sand pit for those that love to dig, turf grass to contain the mud and a climbing feature for king of the hill! I can give your dog the patience it may need for basic training along with draining out some of the coopt up energy so they can listen better! Training in wee hours doesnt bother me at all and can even be fun. I have kids that are not rough or overly involved with animals and that also know some basic training. I currently work from home so am pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating what works best for my pet parents! My mom is also very helpful in the chance that I do leave home, she resides with me! I have a decent sized fenced backyard for being in the city. We love to play fetch and run perimeter. Inside we like to use our indoor manners. Typically all of the dogs sleep together with blankets and cushions that I provide in a space that is about 10x10. I do have crates to utilize if it is the pet parents preference or if we have concerns with potty or chewing issues (I may utilize a doggy diaper when in doors if your dog marks inside) . Some dogs do get to sleep in a separate space from other dogs or in a room with one of my kids if that is where they feel the most comfortable and behave the best.

About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: I’ve owned multiple dogs my whole life, from our current German Shepherd and Siberian Husky to the two pugs we adopted when I was in high school to the lovey dog we found as a kid that we named Scooby-Doo because he looked just like him. I’ve helped care for all of them from walks around the block to feeding time to going outside just for potty and play time. I’ve also helped out a few friends with their dogs since high school while they were away. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a decently open schedule after my kids go to school in the morning and once my husband gets home from work during the week and am available during all hours of the weekend. If you are comfortable with your pets coming to my house I have two very friendly dogs who love play dates if your fur babies play well with others and a big back yard and a fenced in side yard for plenty of running around room or games of fetch. If I’m watching your dog(s) at your home I will follow whatever schedule you have for them on top of making time for play, walks and love so that they don’t feel neglected in any way while you are away. I also am more than comfortable with giving them baths if need be.

About: My family always had dogs and cats while I was growing up. I sorted the pictures of the dogs I have known the longest to the shortest, with a photo of me at The Hemingway House in Key West FLA petting a cat. First is my childhood dog named Fezz who passed away in 2020. Second is my brothers beagle, Jack. Next is an old friend’s tan Pitbull named Louise. Then there is my dad’s white puppy named Piggie. The next photos are my friend Andy’s dogs. Two Bully Breeds. The white one is Biggie and the grey one is Gianna. I have watched them a few times and I walk them together. Biggie is a rescue and is considered a high risk dog. He has bit 10+ people, but he loves me so much and is very comfortable around me. I wouldn’t say I’m a dog whisperer, but I certainly have a way with dogs. I have watched my brother’s beagle as well a few times. When I lived in CO (about a decade ago) I watched a German Shepherd and an Alaskan Malamute. They were a handful and hard to walk together as they were both pretty big and strong, but I was still able to do it. I work remote doing life and health insurance, so I’m just looking for a side job to supplement my income until I build my book of business up. I could watch them at my house as I have a huge fenced in yard, but I would rather meet the animal at home where it’s most comfortable for them. When I watch Andy’s dogs, I watch them at his house.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have helped family and friends by watching their animals while they are gone. I enjoy spending time with animals. I work full time. I am mainly available in the evenings and weekends. My work schedule can vary some days and I may be available during the day. Us, as moms & dads our responsibility is their safety & comfortability. I am here to help, I personally understand. I provide and value an open & honest relationship between you and I. I work as a full-time license veterinarian technician. I want yo open up my knowledge, care and love where it is needed. I love taking care of animals, and being their voice when they even advocate. The passing of one of my girls couple of months ago, has sent my 2 year old lab mix, Miss Tullia into separation anxiety. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, where I learned the responsibility and care that goes into each individual pup! I recently worked for Boston Dog Butlers in Boston, and have moved home for the summer! I’ve been trained on all sizes, different breeds and different needs of dogs all while putting their safety first!
