“Very responsive to messages! I appreciated the pictures of our dog while they were there and could see how happy Coco was being there! Thank you again! An absolute pleasure and will definitely book again if needed!”

“This was the longest we’ve ever left Jamaica with someone outside of family, and we didn’t have to worry at all. Just like on our shorter trips leading up to this one, she couldn’t wait to see Amber again—she ran right over and barely looked back at us! It’s clear she absolutely loves spending time with Amber, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’ll definitely continue booking with Amber for as long as she’s offering Rover services.”

“Brooklyn was great. Sent plenty of pictures. Ammo was a little timid at first. Brooklyn sent me picture and kept me updated on his comfortability progression and it didn't take long. Work recommend her for sure!”

“On a busy holiday weekend, Kelley agreed to care for our puppy and a nine day commitment! As always, she is very caring and loving, and gives constant attention to our very active dog. During this nine day period, Kelley even took our dog on an outing where she was able to play on a large acreage area with companion dog. What a great change of pace and opportunity for our puppy to be able to do lots of sniffs and get plenty of exercise. I highly recommendKelli for her flexibility, her at tentativeness and her genuine caring for pups.”

“Christine did a great job with our dogs. Our greyhound got to play in the fenced yard with a couple of other dogs and our small elderly terrier got plenty of lap time with Christine’s mom. Would take our pups back here again.”

“Belle was well cared for by Krista and enjoyed her stay, especially playing with K's 2 dogs in a large fenced yard. When my wife took ill during our trip and we were stuck in anther town, Krista was able and willing to keep Belle an extra day-and a-half in spite of an already busy schedule and houseguests. Her communications were always prompt and concise. She literally saved our day.”

“Danielle was amazing with my senior[16] blind husky. All of her huskies are well trained and played very well with my dog. Danielle is very knowledgeable and I trust her to watch my senior husky with no worry. My dog tends to shut down around other people and completely ignore other dogs. When I picked her up she was very happy and playful with the other huskies after a couple days with them”

“Taya took wonderful care of our dog for a long weekend. We hadn’t left Daryl overnight before, but Taya had everything he needed to feel comfortable, and he was so happy to have two doggie friends to play with in Taya’s huge yard. Taya sent multiple pictures each day and was always quick to respond to any message from me. We are so happy to have found such a great caregiver for our pup!”

Whether your dog is a high-drive athlete or a quiet senior, they will find a safe, structured home here. I’m home full‑time on a quiet rural property, so dogs fit naturally into my daily routine. Dogs stay in a clean, safe, structured environment with constant monitoring.
“I felt very confident leaving my dog with Jenny. She related well to him and took him for a walk and ent pictures. She was very easy to work with and I could tell she really liked my dog. I am so happy to have found such a great dog sitter!”
“Rodney watched our dog Reese. He is awesome! He makes dogs feel at home, has a beautiful yard, and his dogs are very sweet. I’d give Rodney more than 5 stars if it was possible.”

“Catherine did a great job with our anxious reactive little guy (9 yr old Morkie). She was very responsive and sent lots of photo updates. I recommend her if you have a dog that needs some personal space from other dogs that a normal kennel environment can’t provide.”

“Sarah is very good with animals. She has both dogs and cats at her home, but the cats have their own room. Thus, if your animal is not a fan of cats, there is no need to be concerned. dogs were happy to stay there, and they had a great time playing with her dogs. We will definitely use her again because she is closer than our other dog sitter, and our dogs are happy!”

“Tucker stayed with April for ten days. April made the process easy for us. We did a meet n greet. She was quick to respond and provided daily pics/videos of our fur baby. We will def check with her next time we are in need of doggy care. thanks so much!”

“Crystal is the first rover sitter that kept both of my 7 month old puppies. I really appreciate the care that she showed towards my babies and would highly recommend and will request her again if she is available 🥰”

“Nicole and her family took great care of Remi for us. Communication was great at drop off, pick up, and during the stay. Remi's meds were given on time, and we received pictures throughout her stay to show us she was being treated like royalty.”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Albion home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
