6. Heidi M.
About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. I have 2 dogs a toy poodle and a pitbull mix they are both very friendly and great with new dogs and love to play. They would be amazing to keep your dog company.

7. Tommi F.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, etc. since I was 14. I grew up in a dog family but after our last one passed we are now a cat one! I have watched all sizes of dogs and different breeds as well. I have taken care of older pets, pets with disabilities, and know how to give them medication if needed. I work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7am-3pm, and Thursday from 7-11 or 12 every week but other than that I am a pretty open book. Weekends almost always look free for me! My boyfriend also helps me so he can provide additional assistance as needed. I have a fenced in yard. They are fed twice a day, once in morning and once at night. They are allowed on the furniture but are trained and good listeners. I give them lots of attention!

8. Anna M.
“Anna has been taking care of dogs and cats since she was a child. She has a great compassion and love for all animals. She knows how to properly walk a dog. She’s great playing with them, cuddling with them and feeding them. Anyone who had Anna look after their pet would be very lucky!”

9. Brittany J.
“Brittany has always loved animals, she takes care of them like they are her children, seriously, she gives them so much love and attention and has always been very reliable, independent and very attentive. Feel confident that she will take the very best care of your family member while you are away.”

10. Cameryn G.
About: Pets of all kinds have had no trouble trusting me. I've helped friends and family take care of their pets, but due to living situations, I've had none of my own. I'm a freelance artist, so exercise is something I'm lacking at the moment. I'd love to get my steps in with your pup as my companion! I love playing and cuddling with animals. I have a large yard, though unfenced, for play. I want to ensure your pets feel safe with me, so anywhere they're comfortable, I'm willing to be!

11. Lainey L.
About: I've worked as a vet assistant, at a pet store, volunteered at a animal shelter and have been dog training, grooming, walking and pet/dog sitting for years. This is what I do for work so I am able to be with your sweeties as much as possible! Feel free to reach out to me! I always monitor and take as best care of them possible. Excercise when they need, rest when they need, potty, food etc. if your pets have a schedule I'll stick to it. If not well then tell me what you'd like and call it done!

12. Tina R.
“Tina is definitely a pet lover. Our daughters are friends and she would always come in to pick her daughter up just to love on our Great Dane Morgan. She would text me just to see how Morgan is doing. She will make a great dog caregiver.”

13. Brittney G.
“Brittney (Britt) is the most loving and compassionate 'animal person' I've ever known. When I first met her about 6 years ago, she came to my house and met my fur babies. The oldest one, a 15 year old chihuahua, actually bit her. Britt reacted so calmly, gave my dog some space, and ended up being her best friend. That BLEW my mind; Twinkie doesn't make friends easily. 6 years later, I'll only leave to go on vacation if Britt is available to watch my fur babies. Doggy hotels or boarding places aren't something I'm comfortable leaving my old Betty at, just because I don't want her to be uncomfortable or uneasy. Britt watches her and takes care of her like she's her own fur baby and she's so wonderful at it! If you love your fur babies like I do, I highly recommend Brittney. Your baby will never be more loved and cared for while you're away!”

14. Karen B.

About: Retired until the next recruiter finds me. Held a security clearance for over 26 years. I've been boarding, house sitting, dropping in, walking, and running with dogs since before COVID hit. I also provide cat care. Open to other duties as assigned (mail collection, plant and/or pool/spa care, garbage/recycling, snow clearing, etc.). Prices are ajustable. Golf league couple evenings/week, and ski locally on weekends. Membership Director of the Battle Creek Ski Club - occasional meetings. 50 mile radius is for house sitting; drop ins or walks within 15 miles please. Safe neighborhood in Battle Creek. I have a fenced yard with good safety latches on the gates. I have a pool with a safety cover off-season. I heat with a solar cover, so house sitting while it’s open is not feasible unless you live nearby. Dogs are not allowed on the pool covers or in the pool. Dogs must stay on leash during a meet-n-greet at my house, as Rover does not cover those. I do not own any pets or have children, and live alone. I can only adequately supervise 1 dog at a time around the open pool. Bi-level home with carpeted stairs. It has been marked, so if that’s a potential issue, please look elsewhere. 4-wheel drive Jeep, so snow is not likely an issue to get to your fur babies.

15. Jayden H.

“Did awesome! Will definitely be asking Jayden to walk our pups again:)”

16. Daniel H.
“Daniel loves other people's pets like they're his own! At any event, you will find him wherever the animals are, giving them lots of love and attention.”

17. Annabelle R.
“Great communication and very responsible. Willing to go for lots of walks and give a lot of attention to the dog, and is trustworthy in the house.”

18. Lonna P.
“Lonna was very kind and sweet and was willing to go out her way to help assist me. She treated my cats with such kindness and care and they loved her!!”

About: As someone who views dogs as furry children, I offer a compassionate and attentive approach to dog sitting. With experience in training and walking dogs of all sizes, I understand the unique needs of each pet. Currently studying nutrition and fitness, I’m well-equipped to keep energetic dogs active, which benefits both their energy levels and attention spans. I am knowledgeable in house and outdoor training, and I am skilled in assertively and kindly interacting with dogs. Rest assured, I will adhere to your dog's feeding and potty routines, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I have a purebred adult Boxer and a senior Boxer mix with previous knee surgery, so I’m experienced in providing extra care for dogs with special needs. I previously cared for a Bichon Frise who lived to 13 years old, further enhancing my understanding of long-term pet care. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and see it as an opportunity to build friendships and provide quality care beyond just earning money. Feel free to contact me to discuss your dog’s specific needs and how I can help. I currently own 2 dogs, they arent aggressive but need to be introduced to new people/dogs. I cannot accept aggressive dogs. It's a 4br home with 2 spare rooms so dogs can be separated if needed. My yard is huge and only fenced on 3 sides, i only feel comfortable taking your dog out on a leash. I am very active with my dogs and if allowed (and weather permits) i go on walks, car rides, parks, ponds, i like letting my dogs smell stuff. I work from home but do have a social life. We can discuss if your dog needs to only be kept in my home or if travel is ok. I enjoy walking dogs and i think it helps with behavior. I love to give them lots of attention and treat them as my children.
