“Kelli was amazing! Archie was part of her family during his stay. The fenced in yard was the perfect place for Archie's zoomies, and Kelli send frequent pictures and updates. We will definitely be visiting again!”

“I appreciate Rex having Pyper stay the week with him and his awesome family. He is so thoughtful. He sends updates with pictures daily and that helped me to relax knowing she was doing great. The kids even played with her. I got a pic of her with a mask on that the oldest put on her while picking up his room. I love that they all treat her as part of their crew when she is there. I wouldn’t want to take her anywhere else. Rex and his family are awesome. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my girl when she is there. ❤️”

“Deb was awesome. She really took good care of my dog who is 13 years old. You can tell she has a love for dogs. She was very professional and sent me cute pics during his stay. I would highly recommend Deb to care for your fur baby..”

“James was great with our dogs. He was constantly sharing photos and giving us updates. He was quick to respond too. Our dogs were super happy. Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future with James.”

“Taya was wonderful!! My pup stayed with her while I was out of town and she sent me tons of updates and pictures/videos. I have a timid pup and she was totally understanding about it. Will definitely book again :)”

“Catherine always does great with our dog! He was nursing a leg injury and had some last minute meds from the vet, and Catherine was good about sending updates and giving him the meds as needed. He came home feeling better than when we dropped him off. I highly recommend her!”

“Danielle was amazing with my senior[16] blind husky. All of her huskies are well trained and played very well with my dog. Danielle is very knowledgeable and I trust her to watch my senior husky with no worry. My dog tends to shut down around other people and completely ignore other dogs. When I picked her up she was very happy and playful with the other huskies after a couple days with them”

“Amy was a wonderful sitter for our dog while we were away for a week. We loved all the updates she would share and I could see that our dog was very well cared for and absolutely loved staying with Amy. Thank you so much!”

“Shawnia was the best pet sitter ever. Seven really enjoyed herself and she made me feel at ease during my whole trip by sending me pictures and updates. I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much.”

“Our fur babies enjoyed there stay with Katlynn. They were all taken very well care of and Katlynn was easy and amazing to work with! Would Def recommend Katlynn for caring for the fur babies and will most definitely be back again.”

“This was the longest we’ve ever left Jamaica with someone outside of family, and we didn’t have to worry at all. Just like on our shorter trips leading up to this one, she couldn’t wait to see Amber again—she ran right over and barely looked back at us! It’s clear she absolutely loves spending time with Amber, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’ll definitely continue booking with Amber for as long as she’s offering Rover services.”

“Christine was calm and welcoming to Holly. She sent several photos to us and Holly returned happy and tired :) We already have our next booking set with Christine, thanks!”

“They took good care of my pup. They welcomed us in their home and made sure Snuggz was accommodated. They were even so kind to provide a bowl since I forgot to bring one. The communication was also great when needed. I would recommend”

“We needed someone to watch our dog while we were on vacation and since our dog does not do well around other animals, boarding him at a traditional kennel was not a good option. I found Karen on Rover and she was a perfect match! We were able to board our dog at her home, where there are no other animals, and he was able to receive 1:1 attention while we were away. Karen took great care of him and sent updates/pictures daily. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Im a little late to the review party but Kaila and her fur family are just AMAZING! I could not have found a better pup Sutter for Annie. Kaila cares for her like she's her own and this Alows my pup to socialize around other animals and people in a supervised and controlled setting and not be kooped up at home all the time . I truly appreciate Kaila and recomend her 100% ? plus she is so flexible...bonus!”

“Alexia is a super dog person and goes extra miles, literally, to care for my canine. I thought Tilda might be coming down with an UTI when I left her with Alexia. We discussed that possibility and stayed in contact about how she was behaving. The call came Friday evening that Tilda wasn’t getting better. Long story short, Alexia took Tilda to her vet on Saturday morning and confirmed the infection and started her on two prescriptions for the rest of the weekend. Alexia was gracious to extend the extra care and Tilda was feeling much better at pick up time. Thank you so much Alexia.”

“We were so at ease leaving our fur baby with JoAnn and her husband. They were very welcoming and made sure to update us with photos and texts about how our dog was doing. We highly recommend them.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
